Had Front Brake Package with new rotors put on my mustang at 57000 in June 2023 I’m now being asked to resurface my rotors at 57800 August 14th 2023. Less than 1 thousand miles later I am being told to resurface my Rotors. I wouldn’t trust the El Centro Branch Last time they touch my vehicle. Also Carlos was the one who installed my brakes the first time. Photos are first time and then 2nd time.

DO NOT GO TO PEP BOYS FOR ANY REASON!My vehicle needed an oil change and a slight alignment and after two days (eight hours total), my vehicle came out worse than what it went in as. Esteban refused any responsibility, any compensation for my time and quality of service. After the first day they “aligned” my truck, I had to drive with the steering wheel at 10:00 to avoid driving off the road. The second day, Esteban just smiled at me when I told him how bad my alignment was. No apologies, no sense in correcting the issue (without charging me). So cool that he refunded the alignment; so happy I didn’t have to pay to have my vehicle screwed up. He only agreed to “fix” my vehicle when I told him my traction control and cruise control were disabled because of how bad the alignment is. By “fix” it, I mean correct it enough to turn the light off and then had the audacity to lie to my face and say the alignment was still off cause of the two new front tires. Incompetency and condescension at its finest. Now I have to take my truck to a front end shop to correct what they messed up.

I took my vehicle in for alignment. The staff was friendly and professional. The only problem I had was with the alignment itself. The vehicle still pulls to the left pretty bad and the technician stated that they were not able to alignment one of the wheels to spec. I have previous printouts from past alignments at the old shop I used to take my car to. They were always able to align all four tires to within spec, and no pulling ro the left or right. I think I may return to the old shop for future alignments.

7/21/23If I could this place ZERO stars I would.I called to check if it was ok drop off my car for an alignment, I was told yes by an employee who answered phone I let him know I would be there at 2pm. He said it was fine. I show up at 1:40pm and was refused service. Two employees there stated they were to busy. I had called in advance to avoid this and still happen. They told me next availability would be Sunday. Yet they have a opening for today at 6:30pm but still was refused service. Laziness makes no sense for business!!

Aldo was a great help, I got a flat before they closed and he made sure to stay open late for me and take care of me so I could make it back to Vegas. He was super transparent about the condition of my tires and gave me a great deal on four brand new tires. I never felt once like he was trying to upsell me or scam me. 10/10 would recommend this shop when in times of emergency. Thanks for taking care of me boys!

It is now Advanced Auto Parts. Good customer service, very polite and courteous. Willing to help. I gave it a 3 Star but let me correct that! We were pleased with the service, knowledgeable assistance and cleanliness of the store. And it's no fault of the service person at the counter, it is just because the part that we needed was not available and this is due to the sick not being available. Again, no fault of the store. Because of this Pandemic it's still hard to properly acquire what is needed. Thank you Christian.

From the moment i called to make my appointment the professionalism of the staff was amazing. Chris did an amazing job at making sure I received the best customer service. I have been a customer for years and have always received quality service with Pepboys in El Centro. I took my car in for several problems and it was fixed to the point my 2013 honda sounds and feels like a new car. Very happy with the service. They gave me a deadline of when my car should be ready and they met it. Highly recommend their service.

Dishonest employees quoted extremely high prices and tried to use scare tactics telling me my car was unsafe to drive. Drove away (completely safe) and was promptly quoted less than half their price to fix my car elsewhere. I will never go to this place again be careful if for some reason you end up here.
