We have been using Best Friends Carmichael for over 20 years. The staff is friendly and professional. They seem to love the dogs and take very good care of them. We especially appreciate that they know our dogs well and understand their personality quirks. When we have had grooming done, we have been very pleased with the results. We highly recommend Best Friends!

You can tell from the moment that you walk in that the staff and new management at Best Friends will do everything they can to care for your pet as if they were theirs, and also make sure that the owners feel secure leaving their pet with them.My dog has gone to Best Friends for awhile, and he always felt comfortable, but he has had a couple of recent health issues so I had questions about making sure he had the care he needed while he was staying with them while I was out of town recently. The new management-Marie and Caitlyn-were very caring and understanding both to my dog (which is especially necessary), but also to my questions and concerns. This new level of "human" customer service gave me a better sense of security and comfort that he would be not just comfortable, but extremely well cared for. Additionally, they have more staff now to give all pets the attention that they need throughout the day, so it isn't just given to the pets that have "special" needs.Thank you for your exceptional service, and especially for your care for all of the pets you are charged with!

Everyone has been really kind and supportive while looking after my puppy, Charlie. She's always excited to play with new and returning friends here, while gradually getting over her separation anxiety from me and my family.Plus, they took some adorable holiday pics of her and gave her a free bandana for Halloween and Thanksgiving. ❤ I know she's in safe hands everyime I drop her off and pick her up.

Ever since the new staff st Best Friend's Hotel on Garfield Ave in Sacramento, Ca my dog doesn’t come home and throw up. Whatever they are doing it’s working and I find they are concerned about my dog. . Great new staff. 5 star.

Our miniature Australian Labradoodle loves doggy day care at Best Friends. He's 2 years old and has a ton of energy, so we're happy to drop him off to let him play with other doggies. They also groom him there, even through he's a difficult customer.

I was informed that Julie no longer works at this establishment. She is the only reason why I take my pups here for boarding and grooming. I’m saddened that I will now have to find another place to take my babies to since Marie & kaitylenn aren’t really friendly upon check in. This place will no longer feel the same to me and most definitely my pups.

My dog tends to be a bit skittish around strangers and likes to stick to my side. He loves this place so much he pushed past me just to get in the door. 10/10. Best place ever.

Sweet nice folks. Our 3 dogs all enjoy their stays here and are very relaxed, even eager to get dropped off. Knowing that our furry family members are enjoying themselves makes it so much relaxing for us to take trips without them!

I’ve been taking my pup to Brianne for hair cuts about six months and we love her. She is very skilled at her work. I also like how she is straightforward, kind and professional. I value her insight when she gives her input on my pup.*I don’t recommend this day care or boarding facility for puppies or dogs needing socialization.

My new puppy lovess BFPH. They care and want your pup to have the best experience. Aumira, my 4- legged-luv-pup never wants to leave. She comes home calm and way more chill also. Today she went to doggy day camp (in the photo). She's never been happier. So glad I found this place. ❤️

I love the staff at Best Friends! Buddy is always welcomed with love and understanding . He gets to play in the water which is his FAVE thing to do in the world . The staff are amazinggg! Can’t say enough about them 😀Highly recommend for a stay short or a long one .

I always get sad when inhave to board my dog, buy it makes me feel better when I leave him at this place because he seems excited to stay in. When I pick him up he is always in a good mood and clean! The staff is very nice and attentive, I have no complains, is the one place where my furry baby always stays.

This place is fantastic! We have two dogs and two cats and use them every single time. They are super responsive by phone and email and always go above and beyond to take care of our furry friends. This is the best of the best! They take such great care of my dog. Staff is outstanding and knows how to take care of your fur babies. Always keeps you informed and what I like best are the trainers. Ever so patient with the owners who is actually getting trained!Dogs know what to do, its us that need to be trained. 😀😀

Definitely recommend for cat boarding! My Junior was there for 6 days and he is home, happy, healthy and not freaking out. The people were so nice and accommodating to my high energy kitty.

Nice wash from basic employees but Sunday manager is very disrespectful calling me (without a hello) yelling I NEED TO pick up my pet with open wound(splinter in 1 paw) in the voice of a demon 😈...and with same voice in person as I picked him up, she threatened to overcharge me...I had to calm her down telling her that obviously it was from him constantly digging, chasing voles in my yard and that I am looking to get him seen at vet's office ASAP but that I don't need to be yelled at like I put the splinter in myself. Definitely not returning if all of the management assume the worse in that manner...not cool...I love my doggie and gonna find a vet that's available ASAP as he deserves

I trusted Best Friends to care for my loved pets. I was not disappointed. They were left in the care of Best Friends Pet Care for 4 night/5 days. When I picked them up I had to wait for the groomer to finish up with their bathes. I'm glad I had to wait. I was able to see several pet owners pick up their pets while I waited. Every dog that came out looked happy and healthy. My dogs both looked clean, smelled clean and were very happy. I will trust Best Friends to care for my pets again.

I've been bringing my three dogs here for several years. They have great boarding facilities and grooming on site. My dogs were being groomed this time. Best of all is the staff. They are very knowledgeable and caring. They love their jobs and our dogs as well.

They did a really nice job grooming my dog last week. She pretty much hates receiving a bath, so she ends up not getting one as often as she should. She was pretty filthy when I brought her in. I also wanted her to be shaved pretty short for the summer weather, and so that finding fox tails would be easier since I've found many on her lately. She came out smelling great, and her hair was trimmed very nicely. The price was only $48 for a 45 pound, medium sized dog. Thank you, Best Friends!

I have been taking our dogs to, first Kennar and now, Best Friends, for years. Extra friendly staff now and reasonable prices. I feel comfortable letting the lovely staff groom my dog. Thanks to everyone who is supporting this small business. Emailing the is an excellent way to keep in touch.

I needed a kennel for 2 golden retrievers on very short notice. They had room, showed me around the place and were very helpful and friendly. Our pups did really well while we were away and it was such a relief knowing they were being cared for while we were gone! We got cute pictures of them with the kennel employees sent to our email while we were gone . This was our first experience ever boarding our dogs and it was a great one. Very easy and much more affordable than I ever thought.
