I bought my Cavapoo from here. Before I got her home I has her vet checked. Perfect! She has all her shots and is so cute and playfulI was at the right place at the right time. The only complaint I have is how they posted the opening hours

If you really want a AKC puppy, I highly recommend them. Their prices are fair. It's way better than getting scammed on FB. You get to play with the puppies, and they are super knowledgeable about each puppy. The best thing of all you get to take your puppy home that day. No hidden fees. Check them out, they also sell birds, rabbit's and other interesting animals.

This place is very small, they have hand fed birds, they have rabbits, puppies, mice, crickets, what look to be used cages. They also have a very small selection of animal toys... the lady we bought our hand fed 3 week old lovebird from was so kind. She gave us her personal cellphone number should we have any questions about the care or health of the baby bird. They DO NOT TAKE AMERICAN EXPRESS... when we walked in she was not just standing around but she was caring for the animals. The animals all had clean bedding and toys but the cages (bars) could use a good cleaning. Because they have baby animals that need to be fed every few hours they take them home to care for them. They have birds out of the cages and one seems unfriendly like it is stressed over strangers coming in. They do let you touch the animals like the baby birds. 5 stars for the care they give to their animals even after sale. 4 stars for selection for the size of the store and cage bars.

The animals they have always fun to try and catch. The store is very friendly to people handling the dogs and Guinea pigs

I always enjoy going in here and helping socialize all the animals; they have many unusual birds come through here, and they always have something soft and cute to cuddle for a little bit! They've also got some live foods for arachnids, and other animals. Definitely worth a visit! Also I hear they have great grooming but I haven't had to do it yet. :)

The people here are very friendly! They board animals and take very good care of them. The animals they have in the store are kept mostly clean and tidy, they're all puppies so really it is to be expected there will be some dirt. They're animals! The birds are also fun and sweet.

We called & they sent photos of dogs that'd NOT get over 7 pounds! I told them I wasn't in the best of health so I needed a dog that'd stay small. I was told the dog we got ($350) was just that! A Chorlie we was told. That was a lie too.

I tried bringing my girls to come look at all of the animals, only to get there to locked doors. I checked the days and times of business hours on their page beforehand and it clearly says Mon-Sat and only closed in Sundays. Just so everyone else knows and doesn't waste their time and gas, the sign in the window says they are closed Sundays and Mondays!! We were very disappointed 😔PLEASE UPDATE YALLS WEBSITE WITH CORRECT BUSINESS DAYS/HOURS AND MAYBE EVEN PUTTING THE INFO ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE!!!!

Good selection of animals to choose from, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and decent prices. We bought a couple rats from here recently and my girls are so happy to have them

You’re a business owner. People have to take the time out of their day to drive to you, to not only help your small business, but to help themselves and when you have multiple customers sitting outside for 30 minutes because you decided to be 30 minutes late, multiple times, you’re not only a poor business owner, you’re someone who doesn’t respect other people or their time. We chose to start going to your business to help out small town business owners instead of giving money to the million dollar franchises. Against better judgement from many people who said you were absolutely ridiculous, we decided to still help out. Well, your reviews speak for themselves, and you can consider ANOTHER customer lost because of your ignorance. Moving to a different building isn’t going to fix your poor decisions and sure won’t help the conditions you have your animals live in. Do better.

Ended up buying two male Guinea pigs who later were male and female I found out. They had babies. I was told they would buy the babies back when the time came. I also got a female ferret at a later time. My allergies did not act well with my ferret. I asked if I could bring her back and I was told they had a lot of ferrets but could bring her back and if she sold I could be refunded. The cage I paid $150 for was the same way. I could bring back on consignment at a lower price and would be notified when it sold. Needless to say I sold my animals and cage on my own.

Our family went here a couple hours ago to see if they had a chameleon, and it was heartbreaking. It’s not clean at all, and the smell is beyond any pet smell. It’s unbearable. The puppies didn’t seem happy at all, they seemed very withdrawn. Just not a good environment. So sad.

I get my feeder rats here. It is good the smell stays with me for a few hours after leaving but tbh for a pet shop it is the cleanest I've saw in a long time

When is someone going to save these poor animals??? This is cruelty what she is doing to these animals!!! Urine all over the floors, you couldn't even walk. Puppies had no food or water, puppies were begging to get out of there. In honestly need to go there to see how bad it is. It's alot worse than I can even describe. PLEASE SAVE THESE ANIMALS FROM THIS FILTHY, ABUSIVE PLACE!!!!! THESE POOR, POOR PUPPIES!!!! And I see from on here, 8 years ago she has been reported. Why is this still going on??? This is CRIMINAL what she's doing to these animals!!!!!!

They have some of the most amazing animals here. I picked up my first cockatiel here at the beginning of college (over 8 years ago) and she's still just as lovable as ever. Not only are the staff wonderfully helpful but when you come in, you can't help but want to leave with one of those lovely animals. 😊

2 years ago we bought a miniature dashing and a lhasa Apso that we love very much. We take Brandi (lhasa Apso) In for trimming every 6 to 8 weeks. They do a wonderful job

I have periodically visited this store for a number of years in Fort Smith. No matter where the store relocates, the unsettling conditions remain consistent. You’re likely to find a sample of the black plague in this store based solely on smell and visibly unsanitary/unhealthy enclosures alone. Last summer I stopped by the store’s new location and had to get a small puppy out of an enclosure next to some medium sized dogs (as they were free to cross over and harass the puppies) due to the puppy crying out in pain. As if feeling compelled to buy a puppy PURELY due to fear of other animals injuring it wasn’t bad enough, a bird later flew into the enclosure and a friend and I had to separate it from the dogs dragging it about like a chew toy. I felt beyond horrible for the poor animals displayed in this store. The only time the present employee assisted us (she was conveniently in the back and missed the terrified screeching of the bird being tossed about by dogs in an improper enclosure) was to tell us “well this isn’t a zoo” when my friend and I left without purchasing an animal. You can just about ask anyone in Fort Smith about this store and they will share similar knowledge, so I am appalled by the positive reviews. Poor excuse of animal care and even worse customer service. l try to not buy from chains and instead support local businesses/breeders, but this shop sent me running to Petco. There is no excuse to operate a business this way.

I was recently at this pet store. I am new to the area so I had no idea what I was walking into. I am a proud owner of many rescue animals of all shapes and sizes. So I am alway on the lookout for cages, toys, treats and other things for my pets. I went here because it wasn’t a big box store only to find it was worse. The puppies were sickly the birds were missing some in not all their feathers. There were to many guinea pigs in a single cage that had a wire bottom which is bad for their feet and the feces was so built up that it was above the wire. One guinea pig had sores all over it’s body likely do to being bitten by the other guinea pigs. It brought me to tears. I tried to talk to the person working there and she gave me a major attitude and a speech about how they take excellent care of their animals. I wanted to buy them all but that wouldn’t have changed anything. If I had purchased them they would just be replaced and the new batch treated just as bad. I contacted the county and a few rescue groups. Please do not purchase animals from here even if you are just trying to save them. Places like this are animal mills. For every 1 you save 4 will take its place. Contact the county or rescue groups in the area. I was told the county had been to this pet store many time and seized animals mostly dogs. I don’t know how they are still open. If you buy a pet here and it is sick or dies inform the county. It’s the only way we will get this store to treat its animals better. BTW a rescue group did go and get the injured guinea pigs.

I would give zero stars if I could. The animals are in very poor conditions. The bearded dragons are getting the wrong food and most don't have any heat or light. There was a rabbit being housed with the guinea pigs. And the dogs didn't look healthy either.

She has some beautiful birds. Some of her green cheek conures and cockatiels are handraised and really sweet. She has been raising exotic birds for years and is really good at it. Highly recommend her birds.

If you ask her for shot records for the puppies it will be co-OP shots not from a licensed veterinarian for the price and safety of the puppies they should come with a complete vet check up and shot record . I can only imagine the puppy mill these puppies are coming from. I wouldn't trust the breed she claims they are wheres proof. She is very rude and definitely will not ever be able to sale me another animal. Just be aware that when purchasing a animal from her you need to take to vet immediately.

We always had good experience here. We purchased a cute dog few months back and she is really doing so well. Owner also does boarding and grooming at reasonable price. I am surprised why others are giving low ratings here.

Her shop smelled amazing, the critters were all clean, well fed. She was so helpful and informative. We will definitely be purchasing a Tegu from her in the near future!! Baby guinea pig for your viewing pleasure!

It seems as though the owners of this store don't care at all. The cages are filthy as well as most of the animals with fur. They never open less than 20 minutes late. Not only that but they give different prices for the same product every time I come in. They are lucky they are the only ones with what I need.

This place is horrendous. Puppies are held in small glass pens and have matted fur. Two of the dogs were fighting and no one attended to them. The puppies seem very inbred and most likely come from a puppy mill, and don’t even look to be purebred. There is a ball python that is extremely emaciated and has no bedding and one hide cave, and one heat lamp. The snake was being held in a tank much too small for his size, and was on the same rack as the rats and mice. Birds are self plucking their feathers out due to stress or neglect. There was a ferret laying in his food bowl because he was too weak to try and sit up while eating. The chinchillas were practically zombies, they looked horribly sad and I didn’t see a dust bath for them. The worst thing I saw was a hedgehog that was missing a very large portion of quills and had multiple wounds that had been left untreated. I left without a word due to a child being in the store, but I wholeheartedly believe this business should have the animals taken from them, or they at least need to improve the VERY SMALL facility to be able to hold these precious animals that they see as nothing but profit.

I am not a big supporter of Pet Shops to begin with- since there are so many animals in need of adoption, but this place is one of the worst. If you are an animal lover, then just walking into this place should make you sad. Small cages, dirty animals, ect. Not to mention the many many people who have come forward saying dogs they have purchased from this place have contracted a plethora of diseases. It seems like the people who are in charge only care about the money they will make from people dumb enough to give it to them. Please educate yourself before ever buying an animal from anywhere (if you must). Another issue I have seen is animals bought from here not looking like the breeds they are supposed to be. I used to be a groomer in the area and I know what is standard for certain breeds. There was a time or two when someone would bring in a dog that was supposed to be a specific breed that they paid several hundred dollars for, that just did not fit the mold. Just recently, I found out that my mother purchased some angel fish from them a while back. (Three of them). The final fish just died last month, which happens. However, my mother had no previous knowledge of the species and didn’t know they were aggressive. One fish killed the other two over a period of time. Do you think the people at Middle Earth informed her of this? Of course not. So please adopt, don’t shop- but if you must have a specific breed of anything- find someone more knowledgeable who will not rip you off and only care about the money.

My children love to go in here and hold the animals which I think is amazing! However, a recent time we went in here we saw a woman holding a small dog to get clipped and they had a thing around its neck to hold its steel and it looked like the dog was being choked. Also, the last time we went there was a dead kitten wrapped in like a blanket or something in a crate and there were tons of people looking at the other animals. This broke my little boy's heart seeing a dead kitten just laying in there and also the animals like this cute little poodle I absolutely adore look like they are so sad and they don't get paid or something. I feel like these animals are sick and not taken care of.

Pets of every kind! My grandson recirculation an Albino Pac Man frog for his birthday. He hasn't eaten since he got him... the owner has been working with us to try to get him to eat... went into the place today and was amazed at the different animals. The owner knows her stuff...

Went in the other week to look for a bottle of Ich medication for my fish. Not only was the bottle expired by almost a year, it was also $16!! I instead bought the same product for $5 online.I absolutely hate this store. They buy all their puppies from local puppy mills. Most of which die or are sickly. Their small animals always have respiratory issues and their birds are always missing most of their feathers. To make matters worse, they posted a new sign that they don’t offer any guarantee on their animals! That means if your animal gets sick or dies, they won’t do anything! Not even refund your money! That’s just pathetic considering. Especially considering Petco will pay for your vet bills. Awful store. Needs to be condemned and closed for good.
