Spacious roastery with indoor and outdoor seating that serves coffee, pastries, and sandwiches.Food: The breakfast sandwich was tasty and normal size. The iced latte was decent. Maybe their regular coffee is a better choice based on other reviews.Atmosphere: There is spacious indoor seating and a few tables outside.Price: Fair price for the food and drinks. They aren’t expensive.Parking: Street parking is available in front of the restaurant and along the store fronts.

Where the local goes. Can get unlimited refills for coffee for $3.50. Medium and dark roast available (but the medium was better). They offer breakfast sandwiches, BLT and bagels. The bagels came with a huge portion of cream cheese. Scones were tasty. The owner was friendly and recognized me every time. There may be a line but the service was fast.

It's a cute place with food you would expect. I can't say anything that stands out as particularly good nor bad, from the food to the coffee to even the pricing. It was quite busy on a sunday morning when I went, and after getting a brewed coffee I noticed at the self-serve station there is no non-dairy milk alternative. It was such a rush and I'm OK with black coffee so I just had that, but it's disappointing to see no non-dairy options at an upscale coffee shop in 2024. Maybe they just happened to be out, or maybe you have to ask and pay extra, but the fact that there was extra friction and you find out after buying it being told there's a self-serve station seems lame to me.

It was a long line but don’t let it deter you as it goes by fast. The breakfast sandwich was good, cooked to order. The strawberry fields smoothie was tasty. Would like to taste there pastries next time. Outside parking, decent indoor seating.

This is my first time in Calistoga and we decided to get coffee. In line I saw some gum that had some funny things on it. You wanted to be funny and call me out for touching I buy. So funny Clive I forgot to laugh. Then you proceeded to ask me how many I wanted to buy and I said I don’t want buy anything. He then stated I have sticky fingers. I don’t know you and how you run your business but you were rude and not kind like the reviews state. You think being funny is saying rude things is funny! Not cool nor will I ever recommend anyone to come to your establishment! You suck !

Great place for coffee and a light breakfast. And a good laugh as well. Clive is old school funny. Even when he got some customers that are stuffy and cold he would treat the very next one as though the first one was family. No worries and awesome.

Older woman with long hair at register. I placed order and said that would be all. She asked about a second drink. I sa8d no thanks you thats all. She said what about a drink for your friend. I made a face after being badgers so. The worker ra8sed her voice aggressively at me and said IS THATA PROBLEM. Unprofessional, rude, aggressive service. I grew up in the service industry. If you can't leave ur problems at home it may be that you don't belong working here since all workers were so friendly and helpful. You can do better. Owner - studies show of one person takes the time to write a review, there r many others who feel similarly but don't bother. Further studies show 80 percent making decisions from online reviews.

Clive is one of the friendliest, genuine, and generous blokes you'll meet. After ten days in the states Clive's coffee and service is hands down the best I've found.Great bloke and amazing coffee, cheers!

Charming, down to earth, local breakfast and coffee shop with excellent quick bites, glorious breakfast sandwiches (YUM!!), plenty of space (inside/outside) for casual lounging, and lovely Staff!The coffee is also outstanding and as the name suggests, is roasted in house.Both locals and tourists frequent this place and it has a great, friendly vibe.If you’re lucky - the “Englishman” (he may be the Owner?) will be the one to take your order! He’ll have you smiling from ear to ear with his witty, too-early-in-the—morning humor and laugh-out-loud dry sarcasm. He’s a gem and we look forward to bantering with him every visit.The Roastary is a Calistoga classic!

I got an iced tea and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich is your usual English muffin and sausage and egg - but it tasted really good. The egg wrapped around the sausage and there were onions as well.

Worst cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. Coffee taste burnt. Milk wasn’t foamed properly. They charge you 3.99% for using your credit card. Have to be better places. I roast my own coffee in AZ. If I had done a roast like this it would have gone in the trash.

I recently visited Calistoga Roastery and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The sassy British man who owns the cafe is doing an excellent job in running the place efficiently with his team while also adding a touch of warmth with his entertaining personality. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing morning.The bagels at Calistoga Roastery are always fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend trying them with your favorite coffee or latte.Calistoga Roastery consistently outdoes Starbucks in terms of quality and taste. There's no question why this cafe has become a favorite among locals and tourists.

Stopped in for a couple of iced mochas and they were delicious. We also had a few baked goods and they were good too. Very reasonably priced. It was pretty busy when we were there, but the line moved quickly.
