Some of the prices were great, but not all of them and that's to be expected. There was only one bottle of my favorite fabric softener and this particular brand has a safety film that must be removed before use. The last one was opened for...( I'm guessing a smell test) and they refused to offer a discount. So that is what it is, but that kind of business is not good business, especially considering my wife and I dropped $150 on a quick shopping trip and pointed out the fact that their ice maker was spewing ice all over the floor. Guess I was just looking for a scratch my back, I'll scratch yours kind of deal.

Seem to have most everything we need when we're shopping for work lunches and ho.e breakfast and dinner foods.. would recommend more diabetic friendly or sugar free choices....🤞🏻 And we like to see our friend Dave when we shop.... keep up the good work Dave

One of Colusa's only main supermarkets, and it serves us well for all groceries. Not as cheap as Walmart, but appreciated when you live in a small town.

Good produce with descent prices. Meat was on the expensive side. Staff was semi friendly, but efficient. They are completely redoing the front, but it didn't effect our shopping experience.

Being the only "grocery store" in a small town/city has it's good and bad. This location has improved drastically over the last ten years. However, the overall cleanliness in this store has not changed. The shelves are a layer of dust and the bottom shelves collect dust bunnies.I was exiting the store, and what did I see......a mouse ran across the threshold of the doors and scurried under a pallet at the front of the store. If there's one mouse, there's more.A focus on more fresh produce, better bigger choice of meats and seafood, and less home/hardware goods would do this place a justice.Overall, a place with higher prices but friendly and helpful staff.

Sav-Mor never has great prices. Things are ALWAYS ridiculously over priced. I’ll spend $300 a week here vs $70 at winco.. just saying. Their “sale” items, are still Safeway non club card price.. they want almost $10 for a digiorno pizza... that adds up quick

Be very careful buying dairy products here (milk, cottage cheese, etc) as they are often spoiled even if within the date on the carton. Just had to return a "chunky" carton of milk.

This place has recently made some changes. It's much more clean and organized like it used to be when it was a Food for Less. It seems so much bigger, and all they did was rearrange, but what a difference it made. It's worth a shopping trip, especially if you appreciate missing crowded places.

Eh, this store is only okay in my opinion. It's the only grocery store nearby without having to drive 30 minutes to another city. Produce is pathetic, they don't have a lot of items that I normally shop for in that department nor do they have a nice variety and it seems like they never have what im looking for. Gettng tired of having to buy bagged pre chopped taylor farms lettuce. Please stock a nice variety of fresh for those of us that prefer it. Their pricing for most things are somewhat comparable, but some things are more expensive, but again, by the time you drive 30 mins to a major chain big box store you've spent more in gas, so it's a toss up. I'll go here for a few items but I won't do major grocery shopping here. For some reason, I always feel like stuff might be older, like their produce for example, it just doesn't last as long from here. I do like their deli section with their roasted chicken and chicken strips and their fresh Pico de gallo is very good. Clerks that check you out aren't the friendliest, seems like their just trodding along, ringing things up to get through their work shift. They could be friendlier, after all, I'm spending money at the store their representing. Overall, not an impressive store.

The lady at the bakery was very very helpful and she has very good customer service. Some of the people there are helpful and some are just very rude.

Thanks for that No smoking sign some people ignore that I see cigars t the parking lots near the flowers saw one guy smoking near the rite aid Wich some kids should not smell or touch or smoke with cigar .

Well it's the only grocery store in colusa , most of the staff are helpful and friendly , it's a good spot to stop and grab some basics , but nothing other than that , the produce and fruit section is not that great , but they have alot of locally grown items , other than that not much to rave about except for the friendly front of house people , the butcher though is not as friendly (far from it) and never wants to cut anything for you so I guess they are not used to people buying from butcher I guess they just pick and choose whatever is available? Anyway the store is local so two star is about par for the store not great , not big, just a store , nothing much to rave about sorry

The nice thing about the Sav Mor is that 90% of the time their carts are in place. Some are out their in the parking lot, but overall the people maintain the carts and put them back well enough. Food products are all nice and cheap, respectable place of pricing and is very hard to get lost around the store. Customer service is not too bad at all, I only come by early in the morning so I can’t say the service is great because everyone is working to put products up early in the morning but everything to find your stuff is all sectioned and kept neatly placed.

Some prices are still ridiculous, this is a small community, people couldn't afford to do any major shopping here, I was just picking up a few things for another person...I did stop to compare a few things, and noticed...Milk for instance..a way better brand is cheaper even at the Dollar General, and Coffee Creamer too...just have to watch what you're buying. Customer service was good, and the store was well stocked and clean. Didn't see any available help in the Deli section, and no prices for individual hot items in the Deli....

The store in general is good.. I go like every week to get a few things since it's the only grocery store we have in town. I love ordering cakes from their bakery the girls do a good job but, my major issue is that it is so hard to get their attention when I want to make an order because everything is so covered and they could be busy working in the back while I'm standing there for 10 minutes waiting to see if someone will come out. I wish they would have a little bell at least to not have anyone waiting. I wouldn't want to yell for help either.

I’ve been going to the Colusa Sav-mor for a few years and it was just a basic grocery store until a couple years ago when the new store manager started, I believe his name is Jonathan the store changed completely, I know a few of the employees and they really love working for him and I can see why, I’ve gone in there to look for a certain product and they did not have it they gave me the option to talk to the manager and I spoke to Jonathan, he was able to order me in this product and started to stock it in his store, he let me know he was here to serve the community and make sure Sav-Mor foods keeps being the best grocery store in the area, very satisfied with his expertise and knowledge even for looking so young.
