The majority of the refrigerators are usually always shut down, which means less food options to choose from. It's ALWAYS difficult to navigate down the aisles because there is ALWAYS a huge cart waiting to be in boxed and put on the shelves. It seems to never fail that the main thing I needed when going to Dollar General is almost always out of stock (or it's still on the huge carts waiting to be put on display. Needs a bigger variety of food choices.

The manager Bre was absolutely amazing, extremely helpful as I was trying to exchange an item I knew nothing about. She was prompt, walked me through the process, got the item I needed to exchange for and the whole experience was absolutely hasstle and stress free!

I am ONLY givinf this a 5 for the lady that was working. She was the ONLY one working, it was EXTREMELY busy. Poor girl,but she did a great job, made everyone show ID's for cigarettes, very professional. Other than that the store was exceptional considering only 1 person was there..

Staff is mostly pleasant, and another customer actually asked how I was doing yesterday. However, beware of canned sodas in the machines - was duped into paying the price of a case for one drink, and when I went back to correct it, was called a liar and told they don't sell canned ones, and I must have taken it out of the case.

Worked for this company twice and left on good terms both times. Came in one evening and one of the ladies there in the evening accused me of stealing a chair while I was standing in line, right in front of a bunch of other customers. She said a lady I guess who was a customer saw me the night before take a chair and put in my car. I asked her what kind of car was it the kady said it was, she said a Nissan, I told her I don't drive a Nissan I drive a Honda which is outside if she wanted to look at it. Then proceeded to tell her I don't steal and it wasn't me she had the wrong girl. I have never been so humiliated and embarrassed in my life. I don't steal never have and never will. Also, I am pretty sure I remember the rules they are suppose to go by when it comes to someone stealing, and no matter what unless you catch the person and see them with your own eyes actually stealing, your never suppose to accuse a customer of stealing. Never suppose to confront someone unless you see it happen with your own eyes. Then even then I think your suppose to call the police and still not confront them. Anyway, I will never go back in this dollar general again and am going to speak to the general manager Monday.

Like most places right now some items were unavailable or had only one or two flavors of certain things that usually have several. It's not the fault of DG, it's literally every retailer's problem right now. I will say DG had more in stock than alot of other places in my area, though and they're always helpful and friendly.

This is one of my 'go-to' DGs. Small but stocked full of just about every & any thing you might need. If you want to get in and out pretty quickly, this is where to go. Now they also have self-check!

I love the people who work here. Always helpful and this store has all my needs for school lunches and quick thinks like bread and milk! I hate big grocery stores. I wish they had more meat options lol, so I could avoid the big stores!!!

The most worst dollar store I've ever been to.i said that a year are too ago.today I say the same. This dollar store is the worst. Never has any thing in stock. Always very good service. But it's not the employee's fault. And I appreciate them.but they really need better management. They need to close.

The manager is filthy most of the time. She's rude and stays on here phone as she checks her customers out. Not a good example for the employees if you ask me. My most recent unpleasant experience was a situation where I wasn't given all of the items I purchased(she was on the phone). Since it wasn't a big purchase and only required a couple of bags, I assumed I had everything. I walked out of the store and started walking down the street. Did she even make an attempt to inform me that I left a bag at HER register? Nope. So, once I got home and realized I didn't have everything I called and confirmed it was indeed still there. I walk to the register and she tells me to wait(she was on her phone). I tell her I was the one that called about the items left, she picks up my bag while staring at her phone and says, "Her ya go". Not a, "Sorry about that" or "have a good day". Just a damn "here ya go" while staring at her phone. I've worked in retail for 10 years and it's unbelievable that she's a manager. A secret shopper will have her fired sooner than later, I imagine. Oh and the store is always in shambles btw. There's also a 40% chance that they will be out of whatever it is you're shopping for.That being said, there are two employees there that are ALWAYS pleasant to deal with. There's a woman named Kelly who is wonderful and a larger black lady with glasses(sorry I don't have a name but she's great). I imagine once they can get good leadership the store could be a good one. At present tho if you're just dead set in going to Dollar General, you're better off driving a couples down the road in Maumelle and shopping there. They are hardly ever understaffed and their shelves are always full.

We all know the clearance event is going on this weekend. There are items that aren't in some of the clearance aisles, but they are being discontinued. I went to a total of 4 dollar general's yesterday, and it was my second trip to this one. My morning visit was amazing. Terrence did a wonderful job. My night visit was terrible. I had some items that were being discontinued, and they should have been marked 10% at least off already. They were then supposed to be an additional 50% off, and I knew they were not ringing up that way. Daysha I believe was her name was very sweet, and she listened when I told her about the situation. Some of the items with clearance stickers weren't ringing up half off. Tisha decided that because they had an asterisk they were already reduced correctly, but they weren't. I even pointed out I had gotten a pillow that was marked down to $5, and it rang up $4.5. That isn't 50% off. She even said right it should be $2.5. I was trying to point out the things that were wrong, and I did not want an additional 50% off of the items that were correct. I wanted that items that were not to be corrected. There was a decent line behind me, and customers were talking about it. Tisha said it wasn't Daysha's fault that it was mine. Honestly if Tisha would have started checking out people when I first got in line instead of being on her phone the line wouldn't have progressed. (While on the clock I was always told you should never be on your cell phone, but I guess it was more important than trying to solve a situation rather than creating one.) She was mumbling under her breath and shaking her head. She was also glaring at me, and I did apologize to Daysha, but she knew what I was trying to say and she told me it was okay. You never have an employee tell customers that another customer is the reason for the line when you the employee aren't doing anything to help fix the line. You were just rudely saying it was because of me. Terrence had rang up my items that morning at that store correctly, and I do not see why she had such a problem with it. Some people do not like to be wrong, but maybe she will learn we can't always be right. I spent a total of $140 between 4 dollar generals yesterday on the clearance event, so obviously I wasn't trying to steal money, or just be rude and want it even cheaper as Tisha pointed out to one customer. I even tried to show her receipts from my purchases earlier in the day, and she said "if another store was changing or overriding prices they were not supposed to"....that was the whole point of the clearance event was to change the prices and make sure that they were the right price. I was very nice through the whole situation, and I never hollered or made any remarks bad towards her or anyone in the store. I even brought my buggy back after loading everything into my car to help her because there was no buggies in the store at all. I only tried to be kind because you get more with kindness I thought, but I guess I was wrong...I was wrong the whole time according to Tisha. BAD CUSTOMER SERICE is all I can say!

Was not allowed to purchase what I wanted on store credit. It had to be approved per their self claimed "ASM" even though the money stays in the store. Just unbelievable and not logical!

My car got hit in the parking lot. People just drove off & left me standing there trying to get a license plate number. The cashier was untrained & a bit rude.

They are reasonably priced and small enough I don't have to walk a long way for items. Check out can be slow when busy.
