Bought a Great Northern flat bed from Tyson at Auburn Sundowner this week. He was very instrumental helping us choose the right bed for our needs. We shopped around for months and though this bed wasn't "exactly" what we wanted, we felt that giving business to him felt right. Thank you Tyson and all of those that helped mount our new bed! I have purchased two trailers from Sundowner. The first experience was so good, I was a repeat customer and purchased my second trailer from them in October. I had a good idea of what I wanted so checked stock online. Website was easy to use and to locate the trailer I wanted. I sent a message requesting the price out the door and quickly received a response. Price was great so arranged to visit in person. Sundowner thought of everything. The trailer was completely ready to add a horse. Tie downs, hay mangers, and a water storage were all included. They helped get me hooked up and made sure the trailer was at the right height. My truck was new to me and came with a built in brake controller. They taught me how to use it and to adjust it. They answered all my questions, even some random ones I sent later by text. Hands down, best customer service. The trailer fits my needs, is well designed and constructed, and hauls nicely. My horse seems pretty happy too!

We pretty much knew exactly which two-horse, slant-load Trails West horse trailer and features we wanted. There were several models on the lot and Beau from Sundowner patiently helped us compare the features – water tank, windows, even the type of hooks in the walk-in tack compartment. We finally selected a trailer but then changed our minds when we noticed the one we initially selected did not have windows in the rear doors. Oops, those windows are an important feature we wanted! Beau, Heidi and the rest of the crew at Sundowner were the epitome of customer service and made the switch without hesitation. They prepared and checked everything out for us before connecting the trailer to our truck, including recommending a heavy duty hitch, much better than the light duty one we came with.This was the most helpful, convenient and friendly purchase of a trailer or vehicle we had ever made. We will be back for service and any future trailer needs. Highly recommended.

I intend above rating to reflect that my problem with relatively new brakes has not been resolved after $650 into process.Pulsating brakes not resolved. Disappointing that this could have been identified prior to my traveling to pay and pickup, so that next steps might have been better planned.I now await a warranty claim to Lippert, characterized by Beau as “nothing to show them.” Possibility of problem with magnets never mentioned. I have reviewed Lippert warranty and owner’s manual in detail to guide the process.I remain confident that an effective and fair resolution will be found.Thanks for your concern and attention to satisfactory solutions.

I like the owner he was super helpful. Then he handed us off to one of his sales represenatives.. I felt as though I was not that important. And he said he will review my list and will call us later??? He did call us later, after my husband and I ordered a new custom trailer at another dealership in the ElkGrove area. I would suggest having the owner help you through the entire process. That would have made me stick around and maybe order what I needed from them.

Tyson has to be the most patient, fair, knowledgeable and generous owner of any place I've ever dealt with when it comes to trailers and RVs. If you are looking for quality service, excellent communication, and great prices- with employees you can trust and depend on with your investments/ trailer/ etc- look no further. When I asked around for the best place to have a trailer moved and worked on, 3 different places recommended them, and I couldn't agree more.

I called to inquire about a broken window on my trailer and they quickly scheduled me an appointment and had the part in stock. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I bought my trailer from this Sundowner location four years ago, and only have taken it to this location for service. Every year I do an annual inspection, and make sure to take care of everything so everything‘s in top order. Last time I brought my trailer in, they accidentally ran into it with another trailer and it needed to be taken to the shop for repair. I appreciated that they handled this professionally and take care of all the cost associated with it.This year when I brought my trailer in, they had no record of me making an appointment. Even though I had been in contact via text with the repair service about my upcoming appointment and need for specific repairs, they kept insisting that I had made an appointment for last year. They were able to fit the trailer in for service, thinking it would be a quick turnaround.Three weeks later they contacted me to say the trailer might be ready. Unfortunately, they never did the yearly service and safety check, which means they needed to have the trailer for a longer.The new service gentleman although friendly, did not listen to my concerns- I often had to repeat myself multiple times on the phone about what I wanted and needed done with the trailer. He even asked me if the window on my trailer ever worked? To which I told him, yes… I bought the trailer brand new from them, some thing I had told him repeatedly. I feel like there should be a service record, and sales record that they could refer back to. Just so frustrating.I wish there was somewhere else I could take my trailer that would service Sundowner. I really don’t like this location, as I’ve been repeatedly disappointed with their service.

Came in to get an estimate for fender damage caused by a blowout. Found out the bearings were bad as well. Worked me into their busy schedule and replaced bearings on all 4 hubs in about 2.5 hrs and made the fender functional. The trailer had just been inspected by trailer shop in Okla before driving to CA for Tevis. Good service and a fair price

Sundowner makes it easy to purchase a trailer. They have many to look at and many to choose from. Ian and the rest of the team were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend purchasing a trailer here. I’ve also purchased a replacement axle years ago and that experience was good as well.

I purchased a utility trailer from Sundowner Trailers, and was very pleased with the service and price. I found the trailer on-line through their website and I got a prompt reply to my questions. I picked up the trailer the same day. They were friendly and efficient and even though it was busy, I was in and out in under an hour. They took care of all the DMV paper work as well! Based on my experience, I would highly recommend them.

My family was traveling through California from out of state and our trailer lights stopped working (as did our brake controller). Some friends in the area recommended Sundowner. They got us in on a Saturday and in less than 30 minutes they had our problem fixed and we were back on the road for a very reasonable price. Super happy with Tyler and they team! Highly recommended!
