We have a golden doodle and a boxer, and our babies love it here! They were able to play with other dogs during the day then got to stay together at night so they weren’t lonely. They were clearly well taken care of when we picked them up and were worn out from their long weekend here!

First time visit. We came for a nail clipping for our pups. The younger one could care less, but our old man can be a handful when touching his paws. They were very understanding and worked at his pace. Would recommend it to anyone. We will be back and may even have to try out the other services next time.

Sarge has been coming to Chenal Pet Palace for the last three or so years. About two years ago, while we were on vacation, my husband fell and shattered his entire right leg. Rosslyne and Adam went above and beyond during that time. They kept him for almost 20 days while my husband went through two surgeries. I do NOT know what I would have done without them during that time. I am so grateful to have them as a part of Sarge's life. Sarge is a German shepherd with special needs. I would not trust ANYONE other than their team to handle my dog! I've always found them extremely kind and courteous. Definitely give them a try!

We have been bringing our mini goldendoodle to the Pet Palace for a little over a year. We are always met with a smile and everyone treats us with kindness and Harper like their own. We have so much peace of mind that Harper is well taken care of and disciplined when needed as she is still a young pup. Harper is genuinely excited to go to daycare and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to send our sweet baby. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you do for us!

The folks here are so very nice. I called almost everyday we were gone and got great reports on our furbabies! They were happy to see us and that was a plus. This is the place to leave your pets while you're gone!

I brought my puppy in for daycare and when I picked him up and asked when he last ate and the lady told me no he didn’t but she wasn’t sure but she’d ask. When she asked I was told that my 10 month old puppy accidentally got skipped. He had to sit and watch others eat and had an empty stomach for over 8 hours. She tried to justify it but it didn’t work. First impressions are everything and this was not a good experience.

We were unable to take our two dogs with us to an event out of town and our vet stopped taking boarders. Our neighbors were unavailable and our B&B had a no refund/no pets policy. We were about to reluctantly have one of us stay home with the dogs when we started looking in Little Rock (halfway between us and our destination). We gave Chenal Pet Palace a call and confirmed everything we needed to a three day stay for two. We were so pleased with the staff and the set up (we didn't tour but the website was detailed). When confirmed our pickup time and the staff made sure that our puppers were clean and ready for us when we came. They even had new matching bandanas on with a cute winter theme, and considering that my big boy rolls in EVERY dead thing he can find I'm surprised he's so clean and pleasant smelling! My husband and I were commenting just last night how lucky we were to have found this place. We won't go into a panic next time we have an out of town appointment where the dogs can't come, we'll just book them a spa weekend! ❤️

Really great place that cares for the animals that stay there! My two cats just stayed the weekend here while my home was being shown to be sold. It was very easy to work with the staff, and they listened to everything I had to say about them taking care of my cats! I understand that not all animals are easy to work with, especially cats, and the care takers here did great with them, as well as taking into consideration the care and well-being of the other cats that shared the living space with them!

If you have a grooming schedule and a standard for your pup to look, this is NOT the place for you. I said nothing when they sent my dog home looking like he walked out of the most redneck trailer park and didn't even apologize. I had to call my previous groomer to get instructions to give them. They told me he went out like that because the manager wasn't there. So your groomers have no quality control? They also will screw up your appointments and have no remorse. Once they didn't even write my dog on the schedule but gave me an appointment card, when shown they said they didn't know how I got that, and the 2nd time they put my dog on the wrong day. We have been going the same day of the week for 6months or more. I am not the only person they have done this to. If you have to call days before your appointment that you scheduled 6-8weeks in advance to ensure it's STILL on their books it's not a place I trust with the care of my furbaby. You can't remember to write down an appointment, how do I know that you remembered to give them water, or even groom them correctly.

I took my basset hound to them for 12 years. She loved it and they loved her. She stayed in the front office because she couldnt careless about dogs but loved people. Awesome owners that helped me give my dog a great life

I have been boarding my cats here for years and have been pleased with care. The room for cats is clean and entertaining. I always find it interesting to pick them up and see where they are hanging out. The staff shows an interest in your pets and learn the personalities of the pets. The staff are friendly and professional. I would recommend their services.

I took my husky to chenal pet palace for a bath, deshed, and nail trim. I dropped her off at 9am just for them to call me back at 11am to tell me that they weren’t able to do anything because she wanted to jump out of the tub. are you kidding? you’re supposed to be professional dog groomers. I’m sure she isn’t the first dog in the world that hates baths. When I went to pick her up the lady at the front desk said “We had a husky come in for JUST a nail trim I can’t imagine a bath for him either”… if they couldnt/don’t know how to work with huskies they could have declined my appointment and saved me my time. I had her there for 2 hours just for them to do NOTHING and actually give her back to me worse with her hair shedding everywhere. And they couldn’t even figure out how to get her harness on. Not to mention my aunt also took her yorkie for a grooming and hair cut. They advised her that it would ONLY be a trim/ 1 inch off. Her Yorkie was there for 7 HOURS just to receive her completely shaved when picking her up. She was not matted what so ever for them to have to shave her bald. They also had the audacity to charge $50. Terribly bad service and they will not be earning our business ever again. I was expecting the best care for our pets out of chenal pet palace and received the worst. Would give 0 stars if I could.

This is my first time bringing my puppy Teddy to their daycare. The staff is very friendly and was gentle with Teddy. Careful about the undercarriage of your car as getting over the hill to park scraped the bottom of my car.

The 2 girls that work the front are very polite & they know my dogs name & my dog just wags her tail is super happy! My dog seems to come back cleaner than when I drop off most of the time. I have a puppy that tinkles & rolls in it. They always clean her up so good.

I took my golden retriever pup for 2 days as a trial daycare. When he came home both days, he gulped water as if he hadn’t drank all day. He also peed for several minutes as if he hadn’t been taken out.On the second day, he came home with a swollen face from some kind of allergic reaction. Not only did they have any kind of explanation, but had no sympathetic apology for the neglect. Won’t be going here again for the care of my dog.

I cannot say enough good about Chenal Pet Palace. My dog attends day care literally every day of the week (Mon through Fri) and has for several years now. He LOVES day care and I love the staff! I trust them to take care of my fur baby and I can't say that about many people. LOVE Chenal Pet Palace!

Have you seen the remodel? It’s been finished for a while but it’s still fresh and clean!Always smells good in there, someone cares.They do a great job with Baby Boy Hank our 100 lb-er. I think he likes it there.They do a nice job with grooming and room and board! Highly recommend.

So, I called when my regular kennel was booked for the upcoming weekend. I thought this is perfect because they are so close to home.Well when I was speaking with the young lady asking questions to board and selected my dates she blurted out its $60 per night. Now, now in my mind I thought why would I call a kennel and not be aware of high charges for 2 dogs but I ignored it and pushed on. I simply said ok.m and there was an awkward pause. She then began to say “well do they have their records “ so again I paused because at this point the level of my professionalism has to go into leadership role because I’m clearly dealing with someone that has not been trained or just does not know any better.I said yes and asked if I needed to bring them or could they call the vet and have them sent, which is a normal practice. She told me that I would need to do that and get them. I’m thinking fine. I’m in a bind and will be nice because these are the people that will care for my most precious gems for a week.She then tells me I have to pay upfront a new policy she said. The profession that I’m in knows that this is false and boarders on illegal but again I will do whatever for my fur babies. Tsk. I said ok and this was Tuesday.So, Thursday after an exhaustive search to find another kennel - I called to make the full payment for a week $420. The man that answered the phone seemed hurried but that is definitely understood however he then placed me on hold for a whopping 7min before I hung up.I called my dogs vet, let her know what happened and she is going to keep them for a week.I write this review to let everyone know, how the staff treats you is how they will treat your pets.

Not reliable. I was gracious enough to reduce my groom because of groomer illness and verbally asked for another groom date. "I got you" they said. It was not written down and thus not honored. Be sure to see them schedule you!! Very frustrating!!!! Looking elsewhere.

the pictures on the website are extremely outdated. the rooms look nothing like the rooms in which we left our 4 month old french mastiff. When we picked him up after the 3rd day he was literally covered head to toe in his own urine......the pillows and blankets we left for him we were told would be washed, they were not and still soaked with urine. Plus we also gave them instructions that he needed to be fed two cups 3 times a day of his food we left and he definitely had wayyy too much food left in his contaimne when we picked him up indicating they did not fulfill our wishes. no clue why this place has a 4.5 star rating. people need to know and they need to update their website and they need to upgrade the puppy rooms.

I'm not a frou frou pet person, but I always try to board my dogs somewhere that they play during the day as opposed to staying kenneled. I dropped 2 dogs off here for the first time and paid extra for a dog door so they could let themselves outside. When I picked them up the dog door was closed, and clearly had been for some time as my 2 year old dog urinated immediately when we got outside without even sniffing around. They were kenneled both when I checked on them and when I picked them up (2 different times of day, they gave me a reason the first time so I thought it was fine), not playing with the other dogs; I specifically confirmed twice before I booked them here that they would play during the day. When I picked them up they smelled like urine (I understand that dogs stink/like to roll in things, but they generally smell like the sanitizer used to clean the kennels when I pick them up from other places, not like they've been wallowing in their own filth). One of my dogs had WAY too much food left over, so they either didn't feed him per my instructions or fed him other food without notifying me. Their rates are also not competitive, and for the quality I experienced, they are outrageous. I generally believe you should give an establishment the ability to correct its issues before writing a negative review, but I didn't discover all this until after I picked them up, so there's nothing they could have done and I want to ensure that other potential customers are aware of my experience. Most of the 5 star reviews are from several years ago, it appears that this place has gone downhill. I will drive an additional 3 hours round trip from now on to get my dogs somewhere I trust.

I took my fur baby to this….Outdated dog daycare on 2/21. Pet lovers will not receive good quality service! My fur baby wasn’t happy running to my truck instead of wanting to stay and play.

I think the employees here are nice and the place is well kept despite being a babysitting place for animals. All different types of animals can stay here: dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. There are different kennels for each dog with most of them allowing them to enter to an outside cage via a doggie door during hours of operation. When they close the doggie doors are blocked off so the dogs stay in the kennels all night. Yhe major downer about this place is that it does have a surveillance system where you can look in on your dog on their website. However I don't think other places in Little Rock have these feature so it may be a universal thing that is lacking here. Overall it is a nice place for your fur baby to stay but you should at least say a prayer that everything will be alright when you come back to get them.

Please do not take your animals to this place. I made an appointment they told me it would be a three week wait. Once I got up here they refused to see my dog and said that it would be another three weeks after I took off to come up here. They never answer the phone and a very unresponsive and unreliable. I told him I was extremely upset because I’ve already waited three weeks to get him in and their response was pretty much there’s nothing they can do. Very unprofessional.

My dog has super bad separation and storm anxiety. This was my first time ever having to leave him somewhere and he did great! He played well and was so happy ! Definitely trust them with my pets!!!!!!

They starved our dog when we boarded him here! My wife measured his food out perfectly over the period of time we were gone. When she picked him back up most of the food was still in the bag! Dogs don't have a voice and can not talk therefore no one would know unless they did what my wife did and measured his food out. This is animal cruelty! Disgusted by this place and will NEVER take my dog back here again!
