I found this DG at Evening Shade to be neat, tidy, well-stocked. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I have most often been using the store at Cave City. It has become poorly kept, filthy, in fact, & their shelves are often bare. It's become impossible to buy catfood there. Now that I know how nicely the Evening Shade store is kept, I will drive further & move my patronage to them.

The Evening Shade Dollar General is a very clean, uncluttered store. Very nice, helpful, friendly employees. The store is set up nice and orderly. The shelves were stocked and faced (meaning items were pulled to the front of the shelves). That always gives a good impression of a store. It makes it look better. There are no cardboard displays set up to get in the way or bump with your shopping cart. It makes a store look very cluttered with these displays. And the displays do not encourage me to purchase the item. So I always give better ratings when a store does not have these. The store is easy to move around in with a shopping cart. I like their selection of women's clothing also. Overall a very nice store.

Always friendly people here. My only gripe is that the aisles have so many freestanding displays that it is very difficault to impossible to get a walker or a wheelchair down some of them. Restrooms always very clean and well supplied with paper and soap.

The people as this location in Evening Shade Arkansas were very polite and didn't mind helping me look up a price on an item marked down 50 percent. I had was a very pleasing shopping experience here. The only thing I would like to see different is the organization of the store it was a little here and there .

This dollar general 1st was so dirty. Carts all in the isles where a person couldn't push their own shopping cart down some them isles. There was clutter on the floor in majority of the isles. This is poor management and lazy staff. 😪 no matter what was going on this day there shouldn't have been any excuse for this to be that bad. I was a General Manager of Dollar General for 25 years. I know it gets tuff but you can't let your store appear this way. Sorry 5 thumbs- down.

The DG store in our hometown of Evening Shade, AR was welcomed with open arms but since that time I am no longer a customer. One bad experience after another as caused me to drive over 10 miles away to shop elsewhere.I have left reviews before but nothing ever changes. On my last visit I mentioned to the DG employee who was standing in the front entrance smoking a cigarette that I would go elsewhere to shop if she was going to smoke at the doorway. The response was OK! And she went on talking on her cell phone and having a good smoke break. I did go elsewhere and that store got $74.31 in business. I may have had to pay more but that was OK with me.

Went to buy a movie that had a tag on it and when they rong it up it says 21.80 when there is a tag in it that clearly says 10 bucks and according to them they can't over ride it and that they wont let them. Don't put a tag on there for 10 bucks if you're not goin to sell it for that price
