Worst store I have been to in a long time. The store sign by road has no lights. The sign on building is only half lit. The store itself is cluttered and you can not shop very comfortably without moving stock out of the way. Checkout is even worse cluttered with totes. No one upfront to check you out. If you use self check out and buy digital promotional items you do not get the promotion price. When this store was first built it was clean and stocked and employees were friendly. Not now.

They have been saying store remodeled or has been remodeled for a few months, which is kinda weird because no two stores seem to be laid out the same way so why does it matter? Anyway, for a few months the store has looked like its backroom from the last five years exploded. Every aisle is almost completely blocked off with carts and repack boxes and there is still hardly anything on the shelves or stocked....on each visit the clutter get worse, the carts just seem to be sitting there with the same two employees fluttering around them.Even the register area is mostly blocked. After negotiating the shopping obstacle course I went to the check out. The cashier looked up from her fully stacked cart exhaling loudly when she saw me at the checkout. Her attitude was more than viscerally rude. Then she really got huffy with me because she was in such a hurry to go back and play in the boxes and pushed the wrong button to process a debit card.It got worse when she realized it was her mistake not mine. If the item was bigger than a can soup it did not even rate being bagged. I got handed my milk, frebreeze,bleach,etc.( I used walmart bags we keep in the car for trash to bag the stuff.) I smiled said thank you hope your day gets better.She rolled her eyes and walked off. Now DGs are always understaffed with usually at least one grumpy associate and are usually cluttered to say the least but this is ridiculous . Definitely should have went to Wally World. At least everything gets a bag.Just went by the store to shop it is 4 p.m on a Friday ad again they are closed. Why not just close it permanently

I thought Dollar General stores closed at 10 . I guess the store on Dan Ave. Has different hours. I tried to enter store at 9:48 on 1/14/2023 and the doors were locked . Ther blonde headed lady working there just looked at me and walked off.

This crew is what makes this STOREThis store is way better than Bono and I WILL drive the extra distance for this store compared to Bono! Bono store you can't even walk in there because the delivery truck products will be blocking EVERYTHING on carts unlike this store it's ACTUALLY A STORE NOT A STORAGE UNIT! and I had the best customer service experience here as well

Always able to get what we need quickly but it wouldn't hurt to have an extra cashier. Sometimes the wait at the register is excessive. But the store always looks clean and neat and the location couldn't be more convenient

This is a very clean and organized store. I stop in frequently for forgotten items or great sale prices. Also, it's the only store that carries Softlips (the only lip balm I use) and staff are always friendly and helpful.

The store needs to be more Organized on the inside of the store for all wheelchair accessible Assessable people. You can't get down through The aisles half the time that you need to go down this is the one on Johnson. It's very aggravating to go to that store when most of the time. I go and ill drive all the way down to the one on church street in its about 10 minutes from my house. I live close enough to the one on Johnson that i can just ride my wheelchair but the store on Johnson is very aggravating to go in to don't recommend it for anybody I a wheelchair 😠😡😠😡😠...so therefore I have to wait til after 5 to go to the. But i can promise toy if Johnson store was cleaner and The hours were more clear to were you could get up-and-down through them I would spend more money now there then I would anywhere else...

I cancelled my shopping here beciase there are no restrooms. This is something that needs to be fixed. It's inhumane to have no accessible restrooms.

Some staff was very helpful, another told me she didn't know anything about the digital coupons when I asked if a certain size was covered by the coupon

Me and my husband went to dollar general on Christmas Eve and we didn’t notice that we paid full price so we went back with the recipe and showed it to the manager and she told us that the customer is not right when I was told that the customer is always right

Like the other dozen or so DGs around town, this one has most of the things one would need at home. This one seems to get a bit busier than most and lines get backed up often. This probably has to do with its proximity to Joe Mack Campbell Park and Westside Schools.

Always check your receipts. Their registers have a "problem" in recognizing the right price, specially clearance prices!!!! I, most of the times, have to go back to get it fixed.

Dan Avenue dollar store is the bomb. Wonderful worker's, clean,and always have what I need.
