It's a nice little tour through the aquarium and the seal show is terrific. My kids absolutely love it. The gift shop is full of trinkets. The only things I wish could be different is that there is no reasonable access to physically disabled people. They do offer a screen to watch the tour from upstairs but it's not the same as in person. Also they kind of rush you through a little too quick. It would be great to have more free access to enjoy just watching the fish and seal lions at leisure. Admission price isn't bad at all though, so it's worth it as long as you're able to walk down fairly steep stairs. There are ample photo ops throughout the whole aquarium. You also get to pet a shark.

A quaint little aquarium experience. They have a four part tour: the first part includes a photo opportunity and a touch and feel tide pool experience. The second part includes a walk downstairs ( there is not an elevator) to the underground aquarium viewing experience. Then, back upstairs to the shark petting portion with another photo opportunity. Last, we walk outside to a covered walkway surrounding a pool where the seals and sea lions give a spectacular performance. All in all, the tour was about 45 minutes. It begins and ends in their gift shop, which is full of fun treasures.

Tanks were dirty and obscured views of the animals. Too many animals per tank. The ‘touching’ aspect of the tour doesn’t take into account animal welfare with some animals in the tide pool showing injuries from previous guests. The ‘petting’ shark sits in an empty pool for 3 days before it gets rotated out. The seal and lion pool was too small for the number of animals, and the sea lions had some inflamed eyes from the grime. Was rushed through the tour without any time to really look at anything either. Didn’t learn ANYTHING from the tour itself. NOT ADA accessible. Felt cheap, tacky and dirty. Disappointed in myself for going.Cora, the sea lion, had an impressive group of learned behaviors and that was pleasant to see. Pity such an intelligent group of animals has to live in such a small aquarium.You get what you pay for! :)

Let me tell you, the staff at Ocean World were simply amazing! They were so knowledgeable and eager to share their expertise with us. We decided to take the guided tour, and let me tell you, it is an absolute must-do! It was beyond incredible. We had the chance to pet starfish, play with sea urchins, and can you believe it, we even had the opportunity to pet sharks! It was such an exhilarating experience.The entire place was filled with plenty of photo-worthy moments, and we made sure to capture every single one. The gift shop was also great, offering a wide range of souvenirs and memorabilia. What really impressed us was how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The atmosphere was so enjoyable, and the facility itself was spotlessly clean.Finding Ocean World was a breeze, as it's conveniently located just off the main road. Trust me, it's a must-visit when you're in Crescent City.

Unique small group sized tour with knowledgeable guide. The almost private seal and sea lion show is a much better experience than those at amusement parks. And the petting pool to feel one of the fiah was an unexpected surprise.Great experience for kids and adults!

It has been 20 years since our last visit and we had even more fun this time.The guided tour was well priced and worth every cent. The young lady doing the tour was amazing and very knowledgeable. You get a chance to touch some sea life and even pet a Leopard Shark!Gift shop was reasonably priced and had tons of things to pick from for the young and old alike.Thank you for another set of great memories.

Cute little sea creature rescue place. Its not massive, and you won't spend more than an hour there. It was nice to have a guide that can answer questions. My kids were thrilled to pet a shark. The seals are super cute and entertaining. We spent a small fortune in the gift shop, lol.

Absolutely loved our experience! We were fortunate enough to get an unscheduled private tour, (it was a Monday evening) our tour guide was very informative, and fun! Very hands on experience! Fun starfish tank, a shark tank that you can pet the sharks! The seal show was a kick to watch! Would definitely go again!

Was not expecting such a great seal show! It is obvious the staff cares for their animals. Also it was really cool to pet the shark. I loved that the staff allowed the guests to set the pace for the tour, I never felt rushed.

Ocean world is a experience with full of treasure and trinkets. It’s a family must see especially in this small area it’s a must do ! We entered this amazing ocean up surfing a wave and riding a jet ski on the ocean. Then the adventure took place on a tour with pirates and orcas and getting to visit little tide pools and feeling and touching these amazing sea creatures . From there getting to pet a very friendly pet shark who definitely wanted the attention and pets . To travel to sea lions perform and have a fun time with us . Very interesting and informative must do with the family .

An awesome place for the whole family especially if you love the ocean and sea life. The tour lady was really enthusiastic and informative but humorous at times as well. There's a shark petting part of the tour which I didn't expect and was awesome. Alot of fun facts about ocean life that you maybe didn't know. At the end is an amazing seal/sea lion show that is very impressive and fun. And the gift shop is huge and has stuff for everyone and many unique gifts at a reasonable price. I'm a mermaid freak so I spent around $160 but got several things. Only downfall was the cold, rainy weather. And the fact I'm on vacation and already have the car packed with all of my shopping and I couldn't buy more things in the gift shop ! Highly recommend. Thankyou for an awesome tour and show! Will definitely come back again one day with my younger family members. ❤️

I really enjoy this place. If you get there early the tour groups are smaller and it seems more enjoyable that way. Very cute and clean. It was definitely fun for the kids

It’s a pretty short tour but it’s cute and fun for what it is! I would recommend it specially for little kids. You get to touch different kinds of fish and even a shark which was cool because the shark swam over to me and stopped so I could pet her the hole time. The tour ends with a really awesome sea lion show. Some of the tricks and acting skills these animals have is impressive and funny so be ready for a good time. I’d definitely come back and experience this again. The gift store was okay nothing you haven’t already seen somewhere else.

Friendly staff and lots of fun. The gift shop is well stocked and the tour was wonderful. The guides were very knowledgeable and the sealion/seal show was very fun! The kids enjoyed the tide pool for touching and observing up close. Lots of fun photo spots! Great experience for everyone with touching the shark as it swam around the shallow pool of water. In the bottom of the boat there is a great aquarium for observation. The diver was cleaning that day and it was fun to see him wave.

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day and we struck gold here! The seal show was so cute and fun to watch. It was so fun to touch everything in the tide pool. It's so cool to see animals swim right past in the underwater exhibits and of course petting the shark! Definitely worth a stop!
