The owners/operators have been above amazing. My family’s RV broke down on a cross country trip. We spent several nights, adding them day by day, as we were waiting on the mechanic to find the parts we needed. They gave great recommendations on assisting us and were overall great.The room was very clean and there were no bugs of any type. Our dogs were happy and there is a great yard area to walk them next to the parking lot.

5/5 star rating.Traveling with 2 small dogs. We were very impressed with Red Roof Inn. Beds were comfortable and we had full cable, which is unusual! We also had a fridge and microwave! Room was clean. We have found our new motel! Oh, and animals are free!The only thing I found wrong was the walls in the bathroom are in need of repair. We stayed in room 102. We had a nice time, and I am so glad we have Red Roof Inn a try. The receptionist at front desk, (morning) when we check out on 1/22/24 was so friendly. We are very happy!

I was a little worried based on previous reviews but I must say it was a good experience. I had to travel with my dog at the last minute and he was able to stay for free. You could tell they have been trying to fix it up. But we only needed a place to sleep for a night. My only wish is that these hotels had softer beds but most places are hard mattresses. The staff was friendly and they allowed late check in as long as you call ahead of time. Parking was only rough because the guests apparently forgot how to park. But the area was lit up pretty good.*back again a week later! Can’t complain, the staff were still friendly and the room was still nice :) I appreciate the management responding. I know it can be difficult to have comfier bedding but thank you for having clean linens and actual blanket! I have stayed in hotels allll week and I’m am surprised at how many do not provide a blanket.Noteworthy details: Pet Friendly!

NO BUGS! If you just need an affordable bed to sleep in on a road trip it's fine for that.The rooms are not that clean, but the sheets were clean, not a great area but not the worst I'd stay there again if i needed to.Walkability: Restaurants within walking distance right in the same parking lot.

It could just be that we didn’t get the best room; However, when we first walked in, we were hit with the most awful musty old smell. We just needed a place to sleep for the night so we decided to stay. It didn't seem like the cleanest place but the sheets seemed to clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable considering the quality of everything else. It seems like a very old building and definitely needs to be updated. Checking in was easy and checking out was even easier. I only rated customer service a 4 because the wifi password wasn’t working for us, and when I called she basically said she didn’t know. Which normally wouldn’t be a problem but one of us had absolutely no service in the area. Overall, our experience was not the best but if you’re looking for a place to sleep for a night, this one isn’t too bad.

The DIRTIEST hotel we’ve ever stayed in! We slept in sleeping bags on top of the comforter because the sheets were stained. The towels were no different various levels of stain on all but one. The smell of old and new smoke was overwhelming every time you entered. We had a few annoying flys. We didn’t feel unsafe in the area which was good because the deadbolt was faulty. The TV remote didn’t work. The walls and floor was just beat up, browned, and dusty. I will note that check in/out was pleasant but the room didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in years! Unfortunately this was our first and most likely last time staying at a Red Roof Inn.Rooms: Disgusting!!!

The location was a little odd....behind a gas station.. a little bumpy to get to, but will say was overall pretty secluded once back there and easy in and out,close to interstate 40. DEFINITELY, not for semis. Rooms were surprisingly better than I expected. Obviously, it isn't perfect. It's an older hotel and a cheaper one in the area, but honestly, for the price, it's totally worth the stay. Had newer floors that hardwood laminate, beds were comfortable, nice pillows,soft towels, and clean linens (cute bedspread) it really does match the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised by this decision. Close to Walmart, Sonic, Popeyes, and a few other restaurants.Rooms: Do have handicap ♿️ roomsSafety: Cameras on building

Was first time at the Red Roof because a friend referred it to meThe manager or owner was greatHe listened to what I needed and gave me a great room at a great priceWith an extra a jacuzzi did not use it but hey for the price that was AmazingRoom was spacious and extremely comfortable and clean he certainly made a huge impact in my way of traveling.. thank you Max.

0 stars. Not 1.Do NOT stay here.One of my beds looked like the sheets hadn't even been changed it was disgusting. Visible liquid splatters, dirt smears even a dirty footprint. There were multiple matress protectors and each one had different yellow pee spots.The toilet seat and floor even still had pee on it.Save yourself by going elsewhere.Honetly the the reviews of all the hotels in Forest City are pretty gross so skip the whole city in general. Unfortunately it was too dark for me see at night so i stopped here.

Giving 2 stars because the customer service was good. ONLY giving it 2 because the room was pretty dirty and run down. Big yellow stain on the bed closest to the wall, pubic hair in the shower, a brown dirt rim around the shower drain, the microwave didn’t work, there was a big white food stain in the dresser, mildew under the sink, the phone to call the front desk didn’t work, and the towels didn’t smell clean. We also had a nonsmoking room, but woke up in the middle of the night to smoke all in the room. The morning following our stay, the manager did ask me how our stay was and I expressed to him a little dirty, so he did give me an extra 10% off which was nice. The location was also a little hard to get into, as it’s behind other buildings. We came here because the reviews for Days Inn were also terrible. Would avoid both places to be honest.

This was one of the worst stays I have ever had at Red Roof. I’ve been to others that were cleaner, more comfortable and renovated. This one definitely needs updates but that isn’t what bothered me. What bothered me was that it smelled like an old mop was used to clean the floors. I thought the smell was coming from the bathroom, thinking because it’s an old bathroom. After showering and getting ready to leave in the morning. As I’m getting ready to put my socks and shoes on I can smell where the odor of a vets office is coming from, the floor! I washed my feet again and finished getting ready and left immediately, I was so grossed out. I like Red Roof but this one was the worst stay I ever had at an in or hotel.

This has to be the WORST room I have ever stayed at. The walls were filthy. The door lock wouldn't turn in order to lock. The floors were gross and sticky (stop using pine sol, it just masks everything with the strong scent without cleaning). There was no grout between the tiles in the bathroom. Never again Red Roof! Not for the price I paid.

I hate giving this one 3 stars. I've stayed here several times. I was saddened that it doesn't appear to being maintained as well as in the past. I have always enjoyed my stay here. The people are super nice. I hope I can give them more stars in the future. My floor was not clean and the trim was sticking out on the door. It would catch your leg as you are going in and out the room.

Rooms are disgusting. They need better up keep. We had gnats flying around in our room the whole time. When checking out, the front desk girl did not get up from sitting down. Very unprofessional and did not ask “how was your stay”. I guess they are not too concerned about their customers and you can tell by the way they tend to the rooms. The area is not a very safe feeling environment.You get what you pay for and you pay for what you get.

Had to put a 100 dollar damage deposit when we checked in I have never had to do that when staying at a better hotel. The floor was sticky the roll of toilet paper was almost empty had no tissues only 2 face towels and bath towels I'm sorry but for 2 people that is not enough and when we went to our room the door was open. The only good thing about our stay was the restaurant right behind us The Old Sawmill restaurant it was fantastic I had always heard that the Red Roof Inns were a good place to stay not this one

Staff was extremely friendly; the hotel itself need some work and a huge power wash. They dint have an elevator and the stairs outside real of urine. The shower was pretty gross too and had hairs still on it. Not to mention the room was dirty and had items left from whoever was there before. The lamp was broken and sheets were oddly stained. The door wasn't very secure and the lock didn't work. And the walls are pretty thin. I guess it ok for a one time stop but I wouldn't stay there again.

This is my first review, ever. And yes, I was frustrated.We arrived around 10:20. I go to the front “window” because no one is allowed inside without a mask. I check in and only 2nd floor rooms are available. We carry the bags up the stairs to room 212. No elevators, no carts. We get to the room and the air conditioner (AC) isn’t working. I go back down to the “window” where another guest is in the lobby with NO mask even though she ran another guest out earlier due to this. I explain the AC isn’t working. They give us a room on the other side, room 211, but there is no parking for the trailer, which we want to see, during the night. I go back down to the window now from the other side and explain this. The young man that initially confirmed the AC in 212 was not working now says the AC is working again because he kicked it and squeezed it on top, or something similar to this. The woman then calls, someone, to explain the situation and to get permission to give us room 212 again, even though it was their issue to begin with that the AC wasn’t working. The individual apparently approved. So, now we go back over to to 212. Yes, the AC was indeed working and it did through the night. The room was clean, beds very comfy, nice shower head. No garbage can, blow dryer didn’t work and yes, someone did try to break in to the back of our vehicle even in eyesight of the room.So, if you are looking for economical, this is the place for you. Would I do all of this again to stay here? NOPE!!! And, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve traveled the world and stayed at hotels and this is the worst hotel I ever “stayed” at. I say stayed because we didn’t stay, we left after a few hours. From drug deals in their parking lot to the quality of the room, I wouldn’t wish this place on anyone. The floor seemed like it was covered in an entire bottle of lube, the room was janky to say it nicely, the shower tub was clogged and back flowed and their was a deathly smell that came from the tub. Complete and utter dump.The lady at the front desk was super nice though but that doesn’t make up for the money we wasted stopping here.

I had a reservation at this hotel for over a month. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm and we're told they had no rooms. They had one that smelled like smoke due to a fire at the motel and one that the door was extremely hard to open. We went to another hotel and cancelled our reservation and they tried to charge us for the room anyway. We had to call Expedia to get this resolved. The front desk clerk didn't care and was extremely rude. Will never stay here again as we make this trip twice a year!!!!!!
