If I could rate the grooming department a zero then I would. Turned my dog away for her grooming appointment this morning for being heartworm positive, but yet they had no problems with grooming her 7 weeks ago. She is on treatment and I got told this morning it is part of their policy to not accept heartworm positive dogs. Looked at the policy and it says no where in their policy that they do not accept heartworm positive dogs. Called and spoke to the grooming department manager and she said it was in their employee policy. Maybe you should make the policy more accessible to your customers so they don't book with you and waste their time.

I’ll never bring my dog back here to be groomed.When I walked in, there was urine all over the lobby floor. No one seemed concerned about cleaning it up until I walked in, the girl was just sitting on the computer twiddling her thumbs.Secondly, when I picked my dog up, that same urine spot was still there, or maybe it was a different one but still, the woman sitting at the front desk didn’t have any sense of urgency about cleaning it up. Also, my dog looked and smelled the exact same. Her nails were not trimmed, teeth were not brushed and she still smells like Fritos. They look $50 from me and didn’t do a thing.I called customer care and the store to request a refund but haven’t heard back. Regardless, I won’t be taking my baby back to this location.

I took my Golden Doodle Pup in and never got anything really cut. Told them to cut to about 1 inch. Couldn’t tell she had been cut at all. They said she wouldn’t cooperate. Took her 3 times same story. Got tired of giving my money away for a bath. I bought shears and the dog stands perfectly still while I cut her. All I got was lies and excuses!

This was the first stop we made after getting our new dog. We found everything we needed from toys to food to a nice new collar. Even a nifty Lazer etched name tag. And all the while our new doggie was just thrilled to be there. The place was nice and clean despite the frequency of animals. They even had treats at the register that the employee happily shared. I've been to several locations with this chain in the past, and it's always been a good experience. This store was no different. I won't be hesitating to go back when we need something else

Pet Perks and price match! Variety of cat and dog food! Wet cat food on clearance! Store assistant manager assisted me with a cat food product for digestive care and senior care! Staff very courteous and friendly! Clean store! Highly recommend shopping here for ur pet needs and wants!

This place is horrible for grooming and really anything else. They charge way too much for additional grooming packages then DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE. They tried buffing my dog’s nails as we “checked out” and spent like less than a minute and this is the second time. They rush through services and put the animals at risk and this has to be investigated. We have had to take the dog elsewhere for face trims and nail trims. I will never return to PetSmart after the recent visit. Ariana is one of the WORST groomers there, she has no idea what she is doing and needs training or some other work elsewhere not with dogs. The turnover is high here, you won’t keep a groomer long and don’t complain, PetSmart doesn’t care and the owners and managers are complete liars. PETA cares though and yes, based on the abuse I believe my dog received at Benton PetSmart, a complaint was filed with PETA. Go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble, no one wants to waste their money these days and when you’re paying it, use it at businesses that want to serve you, it isn’t PetSmart.

BEWARE they now have a company policy that they can’t groom your dog if they have mats. Wish I would have been warned of this prior to my two hour drive to get there in which I planned my WHOLE day around waiting for my dog to be groomed. And to answer your question, no, they can’t shave her down. So 4 hours and a tank of gas wasted and still have a dog that needs grooming.

I handed my pup for the first time at the the petsmart in Benton, AR. The groomer - Jasmine did not dry him after his wash , did not cut well and did not even brush him well after my dogs haircut and wash. I think I would have done a better job for the money spent here. I hope it was an emergency that she left early without doing the job assigned and what was paid for. After paying for the grooming service , some other groomer brought my pup to me as Jasmine left early and he was kind enough to atleast air dry my pup. I realized my puppy was wet and wondered if he was left to be wet and cold while he was waiting for me? Petsmart Benton just lost a customer!!!

5 stars for the manager of pet smart!I am from out of state visiting. My dog has been playing and doing a lot of outdoor activities. He is normally groomed in the DfW area.DO NOT LET ARIANNA GROOM YOUR DOG. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I know other people who have similar complaints about this same groomer.1 star for the groomer who shaved all of my fluffy dog's beautiful fur off without My consent. He was simply signed up to have trim and a bath. She also called literally minutes after dropping him off to insist that I pick him up and she couldn't finish the job. She left fur on his legs and his face. He didn't even get a bath or anything.Thankful for the store manager for being so kind and courteous. People like her always make a bad thing somehow better.It doesn't change the fact that my dog's cut is hideous and he didn't get cleaned up. Terrible experience.

Clean store great customer service but they need to get rid of those stupid metal rings they have for customer’s dog’s they have at the register. I turned and whacked my hip on one Dec. 9 2022 in Benton and got nerve damage from it it’s been about six weeks and I still can’t walk right or stand for very long . Not to mention the12 hours a day of none stop screaming out in pain every day and couldn’t even have a Christmas with my family. Just saying

If you book do not book with Ariana she is the worse groomer I have ever had the mispleasure of dealing with she was rude and it doesn't look like she even did anything to my sweet baby that I paid for will never be going back.

Paid for nail grinding, ear cleaning and bath. They didn’t grind his nails nor did they clean his ears. Management was unapologetic about it and when I said it wasn’t done he told me he was not going to call his employees lairs. So I guess I’m lying not sure what he meant by that. 73.00 for a bath! My dog weighs 115lb and they called to say he was ready after only 37 minutes for all that plus teeth cleaning. ImpossibleMy score is a big 0 for themBuyer beware
