Nice shop, been taking my dog for 3 years now even through the pandemic. Always call ahead because walk ins openings are rare. Prices are good. Pics are before and after.

Such a great mom and pop shop owned and run by an elderly Japanese mom and her adult son, Ben. They are always so professional and timely. They are reasonably priced and so gracious. Happy to support local small business!

Wonderful mother and son owners who have groomed all of our rescued dogs over the span of 10 years. Marsh and Ben do not cuss nor do they yell. Beware of reviews claiming they do so. The work they do is great and they are the sweetest people. I highly recommend this business.

First col pets salon gromers my dog wisky I've been taking my dog, Wisky, to First Col Pets Salon for grooming for years.They always do a great job and Wisky always comes home looking and feeling great.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always take the time to answer any questions I have.I highly recommend First Col Pets Salon for anyone looking for a great grooming experience.

The owners are very friendly. They spoil our dog. He always comes out feeling soft and smelling wonderful. We like they they style him. Their prices are reasonable. They will even brush teeth if you ask.

The workers here are wonderful. The owner always remembers my dogs and me, and it's apparent that she and her son care for them. The first time I came in after one of my dogs died, she asked by name where the dog was and offered condolence when I told her.The washing and grooming is top rate, too! None of the nicks we saw when we went to other boutique places or big box stores.

Not a good place at all unless you want your pet to be scarred. Animals need to be cared for. Just because the dog came back the way you wanted them to doesn't mean they were treated fairly. Keep the emotions of your pet in your mind. Anyways, these people did not provide the correct service that was asked of and instantly was told to pay more than the original price. I don't know about these other people who say they've been coming for years..(maybe that's why they treat them better. It's because they'll stay.), I've heard around also that businesses pay others to positively review their business. I wouldn't trust reviews most of the time. Please find your pet a better place to be groomed. Consider their well being.

Very patient with our dogs who are all shelters. One of our dogs gives all groomers a hard time so it's a relief to find someone who can not only calm her down enough to be groomed but doesn't always come back shaved. Have always been fair and respectful to me and my family.

Very fast, very nice and very inexpensive service. We got the full grooming service with a gland check; it took 15-20 minites and was only $25. Our dog is normally quite fussy and hyper, but when I came to pick her up she was so relaxed and zen.

Very good work at very reasonable prices. We take our Shiba in every couple of months for a bath, nail clipping and anal gland expressing.The work is always good. As of March 2021 they charge $28, plus a nominal $5 surcharge if our pup is in Hairpocalypse mode (excessive shedding which happens about twice a year).The speak japanese as well as english. Small family business.

The very best service ever. Have groomed my champion Bichon and his cousin for YEARS. If Marsh was rude the person who received her words must have thought they were in another country where people who provide service are treated poorly, being rude to her. Marsh is a gentle professional as is her son. I would NEVER go anywhere else no matter what the price.

This place sucks! I took my puppy here and she had a cut next to her neck. The monster that brought her to me gave me a lame excuse that she was too wiggly, what in the world does that mean.. TOOOO wiggly, she's 4 months old and the sweetest little puppy, she's very calm wherever she goes or wherever she is at, but they over charged me cause supposedly she was too wiggly. NEVER EVER WILL I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. I found a nicer more pet friendly groomer a bit further but at least my baby girl is happier.

I ask for a trim for my dog and its was going to be $30 but when I return. I ask for a trim but she was shaved NOT trimmed. And it was 60 degrees here outside. My Dog is full blown terrified. Plus she was limping. She was NOT limping when I brought her there. She was wimping like she has never wimped before. I will Never and I mean NEVER EVER take her back there again. They are evil cold hearted cold blooded monsters who pray on pets and pet owners and abuse our babies/pets. I will never ever go back.I gave one star but I want to give 0 stars. But it wont let me.

so the building and location isn't the best looking, but who cares!! twinkie is happy, he comes home looking just how i ask for, my wallet is happy its super reasonable, they are THE nicest people EVER!its so nice to support local business (not some corporation of the 1%) and people who actually care about your dog (its not just their job, it's their passion), people who work hard and deserve your payment.(idk about that other negative reviewer .. grumpy old man.. somethings def up his)

They are rude and very disrespectful to their customers and clients(the pets or as most would say, fur baby) they harassed a customer in front of my mother and demanded the poor guy to pay extra! They scared that poor guys dog so much it's amazing they are still in business. My mother will not be coming back to this place as she is scared her dog will get hurt. Please find another place for your pets.

Nice people, good service for a good price. Most places will charge you $45 for a haircut, nail cut, and ear clean, but they will only charge you $35. The location doesn't look great but it doesn't matter to me. i will def go back.

There are few small businesses left where you can go and get the kind of customer service and sincerity like you will receive at First-Col. Marsh and her son Ben do a wonderful job with our animals, are always accommodating, and deliver a great product for a fair price. You win’t be disappointed!

Publically harassed a customer. He got yelled at repeatedly. Shaved the poor dog bare, visibly terrified. Demanded customer pay double than the original cost of 35 dollars initially stated because dog was harder to groom. Worst buisness.

I have been taking my daughters Chihuahua Poppers for years here and have been so blessed to have found such a wonderful kind professional and not to mention excellent grooming skills with over the top customer service...I have brought Poppers in many times no appointment late in the morning and they have never turned me away..I also have a pit bull Colt who is very dog aggressive, multiple skin issues and they have set aside time after hours to trim his nails for me on many occasions...I will be a customer of theirs as long as I own dogs!!

I don't know. I saw a video where a lady here completely shaved a dog down when the owner just asked for a trim, hurt him while doing so, and charged him extra.

Very rude insulting and unprofessional attitude, wanted to charge me for the services not done on my Dog, should learn more manners to deal with people, Certainly there are plenty of good grooming services around, they are not the only one!!!
