Having been born in the early 1980s, I caught the tail end of the Cold War. This has inspired a lifelong interest in this time period. This Kroger is an incredible re-creation of a Cold War Soviet grocery store. Here is a list of items that have been out of stock over the last month:1) Green Bell peppers2) Broccoli3) Cumin4) Unsalted butter5) 2% milk6) Tomato puree7) Apple sauce8) Parchment paper9) Chicken breast10) CarrotsAnd much much more.To really heighten the experience of being in the USSR, the staff seem to think customers are at best an inconvenience to them, at worst, a group of people who should be sent to the gulag.Spasiba, Comrade Kroger.

This is a very popular grocery store. They often sell out of groceries and have empty spaces on shelves. I have to look closely at their produce as I have found mold on berries here. There is a often a long wait to check out however the employees at the self checkout are very helpful. The bathrooms are very dirty. They have the most convenient pharmacy to me. The pharmacy staff is always helpful. The pharmacy closes for lunch so be sure to check their hours before you plan your trip.

Be flexible on your pick up time for online orders. Got to the store and mine wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready until after my window. Instead of waiting around to come back, I did my shopping myself. The person who "helped" me told me she would cancel the order. She didn't. Now I get to wait 4-6 business days for a refund. Waited on hold for 25 mins just to find this information out. Sloppy service.

The employees are friendly, but they never have your online order ready. They always claim they didn’t get it and have excuses. No matter how soon you order it online they never have it and state they didn’t get the order. You can’t even call to confirm because they do not pick up. There is no point in having the option to order online with “The Heights” for the deli/bakery.

This isn’t usually my normal Kroger of choice, but it was close to my parent’s home. Nothing super significant, but it had everything that I was looking for, and I was greeted extremely pleasantly by almost every employee I saw. That’s really all I can ask for from a retail store. It really made my day better.

It's ALWAYS a problem here, when it comes to the Money Center/Customer Service booth. Its either closed or machines aren't working. Besides that, stock is low. Its been 3 weeks since I initially came to this store, and it's STILL out of toilet paper. There are more security cameras here than humans to work the lines. Speaking of which, there's 3 self check out lines but only 1 will ever be open.

Nice looking store, very well done, wonderful selections. The layout is definitely five stars they also have security on site here as well, parking is a bit difficult because it’s very compact, that’s really the only complaint about this place, other than that it’s top-notch.

If you are ordering sushi online from Kroger....Especially from the one on Polk St.... don't bother. It won't get to you. The employee who make the sushi leaves as soon as they fill the counter. The other employees in the same area refuse to help. I guess Kroger is to stupid and cheap to actually hire enough people to work the sushi counter.

After dark they close entrance to one of doors. Guess to stop shoplifters. Always friendly staff, but too often not enough checkout people. Guess similar problem at most grocery places. Love that they have a bin so we can put plastic bags in to be recycled. Deli quite nice.

Poor Kroger although I think Kroger makes a lot of money - their staff is nice and helpful but there's rarely enough of them- they have good food but seem to have a lot of trouble keeping shelves stocked- I was raised within a mile of this store and came back to it when we moved back here 30 years ago but they have problems that Edwards down the street don't seem to have- must also add that Kroger pharmacy is top notch

It’s 10:50 and the security guard yelled out “WE CLOSED” I said I thought you all closed at 11pmShe repeatedly said idc idc we are closed! I’m highly disappointed.This is my go to Kroger and to be treated in this manner is unacceptableI literally took a video of her laughing in my face

If you have a question about western Union and Cindy picks up be prepared to get hung up on then not able to get ahold of a manager because she wants to play games with people. Homegirl is rude and unprofessional. However Cherie at customer service is a gem!! She gave excellent service and is very personable! Fire Cindy and give Cherie a raise!!! She earned it!!!

Extremely Racis, bad customer service. I'll not be back forever. I was followed by a security man although I didn't do anything wrong or steal stuff but they treat me like that. Just because I'm Asian. Hope all staffs would have a better life to Racis all Asian people they want.

Miserable inside. 2 human checkers and 1 row of self checkers. Self checker had 6 people with 10 waitingHuman checkers with 3-4 people waiting.I seldom come here anymore for this reason. The Only reason I stopped is there were and still are lots of parking spots available. Used to be no parking and long lines, now it’s plenty of parking and long lines at the check out. Looks like the word about the lack of timely service is getting out. At least they are consistent.I had to leave, couldn’t wait.

Why does this affluent store have stocking occur, aisles full of boxes, can't navigate cart, at 10:45 am on a Busy Friday?! Greed. No other reason. Evening stockers and great management are non-existent. When Aldis arrives, I will do all my shopping there & Trader Joe's and scrap this dirty mess. The days of the Kroger monopoly are over, finally.

If you want to experience the checkout from hell, try this store. The overseerer/helper stands staring like you are stealing them blind, while you are doing another employee's job. If you ask for help, they vaguely wave in the direction of the screen and promptly walk off so you can't bother them again. Looking around for help is useless since they have hidden in some aisle lest you find them and ask them to actually do their job. Two women in particular are unhelpful at best and actually rude. Artificial intelligence would be an improvement over these two. Never use the self checkout; always go to full service where the employees have been trained and are polite.

This location’s pick up is terrible. If you check in on the app, they never come unless you call and they covered up the number to call on the sign so you can’t call… so basically they could care less if you ever even get your order. They also forget something EVERY TIME. They need more employees and better customer service. I gave this location multiple chances because it’s so close to our house but sadly, we will have to drive further to a different location from now on. The manager of this Kroger should be ashamed.

Good store, but they should have an employee always posted at the self checkout to prevent stealing (upstream, preventative measure). Last week there was a man who chose a self checkout counter that wasn’t working well and pretended to check out. Just put his chips bags in the bags and took them out with him, without bothering to pretend to pay. He was very nervous so I kept an eye on him discreetly.

I attempted to purchase a cart of drinks. I typically use the Kroger on Chenal which always ask me how many of each kind and to leave the drinks in the cart.As I was finishing with the clerk, two employs, Terri & Lisa, decided to hassle me about why the drinks were still in the cart.It became a big ordeal. They even called security over. This is NOT how you treat customers. On a plus note, one of the other cashiers pushed the additional cart the "hasslers" used and helped me get my groceries to my car. I tipped her.If my employs treated my customers like this, they'd be gone in a heartbeat.

Staffing issues are everywhere, but the customer service desk should always be staffed. The lack of attention to detail is apparent throughout the store. Leaders need to show how to work by example not “do as I say, not as I do”.I refuse to use a self checkout if I have more than one or two bags to fill. That used to be 2 jobs, now I have to do both checking and bagging??? No thanks. I hope you take the time to address the issues everyone is thinking about.

I rely pretty heavily on curbside pick up for health reasons, and I had to wait about 40 minutes or more to get my curbside pick up. It was really bad

Western union always closed. They are supposed to be open from 8am-9pm per what is listed and I drive up here at 8:30 am and they aren’t open. People have business to handle and no time to wait on this ghetto Kroger. The store manager Miss. Paylor needs to get this store and her nasty attitude together.

Love love LOVE this store. It is always clean and everyone is so friendly. They are always fully stocked and the quality is better than most. The man who takes my pick up orders to my car is just the sweetest. I highly recommend this location.
