Management (Waverly) is amazing!! Very communicative and fast to respond. And even though I had to cancel a non refundable booking, she gave me a refund for the nights she rebooked the cabin. She definitely could have just not given me any money back, so I'm very impressed by her honesty and integrity.If I ever have the opportunity to visit Arkansas again, I'll definitely make an effort to visit!

We stayed for the 2024 solar eclipse and had a great experience. Waverly and Mike were very welcoming and accommodating with our late arrival from a long drive out of state. Would definitely stay again if we end up back in the area

I've always loved Arrowhead and somewhat considered it my other home. Arrowhead has been a excellent getaway from everyday life their employees go above and beyond any expectation. They always put the customer first and when it comes to communication they are very well-mannered and respectful. Waverly has been one of the most influential owners that I have known. They keep the grounds clean and orderly. I would definitely recommend Arrowhead along with the other canoe outfitters when it comes to floating and staying on the Caddo River.

This place is for sale and I WISH i had the money to buy it! I would never leave. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This place is absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and taken care of. I camped on the river for 15 bucks a night. Not bad. They have cabins, rv hookups, camping spots. Super friendly staff and the owner is awesome all the way around. She went out of her way to make sure everyone was taken care of and happy. They have a bunk house with large kitchen, microwave, stove, ping pong, utensils, tables, fridge and freezer. The bathrooms and showers are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I was a bit surprised by this because the place looks a bit rustic. I was so impressed with the place and the staff that I gifted them with a good sized and heavy rock with quartz crystal points across the top. Left it right in front of the office and the owner was so appreciative! It's a really nice piece and I'm happy I get to see it displayed whenever I go back which I will be going back, for sure. I might gift them more pieces every time I go. I didn't have the time to float the river, definitely need to go back and do that! They are dog-friendly so don't worry about bringing your fur babies with you! I will bring mine next time. Be warned and be aware...the staff here are super social and love talking about the area and campgrounds with anyone who asks. Very knowledgeable. Yes, that's the only "warning" I have for you. Be ready for warm smiles and pleasant conversations😁👌

Great place for a group of friends to meet up and hang. They have tent spots, rv hook ups and cabins. Basketball court and other outdoor activities were available. Caddo river frontage with multiple float options nearby through self shuttle or other outfitters. Would definitely stay again!

We have went to these cabins for three years now and have really enjoyed each stay. The cabins are nice and the views are amazing. The staff are friendly and let you know of events going on there and places close by. Nice place!!!

I give this place 20 STARS! This was my first time staying there. I stayed 2 full days and nights. There are NO WORDS that could convey how very appreciative and grateful I am that the super-friendly staff at Arrowhead were there and always willing to help. The owner is amazing! A true gem. Cute, smart, well-mannered and always had a smile for everyone. She absolutely went so far out of her way to help me, way above and beyond her job description. My truck broke down in the parking lot. I had paid for a crystal dig at Wegner crystal mine the next day. I told the owner about my dig and she said "we have to make that happen". She got up in the morning, took me and my gear over 20 minutes away to the mine with her personal vehicle, then picked me back up after 4pm. She stopped at dollar general for me, too. They even provided a tool kit for me to use to fix my truck. This place is BEAUTIFUL. Super clean. It is a bit rustic, but they take care of the place very well. 15 bucks a night for a camping spot isnt bad at all. I put my hammock out and was at peace with the world. I will be back EVERY time I go digging for crystals. Every time. Oh and I noticed there weren't any mosquitos there and I didn't get bit even once. Big bonus for me. I will take photos next time I'm there and post them here.

I’m so glad I stumbled onto this hidden gem! It was so gorgeous there! I brought the family here for an uneducated, spontaneous float trip and it was beautiful. And when we made it 2.5 miles from nowhere without a ride, Waverly came to the rescue with a ride back. I’ll be going back A LOT more.

I can’t say enough about the kind staff! We have been there twice. Going back again. SO nice! The river is calming to be in after a day of crystal hunting. It’s calm and refreshing. The showers are hot, the area is very clean. The staff are sweet and helpful. Ice and wood are available for purchase at a reasonable price. There is a camp store that carries items you may have forgotten or that are needed for a tube/kayak ride. We went tent camping twice and it was beautiful! The sound of the river at night was very soothing. All in all it was peaceful, close to the mountains and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

Yay!!! This is the place. Right on the water, AC works really well and lots of hot water.Only 10 minutes from Glenwood for last minute stuff.Almost no mosquitoes.We’ll be back.

Really great place to kayak with I 100% recommend going here. I drove my family 6 hours to get there and the weather wasn't really in our favor but it was the only day we could go so we went with it. The shuttle guys came out and did the their job in the pouring rain (smiling and were extremely nice to us) and we were the only ones out there. I will 100% be returning.

Waverly and her staff are fantastic! They are friendly and accommodating. They keep up with the facilities and are always working to make sure guests have a great experience. She even took the time to print me a hard copy of map for an area I wanted to go explore that day. Highly recommend this place.

We've seen the campground before since we frequent the area for the river access, and always wanted to bring the RV out.We finally booked a trip with an RV site. We had a late check in, which they had no problems with. The facility was good, showers and bathrooms were clean, nice hot water in the showers.The only thing I can recommend for the campground staff/owner is that some of the RV site electrical connections needed some attention. My first site, the electrical connection was hanging off the post. The second site was great on the other hand.Also, a nice note for the campground. We had a 6hr drive back home on Sunday, and wanted to do some swimming before hitting the road. The campground allowed us to do a late checkout, so that we could swim on Sunday without having to find a parking space for our RV.Overall my family really enjoyed our stay, and it made for a relaxing stay. We would not hesitate to book here again, and most likely will in the future.

Terrible experience. The woman we spoke with the day before our trip in the office informed us that we did not need reservations and that there would be no charge if we brought our own float. She was supposed to text the address for directions. The text was never received. The following day before heading to Arrowhead we gave a call to the office again for directions. Only to be told that we would now have to make a reservation and pay $40. When arrived to the Arrowhead office we were informed that they would take our float, air it up, and would bring it to the drop off location to begin river float. Once arrived at the landmark they sent us to there was a man that worked for them, and was extremely nice and helpful with helping us relocate or float and find the correct place to park our car and enter the river b/c the instructions given from women in the office were incorrect. When our float was finally brought to us supposedly having already been blown up, was now half way deflated. The man that brought it re aired it up. But halfway thru the float trip the float had deflated 100% due to a nice clean slice we found on the bottom. With the water being so low, not to mention all the things we brought with us on the trip, we were stranded on the side of the river, on the rocks. With a deflated float. Now stuck, we had to again give the office a call and pay another $30 for a "rescue" fee and that was only b/c they said they had to drive so far. (Which the drive was literally only a mile down from us if even) They arrived an hr after speaking with them. The man that picked us up was extremely nice and apologetic. But was not from AK, and did not know where the other drop off location that our car was at was. He tried numerous times to radio and call the girls in the office, whom just ignored him. They did not try the least bit to help him while we are pulled over at a gas station for 10 mins waiting on the ladies directions. Finally we drove to the other drop off location to get instructions from the guy that was working there. We then after another 30-45 minutes later made it to the car. This was a terrible experience! This is the second time coming to this river and being disappointed and will not come back. The first time was a kayaking experience, and now this. The office ladies need to get on the same page, and maybe get a little training done. I would give 0 stars. Terrible river and in office staff.

This place was absolutely amazing. We did not want to leave!! We stayed in cabin B and it was the perfect location beautiful view from our porch of the river! They are super dog friendly with a run at almost every cabin. Also super friendly staff family vibes. So many different activities to choose from! We will defiantly be coming back here to enjoy this beautiful place again for longer than three days this time! Much love❤

I had heard about this place from one of my friends who had visited here. So we decided to go for a visit, an boy was I impressed by the camp spots. The staff here was absolutely amazing and couldn't ask for a better host. The kayaks were reasonably priced and for the 5 hours we spent kayaking it was definitely worth the price. The atmosphere is very laid back and you get to choose your own camping spot which is very cool. We enjoyed every second we were there and definitely will be coming back. - Jeremy 😊

I had the best time ! The staff are amazing and very helpful! The cabin was awesome except the bathroom smelled like pee and someone had been smoking cigs in our cabin. However I would stay there again. The experience was worth it ! I give this place 5 stars simply bc it was an amazing time of much needed R and R in a cozy cabin . Thank y’all

We really enjoyed kayaking with our two boys (10 and 11 y/o). They had an absolute blast which made us have an even better time. The only downside was there was no signage for dropping off your car at the end to wait for the shuttle to take us to the beginning (we did the reverse shuttle so we ended the float at our car) so it was a little difficult to figure out at first. The staff was quick to answer the phone when my wife called and helped us get to the right place. We will use Arrowhead again.

I called several times prior to our trip asking questions to make sure tubing would be idea for my Autistic daughter and each time I was greeted with such friendliness. There was a bit of confusion pertaining to the shuttle service though. We went to the office to pay and was then directed to drive to another location on our own to start our tubing trip. Once we arrived at that site Monica was such a wonderful help with my daughter!! She suggested the cooler tube for her and provided rope to keep us tied together. She also went over all the details as to where each exit point would be. Once our trip was over the shuttle bus driver saw us walking toward the van as she was loading other passengers and informed us that she would come to us to pick us up! She also informed us of nearby places to dine and other services offered by Arrowhead...I can’t say enough about the friendliness and excellent customer service we received. This was a great experience and my daughter loved it!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The workers are always accommodating and a pleasure to rent from! I've kayaked and rented tubes from them several times now and I've been more than satisfied every time! One girl in particular, named Morgan if I remember correctly, helped us a lot and made us feel at home.

Always love camping and floating at Arrowhead when we come to the Caddo River. The campground, bathhouse and restrooms are always clean and quiet. The staff is always super nice and helpful. Definitely our quick getaway adventure destination from our home area in East Texas.

Was given the wrong directions by the company and ended up out on the water an hour late because of this. The company gave us cheap string to tie the tubes that repeatedly broke. The launch site is unmarked. We were overcharged and given the wrong tubes - they refused to furnish the correct tubes and we were not refunded. The river is also at dangerously low levels for tubes and the workers were oblivious to this. The endpoint is an especially dangerous area with rocks that blocked all of the tubes from passing - employees weren’t present to help pull tubes from the water or address any of the issues above.

We love Arrowhead! Always a friendly smile and courteous service. Great family atmosphere. Cabin B is our favorite on site for a family of 5. Cabins are always clean! Clean campgrounds and located next to a beautiful bend in the river. Very nice 3 hour average or more float. They pick you up and take you back to site which is always convenient and never a long wait for pick up. I just love this campground and have been coming here for over ten years!

Really relaxing and had a blast!! My 8 year old son enjoyed it shoot he wanted to decorate the cabin and move in. The staff and owner went out of their way to accommodate us and was Very respectful. We arrived in town and stopped tjere to rent our floating equipment and the lady was EXTREMELY RUDE on both occasions. The first time no person was around to help us at gift shop. The second time the lady (with broke foot) seemed irritated by us bothering her and told us we would have to ask someone else. She informed us that she was busy dealing with something that involved the sheriff. Not to mention they are higher than luckys. Luckys was AMAZING and super friendly.

Arrowhead Rentals were very courteous and helpful. My partner and I did the Kayak Rental (2 kayaks) and they were among the most affordable of the many Kayak rental places on Caddo River.They have 2 separate Kayaking/Canoeing/Tubing routes depending on the water level - a high level route & a low water level route. We were on the low level route given the time of the year. The overall Kayaking distance was about 3.5 miles and the Kayaks were great. Please keep in mind that about 5-6 different companies all use the same river so sometimes the route can be busy. If you get there early in the day, you might get a super quiet route all to yourself.Overall, I highly recommend their service! Call em up over a phone, decide your timings, and make payments in advance to have your slot booked! They also have showers and restrooms at the main office site (we did not book any cabins but you can do that too if you need to)Happy Summer! Stay sharp, and stay safe. Cheers.
