I have been going to Four Paws to close to 15 years, the Staff are Kind, courteous and helpful. I am very sorry to hear they are retiring and closing down. We can only hope, that another Vet of the same caliber will buy and take over the practice. Blessings to all.

Did not wear masks during the height of the pandemic in 2021. Weird attitudes from the staff. Vet was rough with my dog, lifting her onto the scales by her harness. Glad they're closing. Enjoy your retirement.

The staff is totally pleasant, caring, and helpful (except for one lady). The veterinarian is such a sweet and caring person, and you can tell that he truly loves the animals and supports their well-being, health, and care. Thank you, Four Paws, for helping my pets! This place is shameless. We've been trying to get a appointment now since 2020. Not even a waiting list for any new patients. They should call themselves a private vet, because they are not open to anything close to the public. If you are not already a member. False advertising and don't count on them to safe your ill, critically I'll or dying fur babies, they Don't Care!!!

Good vet if all you need is a check up in order to get flea medicine. Also good for spay and neuter for cats and dogs. I have never successfully gotten an emergency appointment here, despite being a long time client. The staff is nice.

Ladies standing outside refused us at the door during the pandemic (2021) when my mother’s dog (a regular patient on heart medication) was suffering a cardiac emergency. Took her to All Creatures down the road and she was admitted right away.

I got a few of my pets altered here with the help of Del Norte Humane Society the staff is nice and attentive to the clients (furry and non-furry) they're very helpful too when you have questions and concerns they're also very thorough when checking in/checking out I like this veterinary office as well as my primary veterinary office if I was unable to bring a new pet/client to my current veterinary office I'd choose Four Paws Pet Hospital next

I have been going to Four Paws for over 10 years. I love Dr. Mark. I trust him with my fur babies even when we had to make the tough decisions. He has some long term Vet techs like Cora, Corey and Dee who are also amazing. Lately however, the front office staff as well as some of the newer technicians are not thorough or professional. I recently took my small breed dog in for a yearly booster shot. The technician was new to me, the other women were at lunch. He was not weighed, which is standard procedure especially when giving medication. I asked how much he weighed, she said, "oh I didn't weigh him," took him back again and came back with him to tell me his weight. I did not feel comfortable and in the future I will try to schedule only with the established/ senior staff.

As a new client, was able to schedule my pet's appointment within a few days. Staff is friendly & helpful; The doctor got a paw & thumbs up. Very reasonable costs for services. They also offer shampoo & more appointments. Very impressed with my first visit; will be transferring all my pets care here.

I have been taking my K9 Alex here for a few years. Recently had to bring him in to have some teeth removed. They are so good to my fur baby. Technician Cora is blessing, she is so kind and caring. Doctor takes time to talk to you and helps you understand what is going on with your pet. It is hard to get an appointment right away. They are very busy, but they do offer drop off if that is something you are comfortable with.

If I could give less the. One star I would. THRY ARE NOT A PET HOSPITAL. Walked in saying I'm worried my cat is poisoned sorry we're not taking new clients. What the hell kind of response is that I'm not asking for a grooming appointment!

Yes, like any orginization they have their share of positives and faults. The front desk staff (Dee in particular) can be very busy to a level of a controlled chaos. I note that a few times in the past my dog was very sick and needed help, somehow they squeezed me in the same day. The technical staff seem to be professional, however, I have occasionally experienced apparent lack of common sense and inconsistent laboratory sampling methods. The modern veterinarian profession? The Veterinarian (Mark) is the crown jewel of the office, which strikes me as an old fashioned doctor. He listens to the patents (the animal and the human), extensive knowledge and wisdom and ultimately he is compassionate. I wish my personal practitioner (medical doctor) had these traits.

The older lady at the front desk was so rude. I stopped by to ask a question about my dog. So if you ain’t a client they ain’t gonna help you period. Then look at you funny. Crescent City has a lot of people with pets and I would not recommend this place to anyone period.

We were in town on vacation and had a minor concern with our 9-year old golden retriever. They saw us less than 30 minutes before closing and checked our boy over. All was fine but it was nice to have him formally evaluated. We'd go back if the need ever came up again.

Very pleased with Four Paws. They were kind, caring & professional. Our cat was cool with them as well & not at all traumatized which really surprised us as she is very shy & doesn't care for strangers. I would recommend them!

Great pet hospital. Very knowledgeable and friendly place. I took my lab mix in for knee surgery. The doc was able to repair her torn ligament for half the cost of any of the other vet offices I looked into outside of Del Norte County. She is almost fully recovered and it has been about six weeks.

I’ve always received great service from the vet here and my dogs have always been in good care. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the front desk staff always seem to be stressed out. Over worked? Understaffed? Something. And that sometimes leads to not receiving great customer service.

Took I'm my rescue dog for nuetering. Felt welcome and office was warm and clean. My dog Earl seemed relaxed and comfortable. And all my question were addressed.Thanks four paws for the discount rate and helping to keep Earl safe from roaming

This establishment needs to fire the older woman at the front desk. She is very rude and unprofessional when I asked for assistance concerning a prescription for my pet. She was unwilling to listen nor was she sympathetic to the issue I was having. She shouldn’t be working in the customer service industry let a lone in an area dealing with pets which are like family so some of us. I will never refer anyone to this place.

I don’t like to give a bad review because this was our vet for the past 25 years. I thought he was an awesome vet but when there was an accident on August 18th we were told that he could not see our family dog until September 15th. She had spinal damage and a broken hip due to a car accident. We were told by the receptionist Dee to “call around”. She got in the next day with Town and Country in Brookings. She had to be put down due to her injuries. So she suffered unnecessarily until the next day plus she had to endure the ride to Brookings (25 miles). If that were my child (which she was our beloved girl), I would never go to that doctor again. I will never recommend this vet nor will I take my animals there.
