We LOVE this pet store! My husband and I have completely switched from Petco/Petsmart over to Kahoots and it was the best decision. The staff is always super friendly, at this point they’re more like family. They remember who we are from going in so often and they are exceptional people. Each employee is also very knowledgeable about anything we’ve asked about and if they don’t know, they do their researchThe quality of products are amazing, we even switched over to their own line of dog foods and treats for our fur babies. The price on it can’t be beat eitherCleanliness, from what I’ve seen at every location, is always top priority. The isles are always clean and clear, everything is always organized and never mixed around, and I don’t take a second thought if I need to use their restroomThere is so much more I could say about Kahoots but it’ll turn into a novel. I’ll just leave it at, I highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet!

This place is awesome. The people are very nice and I would highly recommend taking advantage of their teeth cleaning. They use water and they don’t have to go under an anesthetic. My dog is 10 and her teeth came out great and there was no problem.

I needed a feeding/drinking bowl set for my faithful pooch. The bowls here were too expensive.The manager was walking the aisles hollering on his phone and complaining about a customer. I didn’t even know he was the manager. I asked the cashier at the customer counter who that loud man was and she said, “He is the manager.”I found a much nicer bowl set at Walmart for half the price.

My daughter and I go to this store often to pick up supplies for our little guinea pigs. The customer service is great and the reason I go back. As a person new to the world of guinea pigs, I had and still do have a lot of questions. Each time the staff have been so kind and helpful. Providing suggestions for how to deal with allergies to the hay. Feeding space for the boys to prevent them from fighting. Treats and toys to keep them entertained. Always checking how they are doing. Coming to Kahoots feels like I have a team helping us on this new journey. Thank you for such amazing service!

The store has a decent selection and very friendly staff. They do not, however, carry the brand of cat food that I feed my feline overlord. So he has forbidden me from shopping there for food. They do not carry the Science Diet brand of cat or dog food. They also do not sell the squeezable cat food treats, like Churu or Delectables, which the overlord loves. So for food, I shop elsewhere. The only reason why my feline overlord hasn't ordered me to destroy the store entirely is because they do carry his brand of Petsafe crystal litter. Thank goodness because I can't get in trouble with the police again.They did recommend organic cat food to us, which is a product of Kahoots, I believe. I tried to feed him this, but it did not give the overlord nutrient satisfaction, as it induced involuntary emmesis (vomit). Try at your own risk. The overlord almost murdered me, accusing me of poisoning him. Luckily, I had several Churus on hand to assuage his anger.DISCLAIMER: The "overlord" and mentions of "destroy the store" or "trouble with the police" or "poisoning" or "murder" are satirical in nature and only intended to be of comedic value. I have not been in trouble with the police ever, and I do not believe my cat to be an overlord, and I have never destroyed a store, poisoned or murdered any living creature protected by Peta. But, if you own a cat, you know what that means. 😏

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a pet store. Very condescending and down right dismissive when I asked questions about the product and other items in the store. I assume they were a manager of a sort as after they talked to me they walked behind their taller counter and sat there the entire time while the other employee was actually working. I asked the employee this and they told me they didn't mind it and they were doing other work. I could hear their phone from the register after checking out.If anyone is thinking of try this location I would advice against it. The employee I talked to was pleasant though. Seems management is the real problem

Technician was extremely rude. No bedside manner and made me feel like my dog was horrible. My dog was fearful and didn’t want her near him. She appeared unhappy and I don’t recommend you going to this pet store for teeth cleaning.

Visited looking for a harness for my kitten and a nice lady helped me find it and complete my purchase. I love kahoots. ❤️ clean store and well stocked. So many pet services offered here. Such a gem!

I was very pleasantly surprised. I was wearing my caregiver hat the other day, and brought someone in in a wheelchair. We were immediately met with a pleasant greeting, and a young woman who became our personal shopper :-)She followed us around the store, answered questions, and brought our selections up to the front of the store for us.You go into a major pet chain, and the best the staff can usually do is read the labels with you. These people were actually very knowledgeable, had a great attitude, and were eager to help.I would definitely go back.

I love this pet store! I go here all the time for all my pets needs. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. They even do vet services for shots, claw trimming, dental work once a month without the vet fee!! A local vet comes out and does it but the fact that it happens makes my life so much easier and great on the wallet! I love our local San Diego pet store Kahoots!! I highly recommend, plus their brand pet food is really good for your dogs/cats!!! ❤️❤️❤️

If you have any type of pet this place is for you. I personally love the knowledgeable employees and their fantastic suggestions for food and toys. We recently got a crested gecko, and there was a very helpful employee who knew his way around reptiles. How awesome is that. Really, this is an incredible resource for pet owners of any sort. Check them out. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

Great staff! They help you right as soon as you walk in the door. They are very knowledgeable. They also make a great dog food that is store brand, but has great ingredients and is reasonably priced. I love this store! I wish they were open a little later however they do close at 8 pm. Other than that this is an excellent place to go for your fur Buddies. They have lots of intelligent toys and everything is easy to find in the store.

The staff at Kahoots were very attentive and assisted us at every step of our shopping experience. We have stopped going to the more well known pet store down the road and likely will continue. The staff had tremendous feedback for every question we had and they made us feel comfortable asking them questions regarding our dog and cat!

Recommend this place. Staff are very helpful and they also have the same return policy as of Petco. I bought CBD drops for my dog and it gave him diarrhea and I took it back and they let me exchange for the treats and they are working great.

Great pet store! The staff is very friendly and helpful and prices are a little bit better than petco but nothing beats Amazon. They have a grain free store brand food that's pretty well priced also. I'll definitely be going there in the future.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Variety of selections across the board for your various pet needs. Very fresh millet for your birds. My dogs eat the salmon/sweet potato Kahoots brand dog food & do very well on it. One of my dogs has very sensitive skin & this food does not irritate it. My cats are also on the Kahoots orange bag brand cat food. It’s great for all ages from kitten through senior.

They have a large variety of pet food. My dogs are particular and like canned duck food. This place has a large selection. Stores are clean and the employees have always been welcoming and helpful.

Very good selection of dog food. Needed something that was air or freeze dried for our 11-year old Chihuahua, and the employee who helped us referred us to an on-sale Ziwi product to try. Appreciated the advice!
