I always love going to this store. They have good prices and the produce is fresher than other stores, the only take away is the cashier, Rosa (with the gray hair) is always super rude. She took the time to greet the lady in front of me and even talked about her recent vacation to Hawaii but once It was my turn she didn't greet me didn't say a word but to ask if I needed bags. This isn't the first time she's rude to me & my family from now on I will go to ANY other cashier or do self check out.

I would give five stars, but the cashier was so rude, which was unfortunate. She seemed very friendly and kind to the customer in front of me, but I believe the customer was also an employee. She didn't even say hi to me or even look at me. What upset me most was how she treated my mom and how she basically threw a bag of groceries at my sister. Shame on her.I'm guessing her shift was over and she was frustrated to have to finish ringing us up. I apologize for also taking a call while she was ringing up my things. I know that is also frustrating for a cashier, having been one myself. But I meant no harm by answering a quick call. I was still nice and thanked her for everything, hoping she would change her attitude. She didn't. I wish I could have gotten her name or spoken to a manager. She was older and had straight white/pale hair. I love shopping here for the good deals, but I really do need to start using the self check-out only. It is rare when I get a truly friendly cashier here. I wish people were kinder :(

On this adventure to Save Mart I actually paid all my attention to my Great Niece and Nephew as I shopped it was a very pleasant and great quality of products . Had everything I needed plus a little extra something for the kids. Sorry I can't give a honest opinion on this trip. Like always Save Mart was great .

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday which was to be picked up Easter morning (today at 10am). My husband picked it up only to find out that it didn't even have my sons name on it. The cake was suppose to read "Happy Birthday Dominic & Grandma Shell" however it read "Happy Birthday & Grandma Shell." My husband asked the attendant in the bakery to correct it and she did add my sons name. However, it looked absolutely ridiculous. He told her that we would not like it and if there was any other way she could correct it. Per the attendant it was the only way to fit his name on the cake. So when my husband got home and relayed the message to me I called the savemart bakery and nicely explained to the lady that we had paid for a service that was not correctly honored therefore we should get some sort of credit. The lady on the phone told me to go to the store and talk to Alexis who I assumed was a manager. I showed up to the store and asked for Alexis who turned out to be a worker who took out a $10 bill from the register and said that's what the manager said to give you. The whole experience was very frustrating and everyone that we dealt with was rude. I was highly disappointed as I have never had such an experience at this savemart. My advice would be not to order anything with customizations from this bakery because if by chance they make a mistake, they will half fastly correct it and send you on your way. The cake now reads "Happy Birthday & Grandma Shell & Dominic."

I've been shopping at Savemart Atwater since it use to be where the 99 cent store is. Lately I've been coming and getting nothing but poor dis respect ful service. First from an older man. Today was an older lady cashier RUDE! Very sad poor service here. I would expect from elsewhere but here. They are ruining it for me. I had a 4 star rating before now no more! I'm complaining to corporate. I wish your manager in charge would deal with them being impolite to customers!!! Today I go around 11:30am and a lot of the aisles were crowded and packed with employees blocking the aisles with carts, I could barely get thru to shop and I only weigh 145 so it shouldn't have been difficult but they blocked half the aisles I couldn't even shop around.Customers deserve better!Those who work here choose to,so have them respect customers.Don't block aisles. It's unprofessional, looks bad 😞

Can’t use coupons on the app. The app is useless because it won’t let me sign in. They won’t send me an email to reset my password and don’t answer their phones when I call. So basically I’m screwed when it comes to getting discounts. The store won’t honor any coupons on the app if you aren’t signed in.

Great store , but it seams like every time I come in for hot food there is none they say and it seems like I am bothering them . I came in for an 8 piece of fried chicken, clearly there was at least 20 pieces and they said there was none , that it would be 10 to 12 minutes. Not a big deal but it seems like I always leave with something I don't want instead of what I came in for

The store is always well stocked ,the staff is friendly and helpful. I went in a while back and was freezing cold. A kind gentleman who worked the freezer section went and got his jacket for me. He told me to leave it with the cashier and he would get it back. I wish that I was able to THANK him again. He went above and beyond for me that day. I don't know of anyone ever doing that for someone. I'm on oxygen and was trying to get what I needed & go. The prices are higher than the stores in Turlock but can't always get over there. I must say that they have killer sales and seniors discounts on Tuesdays.

Clean, all of the bakery staff is always so helpful. Asking if you would like help finding something or getting anything for you. Their cakes are delicious and perfectly decorated. Even if you find a cake on the floor the are always happy to put anything you want on it. And so easy to call in over the phone for a cake order.

This store should really think about purchasing new mobile carts. It is "'NOT" the most handicapped friendly store in the Area. The carts rarely work which is why I don't go there unless I absolutely have to. I will drive to the Turlock Store 16mi away when it's not urgent! ☹

Savemart is my favorite store, but the deli is lacking talent. I ordered a sandwich and the young lady working 1st initial D. Probably never made a sandwich in her life. She didn't even know how to spread mustard. Went back to get chicken today and it was all Terrible, guess who was making it. So disappointed. Train your employees or don't hire these young individuals who don't know ANYTHING!!!

I love this grocery store. They are more expensive, but have a deli a butcher and great produce. The workers are always helpful and friendly and they even offer help out still. There is plenty if parking and a security guard for the shopping center but there are a few homeless people hanging out in parking lot so you should be aware. At Holiday season they offer Christmas trees in parking lot and tons of decorations and

Save Mart is one of the main grocery stores in the town. It has a good variety of items. The store is clean and everyone is very helpful. If you don't find what you're looking for, just let someone know and they will definitely help. I do wish they had more gourmet items, as I've seen more in their stores in larger cities.

I've been here a few times and never really had the "great customer service" that Save Mart advertises. However, today my mom and I had a really rude cashier and bagger. My mom had tied her bag that she had put her apples in (a loose tie). When we waited in line, the two were friendly to the "white" person in line, but when it was our turn they were rude. "Your apples are different." "Oh. Uh yes, you can open the bag." But she already scanned her apples to the highest price. And on top of that she charged us a bag we never asked for! We only had a few items! Then the bagger made a rude comment really loudly. I just didn't want to start anything so we paid and left and will never set foot here again.

I like shopping at Savemart Atwater the best. Merced is a good store also but the grease from Deli must be old as it smells up the store. I get neauseated. I sure wont buy the fried chicken there. Grocery part is good. Clean, stocked when inventory is available, friendly, courteous

Save Mart is just your a place to buy food. They have the same food as other stores do. There deli department isn't much to talk about. Maybe they favor the cake department. They have sea food that you can smell from 40 feet away. Yeah fresh. Their customer service is good if you been going there for the last 40 years. But for a first time visit you don't even get a hello. That's enough for now. Gotta go. See ya.
