Parking can be tight but worth the trip if you're in need.I got a placemat for my dog which I had been searching for but haven't stumbled upon.They offer free complimentary coffee and have a ton of options for toys, food, bathing and health items for your pet.Not just dogs, but small critters as well.Will return whenever I'm in the area.

This place is a bit pricey, but knowing my doggos get the best nutrition is worth it to me! I recently used their self-service dog wash and that was a great experience, too! Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful shop and folks here. I love exploring local pet shops whenever I travel, to take my pup shopping for some treats. (Hey, he deserves a shopping trip too!) For this trip I also needed to find a calming aid since I wanted to give my pup some relief from travel anxiety. I was given really concise, attentive and thorough information to pick the best product. I went with the Ark Naturals happy traveler capsules (which worked fabulously!) I also asked if they had any store branded gear. They have tshirts for humans and the cutest bandana's with their logo stitched on for the pups. Thank you for taking care of me and my boy. He's easily the most stylish he's ever been with his new bandana!

1000% support local businesses especially this one. The staff all need a raise they are extremely knowledgeable and help you pick products that are good for your pets and also affordable. They can educate you on how to do raw diets, I go here all the time they have high quality food for my dog that’s cheap she’s so much happier and healthier and because the food is so nutrient based you’re able to feed less cups so even if it’s a bit pricier than popular brands you end up saving more money, they have cheap raw meats for sale, they have products that are also local businesses. They use a reward system which is great. They also have a dog washing station I believe it’s just $10 bucks I haven’t used it yet but they also do a reward program for that too and supply all the basic supplies like shampoos and towels. Absolutely love them!!!

The staff here actually really care about animals. I'm so sorry I can't remember the name of the person who helped me but she has blue eyes and blonde hair. I'm so sorry girl! But literally she spoke to us for 30 minutes and helped us pick out new safe kibble for our dog along with some CBD and as you can see stomach powder. We have been trying our dog on these products and it's been such a great respond. Thank you so much sincerely for helping us when we had a tough trip. Really also Togo says thank you too 🖤

My go to for self Serve dog grooming, they provide dog shampoo, towel, brushes and blow dryer with enclosed tub. For the price and what's offered, I'll keep bringing my pup there for his bathing needs

We received a free dog wash coupon from them at Friday Night Market in Eureka. It said walk-ins or appointments but I would recommend appointments. They have one tub and since we have a large dog our walk-in ran into an appointment. Sorry! We rushed out so staff could clean for the next person but you know that not all people will. If your dog is small you may be able to wash faster and a walk-in might be ok. Our German Shepherd is not small. LOL.The wash includes only 1 towel to use and a limited amount of grooming products. This is probably fine for small dogs but not for large ones. We brought our own special shampoo and shammies because we kind of expected it. If you are unable to bring supplies from home they rent extra towels at $1 each. I'm not sure about a price for more grooming products.Since we mainly wanted to save our backs but use our own stuff, this was very helpful. A raised tub with a ramp made everything so much easier for us.On our way out we picked up a nice, large smoked pig ear, that our girl carried to the car ($2.29 a piece before tax). She walked away clean and happy.

Going in every time is such a wonderful experience with helpful and knowledgeable staff. They also carry great food brands and have a huge selection of treats and toys. Be sure to check out their doggy bath area with provided supplies!

I couldn’t say enough nice things about this pet store. I get all my pet stuff here; food, leashes, leads, toys… and I use their self service bath regularly. The people who work here are the kindest, most helpful you’ll find and always go above and beyond to answer questions and help you with what you need. One time they even stayed open 10 minutes late when I called because my cat had been hurt and I needed an emergency cat cone till I could get him to the vet. They are always smiles and so sincerely helpful. Plus their products are competitively priced, even compared online! Best pet store hands down.

Awesome pet store! I stopped in here to grab some treats and toys for a new pup, and the employee at the counter took the time to get to know my new pet's breed, name and needs, and set me up with their new pet program. Just for signing up, they gave us dry food, wet food, a food topper, treats and fish oil. Amazingly generous and I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Very helpful staff. I needed a cat feeder last minute and this was the only place that had one available.I was greeted upon entry, and asked if I needed help finding anything specific. Usually I would say not yet and look around. This time I was in a hurry so I said yes. The staff was knowledgeable and led me directly to what I needed.Another helpful experience here, was that I was able to use my Google pay. That's always a winner for me when I don't have to go in my purse.I did feel like I was a valued and welcome customer. I will be returning for our regular pet needs.

Great store and staff. I have been in a minimum of 2x a week, sometimes daily, as a part of my dog’s walk. She had friends on staff she loves to go see - after the awful dog abuse we experienced at NorCal Pet in McKinleyville that resulted in vet visit and meds for the poor dog, I was worried and my dog was so traumatized and fearful it was heart wrenching - and this awesome staff is helping her regain trust in other humans again. THANK YOU for all the help and kindness and for never hitting and hurting my gentle sweet pup.

I really love this pet store and have had a mostly great experience. I would have given 5 stars if not for feeling a little shamed for wanting to feed my dog a grain-inclusive dog food.I hadn't been helped by this person before. He asked why I wanted a grain-inclusive diet and I said affordability and that I've been reading about recent studies coming out about dogs getting incredibly sick on grain-free diets. He told me grain-free was the best, there was nothing better, but showed me the grain-inclusive food after.Not a really big deal. I just felt judged for having another opinion.

This is my favorite pet store of all the pet stores I've been to. The staff here are passionate to help you, and the store is huge. One night they helped me find the perfect size jacket for my dog 5 mins to closing, and today I called them to say my cat isn't liking the new food, on account of being out of our regular bag. If it's 15 days since purchase, and more than 50% of the bag still remains, they will swap it for another food. Very happy for this, because they restocked with my cats fav and now we can go swap. They are also the most knowledgeable staff I've ever seen when it comes to the ingredients in their pet foods, and was happy to share their info with me which ultimately helped me find the cat food with the highest meat percentage. Was able to find better quality food that's cheaper than what I got at Petco. Saved at least $1 per can. Lots of discount opportunities and they have pet safe candles! Definitely recommend.

These guys are excellent. The employees always take the time to talk to you about anything you need. They helped me find a solution to my picky puppy's eating issues and now she loves food! Amazing pet food selection, in my opinion best selection of quality ingredient pet food in Humboldt County. Prices reflect the higher quality ingredients, but worth it. Also they are very kind and give case discounts.
