We couldn't have been happier with Shaggy to Chic and their staff!We have an 80lb German Shepherd who's hair was getting out of control this summer.They quoted me $140-$160 and stood by that amount.When I picked up our dog Seger he looked like a new animal! His coat was so soft and all the tangles/loose hair was cleaned up!It took bout 1hr for them to completely clean, brush, and dry out our dog!Thank you so much! We will definitely use their services again and I highly recommend this groomer for anyone with dogs especially large breed dogs with hair!

I’ve been in search for a new groomer since mine retired. My neighbor had heard that Shaggy to Chic was good, so thought I see if they could get my mini doxie in. I left a message after hours and Whitley called me early the following morning and said she could take my dog. She was professional, very helpful when I had questions and gave me an Estimate on how long it would take to groom my dog and she was right on! I’m very pleased that I now have a new groomer that I can trust with my dog!Thank you Whitley!

This place was taken over by a new owner. They are unprofessional. They called at the last minute to tell us they can’t groom our dog today. I have had other incidents with this shoddy company. I really miss the old owners. Our dogs have all there current shots up to date. We have never been asked this before. The way this was handled was very unprofessional. If you wanted shot records you should of said something three weeks ago. Instead you wanted to cancel on us today the day of the grooming. We have put up with our other dogs nails being cut to short where they bled, missing toenails and paid for teeth to be brushed and had to bring them back. We found Bonnie’s grooming in Fair Oaks. They take our word for it that our dogs have current shots. I understand having policies but these need to be communicated and not sprung on us at the last minute

We are over the moon with our Labradoodle Maya's recent grooming at Shaggy to Chic! We recently moved to El Dorado Hills and have had inconsistent results with other groomers. She was happy when I picked her up and looked gorgeous. Thanks Shaggy to Chic!

Not really sure what happened? Used to go and they did a good job. There is a sign that says under new ownership...I knew the original owners, and they sold. I am thinking it must be sold again as the last time Intook her in it was the same as it had always been (about 2 1/2 months ago).,,today?...worst experience in 40 years of owning and caring for dogs. She wouldn't stop shaking and whining when I picked her up (literally almost 20 minutes), had never in 5 years 5-6 times annually to groomer. She has a wire coat which is completely frayed (I have brushed twice) and her tail appears to have the hair burned or electrified...sounds bizzare but I have no better way of describing it. Today is April 16, 2016. Sorry to say, I am now a disgruntled former customer!

HORRIBLE. My dog has never been afraid of the groomer until I took him here. They missed patches of hair and did not wash my dog properly. He had super long patches of hair left over after he was supposed to be cut short. I heard later from an employee that the people here abuse the crap out of the animals brought in. They choke them, slam them against walls, beat them, etc. HOW HORRIBLE!!!!!! I will NEVER take my dog back here. EVER. I cant believe the amount of bull-poopy that goes on here. This place is made up of hair stylists that didnt make it and instead of improving their craft they take it out on the dogs.

0 Stars! In a word - AWFUL! Don't waste your money even if they have a special. Took my West Highland White Terrier in on a 1/2 off thursday. Thank GOD I didn't pay full price!I went over with one of the girls EXACTLY what I wanted. Having gone to other groomers and saying - give her a "Westie" cut evidentally never worked so I went over in detail what I wanted. The legs and feet trimmed, the "Westie" face with the blocked off cheeks and to trim the body down. When I arrived she almost looked exactly like she did when I dropped her off. Ug! Not again! Another groomer who has no idea what a Westie head is suppose to look like? Sheesh look at a Ceasar promo - there is a dog right there with the right look! It's not rocket science! I couldn't exactly figure out why she looked so bad but noticed none of her neck was trimmed so it all blended into the head, so I asked her to trim the neck.When I got home I realized much more wasn't right. She didn't clip ANY of the ears!! Normally you trim the ears short and pull the extra hair out of the ear itself. Nope. Nadda didn't even touch the ears. So I trimmed them as best I could myself - fun! Then I noticed her neck was all choppy and uneven, so I tried to fix that too. Then I looked at her legs. Each leg looked like it was trimmed to a different length!! Some short and some medium and the feet weren't even trimmed!!! This is ridiculous!!!I even talked to the girls about her itchy skin and the one who washed her said she would have used an anti-itch shampoo on her if she had known my dog had itchy skin. I TOLD THE FIRST GIRL SHE HAD ITCHY SKIN WHEN I DROPPED HER OFF! Seriously? Terribly incompetent business. I told them I had an appointment at noon and would it be all right if I picked up in the afternoon and they said fine. Only to find out at 1:50pm that they close at 2pm!Don't waste your time, money or your frustration on this a groomer!

I really like the groomer does a very good job gizmo and piper come out very clean. She seem genuinely concerned about the dogs make me fell good about leaving them there. I would highly recommend this salon and groomer.

we have been going there for over 10 years and the lady at the front desk was so disrespectful and would not even let me talk to the owner over an issue i had all around very disrespectful experience will never go again they lost $200 a month from me
