Just started my new hobby-saltwater aquarium. Very friendly employees. When I have questions I always go there and they help me. They are very knowledgeable. I buy water from them and do all water tests. They have a tool to adjust the lighting in aquarium.They have so many fishes and corals for best prices compared to others. So if you thinking about start aquarium, just go there. They help you to start aquarium with your budget.

It's a small shop that mainly sells saltwater stuff, but they do have a bigger warehouse in Hayward where they keep most of their livestocks; just inquire about those specific ones. Also, the owner and caretakers are friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go-to place to get my top-off water refills.

A fantastic option in the area. Has great water options, and amazingly helpful staff. Was a great help in picking the right lighting for a new reef tank that I am helping my nephew settup. Also had great prices. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is because it is a small store, and selection is not a big as most of us would like, but at the same time, if you don’t see what you need, they can order it, and it will be at a very competitive price.

This place is really great! Good selection of reef supplies, a variety of water that they fill for you (so nice!), and everyone I’ve encountered working there is very knowledgeable. Not to mention eager to answer any questions, which speaks to how passionate the staff here is about reefing! Definitely recommend checking them out.

This place is am amazing. Very clean, nice selection of Corals. Mark went out of his way to bring, and set up my Tank. Everytime that Norm is around. He's very friendly and his prices are on point! I love the location of the store. Very easy to get too from the Freeway. Thanks SJ reef.

The kid working there was kind and helpful. Would definitely go there again to support local small business. They only have saltwater stuff as per their name ‘reef’ so don’t go expecting regular pet store fish. They do have supplies, however.

Super Friendly, pretty well for a store that just opened. Coral prices are extremely good compared to other sites. They have some pretty awesome mocha storm clowns at the time of writing this. If you live in the area, you must visit!

Wow… while visiting from the north bay I dropped into SJReef to check out the stock and left with a half-dozen coral, RedSea gear, designer clown and overall very pleased. Logan is very knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby - thanks Logan! I will definitely make time to come back soon!

Check out their store. It’s not big but they have some nice coral and fish. Their customer service is unmatched compared to any store I can think of. It’s great to have a quality local fish store that can give knowledgeable advice.

This places never open on time ..people waiting outside to open .. over priced corals and fish , supply's are just things people don't use ..and they sit up in the shelves wasting places for good supplies ..the people that work there are nice ..and they do know there stuff
