A “management team member” in the Discovery Bay CVS argued with me on a pice that showed on the CVS App when scanning the item and refused to discuss the price difference. She had ZERO customer service and should not be allowed to work with the public. She was combative and her tone was angry! I will never shop at that store again, returned the item I bought after going to Safeway and found the same exact item for the lower price. I will go out of my way to avoid rude stores, managers and will never go back!!

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. Rude. Very rude. There are a couple employees here that do go out of their way to help their customers, but everyone else looks at you like “please go away” lolAlso they take a lunch from 1:30-2:00pm and they are completely closed during that time.They enjoy being difficult. Safeway is better.

Best experience at the Discovery Bay CVS on July 4th. I forgot my cash and credit cards at home and was purchasing a greeting card. The clerk, Darcy, offered to pay for the card. She then discovered I had $20 in Care Pass rewards and I was able to buy other items along with the card. Thanks, Darcy, for going above and beyond!

Regarding CVS pharmacy in Discovery Bay--I keep putting off going because their hours are extremely limited. Then I come in during my work, extra trip just to go during open hours and they are at lunch 1:30 - 2. The cashier was extremely rude! Says they are at lunch at that time every day (quite rudely I might add) as if I know this?! Think I need to switch pharmacies...

Extremely poor people skills and business practices. All of this in one visit:Told us that the prescription wasn’t sent to them and there was nothing they could do. After driving around, confirming prescription with ER, etc., we found out it was simply under the wrong name and they had meant to call us.We never could get a phone call through, and once in store I found out why. During my 40 minutes in store, “1 call for pharmacy” was on repeat. They chose to never answer the incoming calls, even just to say sorry we’re busy can you wait on hold or call back”.Once they found and resolved the issue, they discovered they didn’t have a simple antibiotic. Thankfully they did try and find another location that had it, but said they couldn’t confirm because the other CVS wouldn’t answer the phone either.Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but the negative attitude and hostility on top of the issues really put a bow on the whole experience.

This CVS is easy to deal with regarding prescriptions, insurance, communication and help with applying discounts. We’re very happy with the service we’ve received at this particular store.

I came in today, which is Thursday December 5th at 12:00 noon. I was up all night feeling like trash. I came to rite-aid to find some form of cold relief. I was surprised on how many natural options the store had. Right away, an older woman came to ask us if we were okay. I said we were fine thank you. My husband and I wanted to take our time to read everything. She stayed in the aisle eyeing us the whole time, making us very uncomfortable. If we went in next aisle, there she was. Guess it’s because we were wearing tie dye. Very suspicious. Get her some tolerance training. I figured she was the manager. Definitely not manager material. I’ll drive to Antioch before I’ll ever return to that store.

Lists having a pharmacy but never have meds in stock. Dropped off prescription Saturday morning 10am, told meds not arriving until Tuesday afternoon. It's always a delay here.My prescription is not uncommon. Employees wear t shirts listing pharmacy, a nice office and exterior building but never the actual meds in hand. Waiting four days for meds when released from ER is not fun.

I bought a haging potted plant, the plant died out..the planter and dirt sat on the deck for a few months..one evening I got home and found it melted from the sun, soil was burnt out and deck was burning away..could have burnt the whole house down if I hadn't found it!! What is in the soil and plastic pot that combust from the sun??
