The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great selection of pet supplies. My Yorkie absolutely loves her groomer, Frances! I’ve been taking my pup to Frances for grooming for about 2 years and have always been very happy.

Whenever I go into this store the young girl behind the front counter, with blonde straight hair, parted down the middle, a little past her shoulders. She is so unfriendly! looks mad, will not say a word to you, other than glare at you. She has ZERO customer service. She is either a very unhappy person or hates her job. Its bad enough that I don't feel comfortable ever coming back to this store.

Great, locally-owned pet store. Great selection of food. Treats, meds, toys, accessories. I've never used their grooming but their owner-use dog-washes are clean, convenient, and provide everything you need.

Our puppy had her first ever hair cut here and they were amazing with her! When I picked her up she was so happy and I could just tell she had a great time. Holly did an amazing job with our baby's first grooming experience!

My girl is older and they were very caring and gentle. The groomer asked me what I wanted, made recommendations, and even found some skin redness on my dog that I wasn't aware of. She smells amazing and is so soft. I will be a repeat customer.

The self wash is terrible. 3 of the 4 tubs we're broken, towels worn out, and the blowers didn't get hot enough to get my dogs dry.

I take my dogs here to use the self-service baths. It's always clean & the staff are friendly. They have everything you need: towels, 3 different kinds of shampoo & conditioner, brushes and cool dryers. They even have an apron so you don't get wet. Oh and the tubs are raised wi thg lots of space on both sides do you can easily clean all parts of you dog without trying to make them move or doing contortions to reach.

My go to dog food place.. Beats all the chain stores in the area and the Bay Area for price on Primal Raw food. The staff is awesome and they have Low cost Vet vaccination on Saturday. They typically don’t stock a ton of regular type of dog food ”with grain” and focus more on grain free. With a giant breed dog and DCM grain is important to incorporate grain. Great bath area to wash the dog and full grooming to make it your one stop shop!!! Worth a visit!

The people here are amazing. I always feel like I can go in there and ask any question about my animals and they are very knowledgeable. The groomers are very informative and reasonable pricing. The owners are also amazing and always willing to say hello when they're in the store.

Made an appointment the day prior with Megan. Came on time hoping to get my newly rescued pup groomed.By law, rabies vaccines must be shown before proceeding. This is not an issue but I would have appreciated a heads up before coming in.I stepped out to consult with the shelter to get an online copy of the paperwork needed & the shelter instead advised to hold off on grooming for at least a month. I come back in and apologize to Megan & shared what the shelter had said. I left the grooming area and browsed around the store to see if there's something I could purchase to at least support the shop.As I was looking for a brush steps away from the check in counter, I heard Megan re-tell our entire encounter in a snarky, sarcastic, and dismissivemanner while coworkers acknowledged her story with laughter.I empathize that I took up a time slot that could have gone to another pet. This is Megan's livelihood. It was not my expectation to cancel but I had to in the best interest of my pet. I thought that would be understood and accepted.However, I feel her behavior was extremely unprofessional, rude, and inexcusable. Frankly, Im disappointed and offended. I came in with genuine intention, was cordial, and apologetic. I recommend choosing somewhere trust-worthy to get your pets taken care of because this place isn't it.

I take my dog to Bark Avenue for his regular wash. They have four self-wash stations. They provide oatmeal and regular shampoos, towels, brushes, aprons. There are two blow-drying stations, too. We tried the professional groomer but it was just pricier (you get more services, especially haircut) than doing self-wash (just a wash & dry) which is $15, discounted to $12 on Wednesdays. Take note that they close the self-wash area 30 minutes before closing time. I learned that the hard way. Groomers are pleasant. Like a vet, your dog (and you) need to match, especially if your dog is finicky. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Surface parking lot in front of store. There is handicap access. Oh and their resident cat is gorgeous 😊 😺

Very helpful staff but guys, I paid $45.99 for dog food then checked online when i got in the car and its $31.99 at Chewy. I was about to walk right back into the store and get a refund but the receipt says exchanges or credit only. I don't appreciate such high overages as it feels like gouging. Gave you 3 full stars because of friendly staff and they deserve a 5.

I absolutely love this place. They are very pleasant each and every time that I come in and they're very knowledgeable about the different types of food. We have three dogs and a cat. Two of our dogs are 15 and 16-years old and our cat who is about 13 has a few medical problems. He has crystal in his pee and he has asthma.It's very hard to watch him have his frequent asthma attacks and there isn't much you can do for him while he has it. We had him on some special food for his crystal pee from the vet, but the side effect is that it was water based so his poop would always be runny and smell horrible and be disgusting to clean up.Per the recommendation of the owner we purchased Taste of the Wild for both our dogs and cats and they're unbelievably healthier! We took the special vet food away from the cat and his poop is normal again and I really don't recall the last time he has had an asthma attack. I know he still has them, but they're so few and far between as opposed to a couple of times a day. The change was almost immediate and our dogs are healthier too! The greatest thing about Taste of the Wild is the cost. It's not one of those insanely expensive brands.The only downside that I've experienced at Bark Avenue was a grooming session where big spots of hair on my Pomeranian were missed. But, we let them know and they fixed it without an issue. I really can't remove any stars for that because no one is perfect and I'm not looking for perfection.

America was AMAZING! My Jack's are not easy to trim/grind nails and usually it would take 2 people. She managed to do both my dogs by herself and give them hugs in between to calm them. Ally was my go to person but has not returned. America, sorry, but I will be looking for you because you are sooooooo good with my fur babies!

I love Bark Avenue. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the selection of quality products is very good. They will special order also. In addition to dog and cat food and supplies, they also offer grooming and have self serve dog washing stations.The new location is great too.

Crystal cut my Boader Collie's claws. He is an older dog and has arthritis in one hip. Crystal was sweet, patient and worked hard crawling around on her hands and knees at my dogs level to help him through the process. ( He sits down a lot because of his hip if there is extra weight shifted onto it for to long ) She was cautious and meticulous in making sure that his nails/claws got cut and that she did not cut into the quick. A perfect job. 5 stars to her. The 4 stars is because the self service bathing area wasn't clean. Hair and water everywhere. The tubs were dirty. But it is the Holiday Season and it was towards the end of the day. Maybe they were just busy. Everyone is always very nice.
