I was reading the most recent review from "Jennifer Roth", and wanted to say I am praying for you. But I most definitely agree with all that you have listed. This pharmacy, and store management have HORRIBLE customer service and work ethics. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves for how they treat customers and their health. I have been dealing with the SAME issues with my medications from this particular store. What a shame that people treat customers, or other people the way they do. Like I told the store manager, they need to look into the looking glass at themselves and ask themselves if is this the way that they would like others to treat them, every time they service someone. I am moving my services back to the La Jolla "Community" pharmacy. Where they treat customers with compassion. IT IS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE.

Don't even deserve 1 star! The NEGLIGENCE at This pharmacy is unbelievable! Been with them 10+ yrs, in the last two years it's but nothing but sheer negligence! Im terminally Ill I suffer from lung tumors and CF, I call a week ahead to make sure my prescriptions where sent, make sure they are all correct, and make sure they have them in stock. How does your pharmacist tell a patient their medications are fine and will be ready for pick up one day then tell them the script was written incorrectly and they won't fill it. I call to make sure there is no issues so they can be corrected by my doctor before my scripts are due if they need correcting. It's not the first time and I was told by management they would speak to pharmacist about giving patients incorrect information.. obviously it's not been done cause I'm still dealing with negligent pharmacists.. called on Monday the 25 to make sure everything was good on Saturday the 30th to pick up my meds... Now I'm on my way to the ER cause I have no way to reach my doctor on a Saturday I'll be without my meds all weekend due to the negligence of this pharmacy. They have put my life in risk for the last time I'm seeking legal representation this is not how I as a terminally Ill patient should have to spend my life cause a pharmacy isn't responsible. State of California pays you a lot of money to do your job this is unacceptable!!

I'm so tired of these lazy pharmacy people. They don't call in to your insurance, they don't communicate, and they are rude on top of that. Change where u get prescriptions if you can. These idiots are worse than Walmart by far. Who hired the "not gonna do anything team"?? That manager should be fired. Pharmacy is a joke and makes u lose and run out of pain meds. They aren't here to help you. That's been made clear. Please fire whoever hired these clowns... please. My insurance is tired, and so are we of doing their work for them.Update: thank you Crystal. You were the only one that detected the others mistake. Unfortunately took the day. Thankful Crystal is there.

Worst pharmacy in all of San Diego. I called in to check on a Paxlovid prescription that was supposed to be ready at 3pm. Was put on hold four times and hung up on. Called back to have them tell me they were behind. And would not give me a time that they would be ready. I let them know today is the last day to take this medicine and asked if they could let the pharmacist know, since they said she was busy. No response. It is now 9pm, and it is still not ready. No one answers the phone, they just kept putting me on hold. Horrible customer service. I understand Walgreens is understaffed but they choose to take it out on the customers. Filing a complaint with the state board.

Truly sad to say that this Walgreens has a lot of issues to overcome. I have been a customer here for over 20 years, but I can't in good conscience give a favorable review. From treatment of customer by phone to management of store, I don't see how the corporate office keeps this location in any good graces. All the other comments I see are unfortunately fairly true. I will say that on the positive side, the manager within the pharmacy department is good and able. It must be hard for a competant person to work here. Perhaps that's why they keep closing the so - called "24 hr" store nearly every night due to the lack of nighttime personnel. The weird thing is, I have gotten daily texts lately, saying their hours are now back to normal. Not true at all. Also, if you call to ask about the hours, you are given improper information. Always try to call before you go there. Not that you can get through very well....ššµāš«

I had a review up, which was so negative, I took it down. But after reading the other reviews, and receiving incorrect medication quantities, and being shorted on other medication, I feel the need to post again.I can't speak to the integrity of the employees because it's obvious Walgreens management doesn't care at all. I feel bad for the employees. Walgreens is one of the biggest pharmacies and should be able to afford to staff correctly so that 1) staff isn't overworked and 2) customers don't need to wait >45mins.So.... gang. Vote with your feet. Go somewhere else.

Walgreens processes my prescriptións quickly and accurately. The drive through to pick up my RX is a blessing since I am crippled even though the wait can be long.

I waited outside 15 minutes to pick up prescription no acknowledgment or anything, they ignored me I had to go inside. Iāll probably switch pharmacies , absolutely awful customer service. I Mean if you donāt like your job go get a new one. No one was friendly or nice at all.

Donāt come here for the flu shot. My husband made an appt and still waited over half an hour. Both ladies there were unorganized. But I come here to write this review because Iām just fed up with this place that Iāll be updating my preferred pharmacy for future prescriptions. Iāve had an incident in the past where we were given false information about a medication we picked up and was told it wasnāt safe for breastfeeding, fast forward I spoke to my OB and come to find out it was safe. the physician was so appalled by hearing that she even asked for the location so she can give them a call to make sure they have the correct information for future customers because thatās how serious it is! The amount of wasted milk was so infuriating I wanted to cry. So to circle back.. donāt come here for the flu shot or anything for that matter.

First time at this Wallgreens, doctors office sent my medication to wrong one, but thatās a story for another day! So first the Pharmacist⦠Melissa is/was GREAT⦠great personality, friendly & explains what you need to do & know about new medications you were prescribed. Unfortunately didnāt get the pharmacy technicianās name that first started helping me, she was great⦠attentive & friendly. Had I just interacted with those two, i would have given 5 stars! Unfortunately one pharmacy technician name Tina, wow⦠she didnāt give me or the previous person I saw her help, her full attention. She was to busy chatting it up with some girl she apparently knew, or was there on her day off, or whatever. She kept starting to scan my medications, then would stop, start chatting again, I had to enter my phone number multiple times. Iāve never had to do that, so Iām guessing that she was taking so long to process the transaction (because of her chatting), that it was timing out or making her log back in and start over?? Iām guessing thatās why i had to enter my phone number in about 4 or 5 times!! Itās fine to chat, but do your job & take care of the customers first, then chat because you have time, donāt chat it up and waste a customers time⦠especially when they had to drive out if their way to the wrong Wallgreens because of their doctors office screwed up!! Thanks again Melissa & other pharmacy tech that was wearing a mask & had freckles on her face! Tina, ya need to re-evaluate your priorities!! āļø

Came at 12:15 for a drive thru Covid test for my fiance, as instructed in the email, and the pharmacist not only laughed at my partner for trying to take the test but insisted they donāt do that and that heās supposed to come inside. She argued with him over the instructions, didnāt accommodate him after we waited in line, and never apologized. Completely condescending, and stupid to make folks who know they have Covid but need the documentation to come INSIDE your store. Do BETTER.

I love the drive-thru pharmacy, it can make things so nice. However, they tend to be so slow! Sometimes they take much longer than needed in the pharmacy!!

This is the worst and I mean worst for filling medications in EL CAJON! Doctors put in meds at 1pm and you get there at 5 6 hours later and they tell you to wait a hour before pick up! Itās ridiculous! Super understaff HIRE MORE PHARMACIST!

24 hour store is a 24 hour store. I had to drive all the way from the Midway location to this store to get what I needed. This is the ONLY 24 hour location in a 20-30 mile radius. At least this store is OPEN and had a steady stream of customers buying.

Worst customer service experience Lance the manager has no clue on what his doing everything i asked him he literally answered with a "i dont know" the guy is clueless on what hes doing. Something wrong with the guy. Probably hates his life and doesn't like working there. Hes not there to help anybody.

I would give this location zero stars if I could but then it wouldnāt let me leave a review so I had to give it one. All I can say is I went to the store yesterday and it was terrible. The LabCorp people are rude and nasty. the management (Lance) doesnāt care he look like he didnāt even want to be there. so the same day that I wrote this review, I also called corporate they told me I would be receiving a call back within 24 hours. Itās been five days nobodyās called me back so I called to check on my complaint and apparently no complaint was ever filed. Wow. I will say this much all these reviews are true Glad to know that thereās other pharmacies. Besides this one from now on, Iāll take my business to CVS.

Every time I go to pick up my medicine, after getting text from them telling me they are ready., they find an excuse to say they are jot easy. And when I come back to get for second time they give some of them while on app it tells me o picked them up. When I call them to find out what is going on.basically they try to get rid of me by saying we don know why that is happening.May be you will get it later.all of the employees donāt know what they are talking about. Very rude and unprofessional. When I complained they told me if I donāt like it change they Pharmcy. What a great answer. Not sure how they get hired.

Whoever the obviously inept and histrionic manager of this place is, this is not a Walgreens I would voluntarily shop at. From the human fecal matter in the parking lot and numerous syringes strewn about the property, the lack of staff to man the registers, I have spent over 10 minutes waiting to be checked out numerous times, I would definitely choose another pharmacy to do any future shopping, in fact there is a conveniently located cvs just down the street on Broadway and 2nd. The manager of this place is the main problem though. He is beligerant towards customers, I once washed him push a homeless, handicapped female in a wheelchair off of the property and onto the main street where she was nearly struck by a few vehicles. He has attempted to goad me into an altercation on a few occasions. He should be more concerned about the with the human waste in his parking lot, then whether he can best me verbally.

if I could leave negative stars I would. THIS is by far the WORST pharmacy Ive ever been to. they always have a excuse why my prescription isn't filled, then are rude when I get upset. took them over 6 hours to fill my prescriptions, ( only had 3 of them) AFTER calling to confirm it would take 90 minutes to fill them. NEVER going here again. The staff are hard to understand, and on top of that get mad when you ask them to repeat themselves. When you ask to speak to their manager they ask what do you mean and the doctor comes out and gets mad at YOU because you just want your prescription. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!

The laboratory area has bad service, one of the women who takes blood samples pronounces your last name very badly when they call you, and then gets upset because you can't GUESS who she is calling. Bad attitude to serve.

Horrendous customer service! I brought in a simple insulin prescription for my cat from the vet to be filled. What a nightmare! The employee that took my prescription told me she needed more info from the vet. I called the vet's office and they spoke to her. The employee then told me she had the info she needed and to come back in an hour, so I did. When I returned, she looked at me like she had never seen me before. Then said she told me 1 to 4 hours was needed to fill the prescription. Then she said she never received the faxed info from the vet. The vet's office was closed by this time, so I couldn't call. I talked to another employee and then the pharmacist, who wanted a DEA number for the vet (which is needed for controlled substances, not insulin). Since the vet's office was now closed, the vet was not available to give that info. The pharmacist refused to fill the prescription without the info. So my poor cat goes without badly needed insulin because these incompetents can't ask for the info they say they needed when they were talking with the vet's office earlier. Such rude and heartless employees! I have no idea why Walgreen's stays in business.

Expired medication. 2 hours in drive thru with 2 cars in front of me. LabCorp bruised me on blood draw. I was going to go for drug screen. They said no appt necessary until I got there. Went online for appt first available. Was there weeks out. Personally their employees are lazy and don't want to work. I would suggest anywhere but here. Would love the mgr to call me.

The girls running the pharmacy do not know what they are doing they need more training. I paid for my prescription using the express pick up pass and when I went to pick up they said they didnāt know what I was talking about. I tried to provide them with the express pick up code but no luck so I had to pay again. I donāt mind since it was only 10Ā¢ however it would have sucked if my prescription was higher cost and these ladies could not figure out that itās been paid even though the express pick up code can be used for both in store and drive through pick up. Walgreens please train your employees better and keep them updated on the payment options you provide online. Also it was a ridiculously long wait even with both windows āopenā the girls take way too long to get you your prescription they need more staff and better training.

I made an appointment online to get my shingles vaccine only to be told they are not doing vaccines today. I wasted my gas and I will have to come back tomorrow. This was a great store and I have been coming here for 15 years. The service had been amazing up to now. I am sad this is how long time customers are being treated. I understand it is a holiday but then why were the appointments available? I will not be getting my vaccines here anymore.

Had a flu shot appointment for 12:30, arrived at 12:18 and had to wait in line with the pharmacy til 12:47. Once I was checked in, the lady put me to the side and told me she would get the paperwork to me in a few, well, that wasn't until 12:58. Once i turned it in, i waited until 1:25 and stood up to tell them i was leaving. it was unacceptable to wait an hour before getting seen. While i understand that they were busy, they should close off lunch hours for the vaccine clinic if they know that they'll be backed up. Don't recommend coming here for vaccines.
