Was for the first time in this store on MT. Vernon and had a blast even dough I lost 20 bucks but the crew in here are the best Dollar tree I experienced. Keep the great work definitely I will go back.

The dollar store is ok you can tell that they don't pay for repairs and the customer service I have experience has been good it's mostly the same 2 people (they are really sweet). If you expect everything to be organized and clean might not be what you want but what can you expect at a dollar store?

I shop here from Time to time throughout the week and boy I’ll tell you this is a quick stop and go store because it gets too hot in there considering it’s summer now and the sun is out. I was speaking with the manager there one day and she said the AC hasn’t been fixed for a while which is pretty sad. Hope their able to get some type of air circulation or a fixed AC.

I Went to this store yesterday 6/8 to be exact !Thinking i would walk into some fresh cold air and shop peacefully after being outside in the heat. I walked inside and was hit with more heat , i couldn’t even shop how i wanted to . I had to run in and out AND FORGOT SOME ITEMS. That’s how unbearable it was to be inside the store. I feel sorry the employees even have to work in that kind of condition. Please do better !!! Until then I’ll be shopping else where.

This is my home dollar tree, but unfortunately since November of 2021 they have not had working air conditioning. With the temperatures skyrocketing this weekend I fear for the shoppers and the employees. I will NOT be shopping here in protest until the air conditioning is fixed your employees deserve better!!!

Wow..I was here today and boy I feel sorry for the employees and us shoppers..the air conditioner has been broken since last year!! And they still can't fix it?? It's really sad that the workers have to work all day in those kind of conditions. I can't shop in peace because I can barely breathe it's so hot and stuffy!! I'm calling corporate to complain. You are so wrong to treat your employees and customers this way!!!

Omg, I went into store at 7:46 pm tonight. I literally was in there for 6 mins. I came out sweating, my husband asked you ok. No I wasn't, I felt so bad for the employees that work there. I came out hot and glowing. Can't even imagine working there for 4-7 hours. Employees were hot but still seemed to smile and be polite. Really 7 months and still no A/C. Come on management, how can you let your workers work under those conditions. Something needs to be done with owner of the building. City officials you need to visit there. Our only dollar tree in Colton, I won't be back during summer.

After spending years as retail management for major retailers I know when a store is struggling. Not on the general stores behalf but on the corporate side. My visits here to this Dollar Tree location has always been very pleasant only because the staff here have always provided excellent customer service that would have been an excellent asset to my store. What I also noticed during my visits here is that the store here is understaffed, both small and major repairs are needed, and remodel is needed. It's as if I'm walking in to a store stuck in the 90's. Again the staff and management here at the location are EXCELLENT! I do recommend this location to locals but I also recommend that this location gets the very well deserved attention it truly needs from corporate to be the best I know they can be 👍

Every time I go to this store, I am greeted with a "welcome" every time. To be honest, the store needs to be clean; however, that is the customers' fault. Another thing that I would like to see is more in stock items. On a positive note, the employees are very helpful and kind, and they do work even late at night.

I went to this store and it was so hot in there. I can't believe that a store would allow their workers to work in that environment!! It's not safe!!! I couldn't stay long because I felt like I was going to pass out. I will not shop here until the A/C is fixed. It is disgusting that they put their employees and customers at risk.

They Definitely need to invest in air conditioning! it’s so hot & ridiculous i have never been so uncomfortable in a store before but Jai was a GREAT cashier but they are definitely understaffed.

Unprofessional clerks a worker by the name of Jaia there who claims to be a assistant manager (I believe thats what her name was she was heavy set with some skin issues and tall ) I believe her name tag said her name was Jaia ) anyway she obviously was unfit and unfit to do her job, she was rude to not just me but to alot of other customers in the store as well. Alot of people left and didn't buy anything for her ugly attitude. She obviously needs to be re trained nobody is going to put up with that-

I love this store best deals but there employees aren't the greatest there's a few I enjoy the manager the guy he's a hard worker I always see him doing something ....the heavy set black women who says shes assistance manager is the shittys manager she's always rude ... There's three workers that are great I think there Denise, Brittney, and Alice she talks alot but she's great for customer service there store is a mess but it's because the customers definitely I always see them trying to clean up and it's impossible with sloppy customers so I don't judge them by that

So I love Dollar Tree 🌳. But this specific store is always so disappointing. Every time I purchase felt tip pens I get them home and they are all dried up. They had to clear every shelf of food items recently. Can't even buy a soda. Don't know why, the cashier wouldn't say. But one can only imagine!

Just left the dollar tree in Colton and had such a horrible experience, WITH THE MANAGER! ..... (Already knowing about their vermin infestation) I had went in for a picture frame. I get to the counter to pay, and there is 2 workers in the front. None of the lights at the cash registers were turned on to be able to see which register to go to, and I had noticed a woman already waiting at lane 1 in plain site of BOTH workers, but it wasn't until I walked up to lane 1 with her that one of the workers had said she can help you at lane 2. (REMINDER: no lights are on still) The woman purchasing items than goes to lane 2, and asks, "you guys aren't selling any drinks at the moment?" (Of course not knowing that there's a vermin infestation, this woman just wanted to know if it was all beverages not being sold or just the ones in the front) the cashier than says, "Well can't you see that it's blocked off, I don't know where you people are getting this from, and why you all keep asking if we're selling any food items. It clearly says DO NOT OPEN on the sign" (so of course me being the "outgoing" person I am I respond to her rudeness before the customer she was talking to does) and I told her, "So it was just a NO right? No, you guys aren't selling any drinks or food at the moment" she says, "Yeah, well that's what I said" .... I said, "Well you didn't have to be so rude about it. She doesn't know you guys have a bug infestation, and can't sell food" after that, there was a quietness until the customer left, and until i paid for my items. I had said what I needed to say to her, so I was just trying to pay for my items in peace, and leave. It was when she was giving me my change that she wanted to continue the issue she had with me.... so she dropped my change in my hand, and blank starred at me. Obviously upset at me, I did not get from her a "have a nice day" or "thank you for coming", it was just a blank stare. I than noticed her different color shirt from the other worker, and after about 3 seconds into her starring contest she wanted to start, I asked her, "are you the manager" she said "yes I am" I said, "wow that's so crazy to me! I don't know how you got this position while being so unprofessional, and rude with your customers" I'll make sure to leave that nice review for you on the receipt. Your name is Lorraine right?" She said "Yup, Lorraine with 2 R's. Tell whoever you need to i don't care" I said, "Got it, have a blessed day Lorraine with 2 R's" ....... So now I am here telling you all about the experience that the "MANAGER" loRRaine (two R's) wanted me to share with everyone. I am now going to leave my review, and call the person above her. Have a nice day everyone 🤗 don't forget to turn the negativity into positivity today, and respond with kindness instead of hatred.

They are always nice, polite and professional BUT I always buy my hair dye here and half the time the dye tubes are empty or there are two of the wrong ones in the box. I'm sick of it. I'm only going to 99¢ Only Store from now on.

Boxes everywhere in the store and the lady at the register did not want to put my items in my bag so I had to reach over myself. She had the biggest attitude as well. So unfortunate because I use to love that store.

Im always here,the service is ok, but the store is a mess. Boxes everywhere! update 8/5/17 wow the store was actually picked up i mean some items were on floor which i would tell my grandkids to pick up so no one would trip over them. Isles were clutter free except for back end corner right and left of store.

It was so hot in the store. AC needs to be fixed asap! I feel bad for the workers. I was in the store for a few minutes and felt like I was going to pass out from the heat.

Good friendly workers and service but the no AC is a killer deal. Workers who are going to be working there for the summer are going to go through a hard time and especially the customers wouldn’t really want to be in there because of how it feels like an inferno.

I called to see if they carried a specific item, the girl that answered was rude. She said we are busy and I should go to the store to see if I find it. That basically was the point I wanted to check if they had the item there, so I wouldn't waste my time or gas driving over there.

A shopping experience at Dollar Tree is always pleasant, Besides the bargains, the staff is always polite and they always welcome you as you as you enter, it can actually lift your spirits if your is not going well.

Was there today 1/10/19 the store was a mess and they have the same old junk. There was boxes that needed to be unpacked that were in the way so i couldn't get what i wanted. When i got up to pay for my stuff i trapped over something that was on the floor. I seen two people who wrok there standing around talking. They could have been unpacking the boxes that were in the way.

I was in and out. Store was busy but cashier was efficient. I bought three calendars for 2020. My whole trip was fifteen minutes.
