Most everything I encountered in Avila beach was wonderful. Beautiful beach and golf course, great little restaurants and very scenic terrain. Lots of walking trails and I was there for two weeks in July, the temperature hovered around 72 degrees every day.

Love the Avila Village Woodstone Marketplace, located half way along the Bob Jones Walking/biking path. Woodstone has charm, great coffee, goodies and lunch items. Their patio is marvelous,l great for viewing the action on the Bob Jones.

The Bob Jones trail goes right by this little place making it very convenient for a quick bite and drink. Have fond memories of the market and the wonderful sandwiches they offer. Last visit was dissapointed by the lack of a restroom despite spending mad bank on lunch for my wife and I. Thankfully the athletic club was kind enough to let me use theirs. The cashier was visibly perturbed about something and treated us accordingly. Very short tempered and annoyed to be inconvenienced by customers. Change the attitude, open up the restrooms to customers and we will consider returning. Hope this helps anyone interested in visiting this beautiful location.

Natural reserve, fun beautiful place, Bob Jones trail, streams, wildlife, hike, food at Woodstone. Highly recommend. Take out your trash please and be mindful of people walking on trail. Alert people if on bike or skates that you're coming.

Fantastic place for short steep hike, wonderful Sycamore plants, very scenic and at the top, panoramic view of pacific. This place is unique, not crowded, super relaxing. Good eateries there too. Like to spend more time there.

Quaint place fronting a very nice beach, there is a park with showers & clean rest rooms on one end. A walkway allows for strolling the length of the beach front. Most of the businesses are food or wine related & these have outdoor dining facilities.

We love the deli and the market. Great place for a quiet lunch. Immediately accessible to people walking the Bob Jones Trail.

Hay ride, animals, ice cream, fruits, pies and more. Also if you like taking walks, the Bob Jones Trail is right down the road! I might also mention it has bathrooms if you are on a long trip.

Love taking the bikes to Avila for a ride along the ocean. Then ride through town and down to the Bob Jones trail to sit at the banks of the San Luis creek.

Resort area, and great venue. I have seen weddings at this place and it is no wonder,,, the grounds and area is lush with vegetation and is very well kept like a resort should be.
