Honestly this is the best pet grooming place you can find. Don’t be intimidated by the presence of the front lobby because I have took my dog to 9 different places now and some I paid top dollar and still I keep coming back here. They de-shed my dog like no one ever could and my dog smells great for a week. Always fluffy, soft, and happy to be there. Highly recommend this place. They really love dogs and do a fantastic job.

After moving to the area..My brother told me about Dawns Pet Palace! The minute i walked in the door I couldn't help but Smile!! The place IS literally a Palace!! Wonderful Decor, and radiates Love, Fun, and dedication. And Dawn herself is also a delight. I 100% recommend Dawns Pet Palace ! Your dog will come home happy and at ease. 💙

Dawn is more than a dog groomer, she is a wonderful person. As a first time dog owner, I may have traumatized,my dog, and she was able to get him comfortable with the grooming process. She has always been responsive and communicative. She has helped me tremendously not only in grooming services since 2019, but she has helped me in my time of need. I am sad that I moved and hope to find another trusting and passionate person/groomer.

COME TO THIS GROOMER! The best experience I have ever had!. Dawn is the woman who answers the phone and personally greets you at the door. You call and make the appointment ahead of time and when you walk in it's obvious this is her passion because the room is DRENCHED in glitter and cute colors. It smells lovely too. She blew me away with the amazing traditional poodle haircut and hair dye that actually matches my hair. I thought she had fleas but Dawn said she didnt see any so gave Puffee a special skin treatment for itchies. The price was incomparable and Puffee was really excited too. I will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Dawn was amazing, I didn't think my 5lb chihuahua could have her nails clipped, we tried once before and were unsuccessful and she was traumatized for weeks by the groomer. Dawn was so calm and confident my dog immediately trusted her. She scooped her up and the job was done in minutes. Thank you!

I schedule with Dawn twice and only used her services once due to her canceling my appointment after I arrived. I was referred to Dawn by a coworker and at first she seemed great. After my first appointment all the services I asked for wasn’t complete. I was understanding being that life happens. I booked a second appointment only to be canceled on after I arrived. I live and come from Gold River. There was no type of compassion, discount or compensation offered for my inconvenience. I’m understanding that things happen but a simple call or text would have sufficed but I didn’t get that. I will not be going back and found a great pet groomer closer to home.

My long haired cat needed a bath I didn't want to get mauled again so I found this place. Cat appointments are 8am on Saturday's. My boy was freaking out about the dryer so Dawn let me know but was super nonchalant. Very nice and gave me tips about using human nail glue for the claw caps I use on my cats. Also only $35 for a bath! Decently priced and nice staff. Will be making this place my go to grooming salon.

Dawn is by far the best groomer I've found yet. I trust her and only her with my fur babies. I love how they get treated like family there. And how they get to run around and interact with other dogs all day when visiting Dawn's for their monthly grooming. It's great for their social skills. It's a win win .I couldn't ask for more. I had been taking my dog to petsmart to be groomed for years but then I was told that he was snapping at them and they wouldn't groom him anymore! I had no idea what to do so I started trying to contact groomers without much luck! Then I happened on a listing for Dawn's Pet Palace and called there, most places that I contacted never returned my calls! Dawn's actually answered my call and told me to bring him in the very next day! Dawn worked with him when I took him in and I left my boy with her and waited for her to call me when she finished with him! When I saw Sammie (my boys name ) I was very pleased with the way he looked! She bathed him and cut his hair short getting him ready for the Sacramento heat, trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears out and just did a great job! Her prices were less than I had been paying other places and I was very happy with everything I saw when I picked up Sammie! I'll be taking him there whenever he needs to be groomed and I recommend Dawn's Pet Palace to anyone who needs a great groomer!

This is my first time taking my dog to a professional groomer and they were terrific. It took longer than expected but I had never been to one before. My dog looks and smells so good and it didn't cost as much as I expected. The staff was friendly and you could it is a well run business and your dog is in good hands.

They are great , and have Done miracles with my difficult and too vicious to groom Pomeranian. They are the only ones other than myself my dog Lilo trust enough to groom him even the people at the vet clinics couldn't getthe job done . So Thank you so much see you very soon.

Dirty and looked like pink glitter exploded all over the place. I also didn't like what I observed of how she was treating the pets that she was grooming. She was overly rough. I was only there to see if an animal she was fostering would be right for me but I was very unimpressed with what I observed. I sure am glad that I wasn’t there for my pet to be groomed. I am also sure the lady means well but... she needs to handle the animals more gently. And clean up.

Dawn is the best groomer around, hands down. We have a goldendoodle and a maltipoo, so they get easily matted even with regular brushing at home. My dogs leave dawns looking fresh and get the perfect "teddy bear" cut each time. I will not trust anyone else but Dawn to groom my dogs. We recently moved to grass valley, and still make the commute to bring our dogs to Dawn. Highly recommend!

My Lhasa poo, Baby Suri, was taken to them for grooming at 1:30pm. I called at 3:00 and she was not ready yet. Finally they called at 8:30 to pick her up. She did not eat that night and the next day she was so sick that we rushed her to VCA and I found out my dearest was suffering from Pneumonia. I implored them to save her at all costs! She passed away at 10:10 pm the same night! I called the groomer the next day and told her what happened. I asked her why would she keep an elderly dog for several hours and how was she treated that she died right after?!! She could not give me any solid answer. I was so bereaved that I had no power to fight. I told her never keep an elderly dog for so long that will end in their death. I am not sure that she quite understood the significance of our dog to us. Suri was an extremely sweet and a beloved member of our family, her loss is felt everyday. If you care and love your dog DO NOT take your dog to them. Suri's regular groomer was Vicky's Pet Chalet, excellent place, unfortunately they had no time for her! I wish I had waited. One star rating is too good for them.

Although a bit startling when you get in the place (feels more like a home than a business on the inside), the aroma is pleasant. It's an excellent place to get your cats groomed hands down. My sister's cat had a severely matted fur and she managed to take it all off in a matter of minutes. I've never seen anybody handle her cat as splendidly as Dawn.Right now Charlie the cat is the happiest he's been in months. Thank you Dawn!

Okay these folks are AWESOME! I found them by happenstance and the took my furbaby that day for a nail trim, and offered to bath him the same day too even though I did not have an appt for that. They did things for my dog that PetSmart doesn't do and they charged less than HALF of what PetSmart charges. My furbaby STILL feels silky. I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone with a pet. They are genuine and caring people. ❤

Dawn is awesome!! I have 2 trained protection dogs and 1 puppy, none of which had ever been to a groomer before Dawn. I was a little apprehensive at first, but after watching her with my first dog I was completely at ease. Its obvious she loves dogs and treats them accordingly. I'll only take my dogs to her!!!Thanks Dawn for clean and happy dogs!!

Dawn is the kindest most amazing I have had the pleasure of meeting. After ten years of finally found someone who can trim my dogs nails. He screams and is such a baby people give up she took him right back wasn't bothered at all by his excessive talking and was done in 2 minutes. She goes way above because she is truly passionate about the animals i will never go anywhere else again
