They are a fantastic veterinary clinic! They are really an all stop shop, they do grooming, overnight stay, veterinary clinic and more! They took care my baby Zero (Maltipoo puppy), they gave him his shots, sent him home with SEVERAL types of expensive food, and a photo keepsake book for your loved ones. They are a great all stop shop. The vet and their staff cares about the animals, not just about money, and THAT'S the reason I'm staying with them. Thanks for everything!

They took care of my baby boy Zero when I first got him. They have him all that he needed there, and sent him home with different types of food for him, a milestone book, and gave him free flea and tick medicine too. You can tell that the vet actually cares for the animals, it's not all about the money, which is how it should be. They also do grooming, daycare and do much more! They will be my all stop shop for my pet!

Fabulous, absolutely fabulous! Doc and his wife are both a pleasure to interact with. Outstanding staff. Could not ask for anything more from an experience with a veterinary clinic! You guys are the best a doggie mom's like myself are truly grateful!

They are friendly and great vets. I feel like they are little pricey compared but I could be wrong. All I know is they take care of my dog when I take him there and that's all I want.

I wouldn't go here if they were the only vets left on the planet. It was years ago, but from all I've heard, they haven't changed a bit. I took my dog in to have them give him a pill, from my vet in LR, that he was refusing to take. Omg, from there it was like a hostage situation. They scared me into believing my dog needed lots of testing and treatment immediately or he'd die. A week later, my husband had to fly in from work and walk in the back and carry our dog out as they would not let me have him. I've never seen anything like it. Horrible horrible people.

FROM THE LARGEST PET TO MY ONE LITTLE CHICKEN:) We have buy my son 16 chickens from a online hatchery 15 of 16 are doing great except for this one runt without regard that seems to have upper Respiratory's infection. His name is midgets son is 10. And this is a great way we feel to teach him Responsibility and I didn't think midget was going to make it . . But couldn't afford to buy a lage Large quantity of medicine because that's how it's sold here in town I don't need enough for one so I called Town & Country and the veterinarians himself Spoke with me and told me to come down there and he sold me just enough for my one chicken and took the time and cared ..THANK YOU TOWN AND COUNTY

Our golden retriever puppy came down with a mystery illness with fever and lethargy. Dr. Kaufman was very thorough and kind. He truly cared about our puppy and our family. Super grateful for their exceptional care of our dog.

Puppy was brought to vet due to diarrhea for the past few days, one day there was a little blood. Puppy has been on antibiotics for 1 week for a skin issue- likely the cause of said gi concerns, my daughter just wanted to be certain her puppy was ok.Town and Country did not allow my daughter in the exam room with her puppy (weird to me I’ve ALWAYS gone in, only exception during Covid)Told her his temperature of 101 was “very concerning” (normal is 101-102.5 🤔)Texted her “his positive parvo” test.Their suggestion to his positive parvo test was simple some iv fluids and antibiotics and for him to go home… why on earth would you send a parvo positive puppy home??My daughter made the decision to seek a second opinion, whomever returned her dog to her did NOT like that one bit, and scoffed at her. Maybe it’s because they knew he was not positive for parvo.Town and Country Vet is disgusting and clearly full of trashy humans.

Took my husky in after a dog fight, they loved on her and was so sweet to her. Poor baby was dirty and bloody but they made her the princess for the day! She is home and resting ! AND the pricing was more than fair.

Amazing people, fantastic care, and just the best vet in town. I cannot express how thankful we are to the team at Town and Country. Often, at Vets, everything is the parents' fault, even if it’s a naturally occurring thing. Here, it’s just another step in the pet life journey. I am thankful to feel welcomed and accepted and know my dogs are getting the best care possible. It’s affordable, it’s quality care, and Town and Country is now my only choice for veterinary care.

So far I have no complaints. They helped us get our dog back health from parvovirus after another vet here in town was willing to let our dog die. Now he’s back thick and healthy.

Please see edit below.Friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to take the time to explain what needs to be done and give options if available. We didn't feel like we were being rushed through. Fair price for services rendered. You might be able to find something cheaper, but I'm sure you will sacrifice care and service. They made sure that our dogs were completely cared for and that we understood everything. We finally found a good vet!Edit...After our initial visit that was very pleasant, follow up visits were not such an enjoyable experience. One lady there is downright rude. She couldn't explain why there were additional charges for a spay. We were quoted $250 for the procedure but nobody said boo about additional medications and blood tests and an e-collar. $650 instead of $250. Subsequent visits have been similar. Dog had a couple bumps that I wanted checked out. Told it was $59 for an office visit. During the visit, the Dr decided she needed the hair removed from her ears. No mention of a charge, no asking if that was acceptable, just took her in the back and did it. $20.50 for that. He said the bumps were bug bites and he would send me home with some medications. $118 worth as it turned out! I haven't given any of the medications to her and the bumps cleared up on their own a few days later.IN MY OPINION they are overcharging for things that we didn't even need. I feel like I have been deceived and taken advantage of. We will be seeking services elsewhere.

I took my husky here today knowing it would probably be bad. Our vet was out of town. When I say I have never been more disgusted with a place, I mean it from the bottom of my soul. I was told by the receptionist that if I made it after 11 it would be an emergency visit. We walked in the door at 10:30. After making the decision to end his suffering I went up to pay the bill and questioned the fee since we were there in plenty of time. She immediately starts getting loud and so rude. I did get loud back and told her my dog is laying in the floor dying, have some compassion. She walks into the next room and YELLS at me. The female vet who was also rude comes out and tells me to settle down. The rest of the staff were compassionate but I’ve just never seen anything like that in my life. To the little blond receptionist I pray you never have to go through what we were dealing with and have someone treat you so rudely. I was sobbing when we entered at first and she never even offered tissue-another patient literally got up and came over to offer me tissue.

I took my dog to them cause she was in labor Wednesday and Thursday. With only 3 puppies born she was still trying to get the 4th puppy out. They were the only vet clinic that would have veterinarians in. I took her in and the lady at the front desk talked to us like we were stupid. They charged us $1500 and wanted us to pay the next day. I understand that people have screwed them over in the past and that's why they expect payment at the time services are rendered. However they were gonna keep my dog until payment was made and even sent a letter of abandonment because I couldn't pay the whole amount. We came up with some of the money and they let us take her home. We will never use that place again. I am however grateful they helped my baby out.

I have a cat that was attacked by 2 coyotes 2 days ago. He was in horrible shape when I took him in to Town & Country Vet.Everyone there has been fantastic from the moment we walked in the door.They have done a great job in helping him and keeping us informed. They even took a video showing his progress and sent it to me. They are absolutely the best.I highly recommend them. Professional & Caring.

I took my female fur baby in to get spayed called before setting appointment for price was given one price over the phone getting there found out all this other stuff added to it. Price went up more. Now mind you I know my baby wasn't in heat either which costs more apparently. When I left I asked what exactly it was going to cost in total. Picked her up the next day cost went up more and was told she was in heat like I wouldn't know if she was or not but had to pay more and then some. They just kept upping the amount every time. Plus she is a friendly loving dog she didn't even want to say goodbye she dragged me basically out of the office. She doesn't even do that at her vets. She got home and acted like she hadn't had any water in a while. I will not recommend this place to anyone and will only be going back to get her stitches removed after that I never want to see them again. Only went there cause regular vet was booked up for months and so was others. My mistake should have waited apparently.

Very RUDE and has NO SYMPATHY! My 9 year old mastiff has a spinal cord injury, and cannot be moved. I called to ask about in home euthanasia, and they said they provide this service but it is hard to get the doc out of the clinic. DR. Jeana Kaufman, later called to tell me they could send a couple techs to transport her into the clinic for euthanasia, but they wouldn’t come to the home. I appreciated the offer and started to explain that I was awaiting a response from another vet who might be able to provide in home Euthanasia, and I would like to accept her offer if in home euthanasia was not possible with another vet. However, I didn’t even get out “thank you but I’m waiting to hear..” before she said, “oh okay thank you goodbye” and hung up the phone. She didn’t not even let me finish my sentence. So rude and obviously does not care about people or pets. She just wanted my money, which she will never see a penny!

We love Dr Kauffman and the staff at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. He is the ONLY Dr we trust with our fur baby, Bella Boo. He had treated her since she was 6 weeks old. He is always available for her. The best in the River Valley area.
