I don't know why people give this place bad reviews. I absolutely love this place. I like the atmosphere and the food is delicious. Now some people mentioned the Chilaquiles, they were great! This place is made to order and the server's have a lot of people to tend to when I'm there. This isn't Denny's, and if that's what you want then you're at the wrong place.Now, the Chilaquiles were delicious and they are different then how I make it. And the Lemonade is so good. My mom and sister had coffee de la olla. They also had crepes. The servings are big, but it's so good and we all shared some of our dishes with each other. Love this cute place.

The coffee is great! Absolutely love it way more than the main coffee chain here in the valley ( you know which one). However, in my limited experience going there, the time the place closes changes even when it says it's open and the schedule online differs from what the employees say. The one in calexico is better imho, the atmosphere is more lively, and the staff is more attentive. Still I recommend this place. Support local business ❤️

Came here to try the chilaquiles and my wife ordered the crepes. The crepes were decent, the chilaquiles tasted ok as well. Didn't give me that fresh made chilaquiles taste more like a thrown together with canned sauce and chips. It was nicely decorated but I don't think we will be coming back.

Giving it a one star is by far generous of me! Arrived with my family and no one acknowledged us when we got there this morning! We sat down and the workers did see us but just kept talking amongst themselves. 20 min passed by and no one came up to our table! not one worker in sight! …….We left ASAP

This place has so much potential! The atmosphere is nice (plenty of indoor and outdoor seating), the menu has lots of options and the coffee was good. The items are expensive (over $8 for an iced caramel macchiato) but I like to support local businesses, so I was willing to overlook this.Unfortunately the employees weren’t attentive. We were greeted and handed a menu but then the cashier played on her phone until we were ready to order. I asked a question about the menu but the employee didn’t seem to know much about the menu, explaining that it was new. Being a first time customer, this was not the best impression.

Lots of improvement here from when it first opened... friendly staff and adorable atmosphere. It's also family-friendly. But do stick to their specialties - crepes, salads, and flavored coffee drinks.Parking: Plenty of street parking always available.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the Comics room and Comics crepeWheelchair accessibility: Yes, through the side of the building.

“Dog friendly”, but outside only. In 100°f weather…. so not dog friendly. Been there before, coffee is good and the crepes are okay. Burgers and beers had no problem

They sat us down and didn’t come to us for a drink order until 15 minutes later. It was only when they took our food order did they ask us for drinks, but when another group came and sat down after us they received their drink order promptly.Apparently their paninis are premade because the one I requested wasn’t already made and offered to either give me the one that is already made or make it as a croissant. When the food finally did arrive (we only ordered an egg toast and the premade panini, still arrived later than necessary), the nachos on the side were cold and the panini tasted microwaved (warm on the edges and cold in the center).The only saving grace was the waffle we ordered which, luckily, was made fresh. Would not come again, I’d rather go to iHOP when the food is at least served fresh and the drinks arrive when we sit down.

Hope Cafe was an amazing find in El Centro. The artisan hot chocolate was delicious and the pizza panini was mouth watering.

Come here pretty often. The waitresses are always very friendly. The owner took the time to help me perfect my usual coffee order, so I know how to order it each time. The barista who made it was very patient with me and made sure I enjoyed my coffee before I left. Staff definitely goes above and beyond for their customers! I love Hope Cafe. The food was good. The ladies working there were great too. The ONLY thing that was not good was the fact that it was hot inside. No airflow whatsoever. Our group had to move outside. Seriously turn the air conditioner on we saw that the termostat said 85. That's not fair for your staff.

It seems that no matter how much feedback we provided for this place they never listen. The service was terrible and the manager with short dark hair is so rude it’s unbelievable. I didn’t catch her name but I went on Friday the 9th. I could hear the conversations they have and it’s so disheartening because they talk horribly about customers and who knows who else. The food is not worth the price while decent not worth what I payed for. The sauce on the crepes was chunky and tasted stale. The expresso was burnt. Overall this place is overpriced and the owner doesn’t seem to care what her customers have to say.

Every time I go, I get the Java chip frappes. They are usually so watery and if it’s not then it’s just chunks of ice. The food is alright but the prices? Wayyy to high for what it’s worth. And when I go, it’s almost every time there’s only one waitress serving a lot of full tables! Some girls I see working look so tired and stressed but a lot of them are really nice and friendly. Overall customer service is good but the food…No. Me and my friend will definitely not be going back or recommending this establishment to any others. Don’t go to this place unless you like mediocre food and drinks that charge for Starbucks-like quality.

Melissa seemed annoyed when we were ordering, she got our order wrong multiple times and even forgot some of our items. When we tried ordering those items again she replied with “the kitchen is closed”. We were sitting outside and she allowed what seem to be her friends smoke next to us while we were eating. It is not the first time we have had a bad experience with the workers at hope.

Very cute place, I’m glad they kept the same scenery as the last coffee house that was there. Service was friendly. Food was delicious, coffee was yummy! The only issue id say is when picking up from an online order they just kind of stand there and don’t say if your order is ready or not. A little pricey but all in all its great.

The decor and the food here is cute but the staff is extremely inappropriate. This used to be mine and my boyfriends favorite place for dates. However, me and my boyfriend came here for a date one day and our waitress MELISSA* took it upon herself to ask my boyfriend if he was single once I left the room. I notified a supervisor about the conduct but I have never in my life had a server hit on anyone in my party. Extremely inappropriate. Not sure if we will ever eat here again. We spent $50 here just for our waitress to end the service that way was just a terrible experience
