Really clean and has way more items than petco especially with fish related items, I usually buy most of my fish related stuff here and dog food. Biggest problem though is that they appear understaffed and a lot of the times there are dead fish. Has potential of better living conditions for the betta fish

They have a wide selection of dog food brands to choose from. The store was clean and didn't smell like animal like they usually do. This location also does dog grooming and vaccinations with Banfield Hospital. The employees that helped me were courteous and provided excellent service.

I'm somewhere between beginner to intermediate when it comes to owning fish. This store is staffed with knowledgeable and patient staff that taught me the basic knowledge that I'm not aware of, great advices and warned me some of the common pitfalls.

I was very impressed with how friendly and accommodating the staff was, especially Patricia. She really exceeded my expectations dealing with my puppy and being able to give him a full bath and groom. I know how challenging it can be to groom a puppy but she pulled if off and did an excellent job. She will now be our permanent groomer and I will be referring friends and family to Petsmart Chino Hills.

It's a good store to pick up pet supplies. You are at the mercy of what they actually have in stock. I needed a pet gate, and they didn't have many options. I also needed a harness for my puppy boy. They didn't have a large selection/variety on that. They do have a large selection of pet food and treats. They do have a section for an assortment of different pets from dogs/cats to reptiles, birds and fish, etc.

Took two dogs in for vaccinations. Elise was very efficient and helpful at check-in. She answered all my questions easily. The hospital team does a fantastic job communicating and making sure you are at ease. I always leave PetSmart feeling like they are everything I will need in a serious pet store.

From the pleasant greeting at the door until I exited the employees were very helpful. The shelves were adequately stocked, store is very clean and MOST DEFINITELY I highly recommend shopping for your beloved pet's needs and goodies here. The Banfield Pet Hospital is also inside this PetSmart store. It's worth checking out!!!

I asked for 5 little gold fish. It's 20c/eachThe store worker asked "what are these 5 fish for Pet or feed"? (people sometimes buy for feed )I said for pet.Then she asked "how big is your fish tank "? I said about 2 gallons.She said "it's to small for 5 fish because they will grow"I replied "thank you just give me 5 of them I will put them into a larger tank later " She said " it's not a good idea since you told me your tank is 2 gallons I can't sell you the fish because they are not going to be comfortable"I said "ok I will put them in a larger tank"She said " you lie to me you just told me your tank is 2 gallons I can not sell you"I asked " what about buying these fish for feed"?She said" that's ok because they are food for other big fish"I said " ok give me 5 of them for feed"She said " no because you told me it's a pet at beginning. Now you lie me again"I have no idea what's wrong with me?

Cashier had trouble ringing up my return but the manager took almost 10 minutes to come help. Then instead of helping she walked right past me and started ringing up everyone else instead. The Cashiers were great though and got it figured out. Still room for improvement.

Saw a roach run under the gondola on the bird and small pet section... The more I looked down to find it, the more I noticed how yellow, cracked and nasty the floor tiles are. The overall store looks like it could use a deep clean or shelving upgrade tbh. I've seen this place in better shape. Customer service wise, it was ok. People were polite.

Wow they have pretty fish here. Found some beautiful female betas here (I’m starting a fish sorority). Great products and the staff is nice. The (I think) manager was who loaded my new fish tank and had no one to help him and still got it done with a smile on his face. His employees liked him and it showed in the way they interacted with him. One of the best pet smarts I’ve been to.
