There not the big retailer and have smaller stores, but they can save you a trip to town when you need just the basic essentials at a reasonable price.

In the last 6 weeks I have experienced management telling me twice that “the store is closed” well before the store closes at 10pm. A few weeks back it was about 10 minutes early…tonight it was closed at 8:50, a full 70 minutes before the closing time. Dollar generals are really vital for less-populated, rural areas, and patrons drive for miles to get necessities. This is completely unacceptable.

I love having a Dollar General just 6 miles from me, since I live out in the country. These workers go far and Beyond their line of duty. It's always stocked, clean, friendly folks and great prices. I ❤️ Dollar General! Your sales are awesome!!!

Dollar General is everywhere. They are convenient. Usually have what I need.

The workers are just standing around, yet they still need a minute before they check you out. They are ALL rude. They never have anything stocked, but if you pop your head into the back room, you will see that its in the store. They just won't put it on the shelf.

At this point I can't even give dollar general one star. We are in the middle of a global pandemic and my question is how can a company not require employees to wear masks or require customers to wear a mask? I mean really is wearing a mask such a problem if you care about your community? Of course its not! I will never shop at any dollar general store again. Without a star given dg won't accept the post so without earning it I will give them their star.

The employee was very helpful. Didn't have one of the things I wanted but did help me find a phone holder for my car. It works great.
