i bought front wheel assemblies and took them to Wendell with a group of parts. they were never installed! they also kept my vehicle overnight without working on it or calling me to let me know they decided not to do the work. another time they didn't call when finished and kept it forever too.when i ask questions about repairs, i am rudely told 'i don't know' by Wendell.very very disappointed.REPEAT they kept my 4 wheel bearings at my expense!! i thought they had installed them. i tried for months to diagnose the noise i had thought was my wheel bearings. well IT STILL WAS!! now a good mechanic has replaced them and no more worry every time i get in my car. Months of Worry these people caused me! and great inconvenience by never calling when they were "done".DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TRUST. THEY ARE RUDE AND DISHONEST

I live over 3 hours away and my car broke down right in town. I called and they got me RIGHT IN! They had to order the part and had it fixed by 8am the next day! AMAZING SERVICE. They even drove me to the local Inn and picked me up when the car was done. I 100% recommend using them. They were friendly, fast, efficient, just very home town wonderful!

I brought the Suburban in to have an external transmission oil cooler added to it because we tow all the time. They had it in and out before Lunch time. Great service and really good people.

Had my 1994 Jeep YJ towed by this dealer by his tow truck. The tow was handled really well ,and I left the Jeep with them with instructions to repair a gas line leak, a flat tire and to please check the brakes and clutch. Also asked Wendell (the owner) to drive the jeep and make it as safe for this old 80 yr. Old and his wife to continue running the backroads of Montgomery County. They were very busy, but to my surprise they had it repaired and safe early the next day. As usual the price for all services were very reasonable and better than I could have imagined. This is a very trustworthy auto repair center and again, we are very blessed to have Wendell and his staff in Mt. Ida. I truly recommend this business for your auto needs!

Friday April 5th 2017. I had to visit Mt Ida service to get a muffler put on. I got prompt service. .it was inexpensive. The guys all there did a great job. They were helpful and helped me understand all the work they were doing. Prior to this I had purchased 4 new tires from here and again it was a delightful experience. Wendell is always willing to show you all options available to you. I enjoy that they respect a customer whether you are a man or woman.! Definitely worth a visit to a hometown business and support them!

The crew are so nice and helpful! Had an incident on Saturday had a tire get cut on the Hwy. Brian and another young man we’re so helpful came and changed my tire and got me on the road! Wendell was still here when I got back into town and got my new tires ordered and they are being put on now! If you ever have a problem give them a call! Stone got right to work on my truck! These folks are great!

Absolutely great experience at Mount Ida service center. They fixed a flat in under twenty minutes. Staff was super kind and helpful to get us on our way! Highly recommend for any of your service needs. Our dog loved the cows across the street!

I had a great experience here. Axle and cv joint assembly needed replacing and these guys turned it around in no time. Fair pricing customer service was on point. So glad I was in Mt. Ida when this happened. You can definitely trust the Mt. Ida Service and repair to get the job done and an honest price!

Was vacationing from Springfield, MO and the second day of vacation my alternator went out. How it towed to this shop obviously not being from the area had to just go to the closet place that could get the job done in time. After calling me to let me know it was ready, they said not only was the alternator bad, but they had to replace the belt, and tensioner. They charged me over $700. They got the alternator from Oreillys and marked up the part SIGNIFICANTLY. I think they took advantage of the fact that I was from out of town. This was end of July 2021. Here we are Oct 31, 2021...so 3 months later and guess what. The belt they replaced on my alternator is squeaking and bad. I had it looked at and it needs to be all taken apart and fixed. These people are crooks, and apparently completely incompetent. Do not take your vehicle here. Period.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Car broke down on Friday morning. They told me they can’t have parts until Monday because part is coming from Tulsa. A phone call to Autozone 1hour away confirmed availability of part on same day. Parts arrived on Monday but prices turned out to be 2x more than what’s available at autozone(or advanced auto parts) both only 1 hour away. No problem with labor.

I've been here three times already and very much enjoyed my experience one of the times I came in was because I had to get a sensor on my car fixed the first place I took it to said it would cost between 800 and 1000 dollars to have it fixed they fixed in in less then then an hour and for 180 dollars I think the first place was just trying to pull a fast one on me for being a woman .I will be coming here for everything I canand need .
