We set up yesterday morning in this Walmart's parking lot to take pics of the total eclipse. The Walmart manager and the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing, inside and outside the store. The manager came out and was so friendly and supportive. We even got to meet the town mayor! Way to show love and godliness in this day, Walnut Ridge. We're south of Nashville, and we don't see a lot of love like this anymore in TN with so many transplants moving in, so thank you!! Much love!

I went to the store advertised as Walmart in Walnut Ridge Arkansas to purchase 4 Verizon phones and plans for my family and was refused service. I ask to speak to the manager after a while I was told by the manager (name tag said) MICH that HIS STORE IS NOT A WAL-MART, IT IS A #1 STORE and if I wanted to purchase the phones he had there at the same price he had them listed for I would have to go to a WALMART. MICH suggested I go to Jonesboro AR or somewhere else to a WALMART because his store is NOT WALMART, IT IS A #1 STORE. I left without making a purchase and went to Cricket to get phones.

A super neat little Walmart with a super wide clearance selection. I stopped by on my birthday to see about getting some new clothes and the fitting room employee made me very uncomfortable by standing there and staring as I went in and out swapping clothes. She started huffing impatiently and when I said she didn't have to stand there she snapped that she has to. I'm a loyal Walmart customer nationwide and I've never had an employee straight up stare as I'm going in and out of the fitting room. Made me and my partner very uncomfortable.Editing to addEmployee's name is Lynn.my partner ran to the restroom as we were swapping she (employee) reached in and locked and closed the door stating she had to go to the restroom as I told her my partner was about to use the dressing room.Another employee accused me of stealing for pulling off a tag that was cutting me in the hoodie I had picked out to purchase. I was right next to the register waiting for my partner and was shivering cold. I had made no attempts to walk out and was made to feel like a thief the entire time I was in this store. Zero stars for the employees

So I have always loved going to Walmart in Walnut Ridge until the last 2 times I went and it’s literally all because of their “secret shopper” or their “asset protection” employee. He is actually a CPS worker for Lawrence County or was I have no idea, but I have history with him & he knows me & knows I do not care for him. Well Everytime I am in the store he follows me EVERYWHERE and he is so obvious about what he is doing & im literally doing nothing wrong at all. Like isn’t he paid to find shoplifters? Why in the world is he following me? He has also done the same exact thing at the Pocahontas Walmart. And the Walnut Ridge one but both of those times I was alone. Today was the 3rd time he has done it to me and it makes my shopping experience miserable and makes me not want to come back especially when I am not doing a thing wrong. And today he was leaving the store. I heard him telling people bye as he walked past me, and when he saw me he came right back. And today it was so creepy, awkward, & weird that it made my 14year old daughter completely uncomfortable! She told me to start screaming that there was a strange man following us and being weird, but I explained to her who he was and even she said that he is not doing his job correctly. It was myself & my 2 girls ages 14 & 4. He followed us very obviously to where the hygiene items are and just kept staring at myself & my 14yo daughter and so then I go to the checkout and I did not have very many items like $36 worth and he followed me to the checkout. So I sent my girls outside before me, because at this point, they were freaking out thinking some strange man is following us & plus my anxiety was extremely high, and I was extremely nervous and scared, and felt as if I had done something wrong when in fact I did not. So then, my daughter tells me that he actually comes to the door after I am outside and is pointing at me speaking with another associate, and then he proceeds to pick up his phone and watch me put my things into my vehicle from the like corner window in the foyer, and it creeped me out so bad that I backed up to where my license plate did not show, and I flew out of there without even buckling up because of how I was made to feel for absolutely no reason at all. My husband already will not go in to the store because he feels singled out by the person standing at the door because they will let 10people go out without saying a word but then check his receipt and items. Why? Because he’s a big, tattooed, bearded guy!?!? Come on Walmart you gotta do better then this. I will be contacting corporate. And I’ll take it all the way to the top need be! I remember going into Walmart as a little girl with my mother and it being like a fun happy experience. Walmart was where I did all of my grocery shopping and regular household shopping but when I am made to feel like I felt today, I will not be returning! If you guys are going to pay someone to do a job maybe you should make sure that person is actually doing the job because I’m sure there was somebody shoplifting in the store at that time (and that’s sad that’s the world we live in) but it sure wasn’t me or my girls & your “asset protector” was clearly not protecting the assets & was more worried about what a mother with 2 girls was doing!

Worst Walmart I have ever been in had to go get my debit card because Walmart pay didn’t work and because they didn’t see my in the parking lot after 5 min they started putting my stuff back. I was in a lot of pain and was parked at the very edge of the parking lot because we were in a semi truck. And then didn’t even bother to offer to help ring everything back up or bring the tv back up front for me.

This place is really nice! You can find just about everything here. I like going shopping at this Walmart because it just feels so nice. It has an easy to understand layout which I absolutely adore! I'd say to go here for your general shopping needs! It may not have every grocery you'd like, but it sure has as many as it can offer.

Normally I'd give this store 5 stars because It's a small town type of store it's great if that's what your looking for. However in the last few months I have noticed the staff is starting to act like everyone are out to steal something. I was buy clothes for my son and doing some calculations on my phone to be sure I didn't go over budget next thing I know I'm surrounded by 6 employees within touching distance all just staring me down it was strange so I moved to a different location as to not feel like a fish in a fish bowl and they continued to follow me "discreetly" meaning bluntly obviously so I checked out and left. I would have spent more money and not stole anything had they gave me my space to do so. However they made me feel more like prey being stalked than a customer’s who's just trying to do simple math to see what else I can buy

Went to the auto center at our local Walmart ( Walnut Ridge). Stood behind another person who said “ I guess we will be here for awhile. All along one of the service tech was looking at all of us as though to say I wish you was not here. No, we will be right with you, just a stare down. Not my first experience like this at this store. Guess what, Walnut Ridge did not get my business. I went to Pochontas Walmart store. Service done very happy. If Sam was alive today he would not be happy with his employees.
