My dog is very shy, but she always wags her tail when she is received by the staff here. That's how I know she is well-treated. They always accommodate us and require up-to-date vaccination records. I highly recommend them.

Uptown Pet Spa was a great experience! I'm really happy with her grooming service. She was able to groom my dog Poppy on short notice. She was able to clip her nails, express glands, shampoo and dry and clean her ears in a short time. She smells and looks so good! I'll be coming back here!

I needed a place to board my pup while away for an extended period of time. They were by far the nicest and cheapest I came across with my research. Christina was very informative and friendly. She put my mind at ease and helped me feel confident and comfortable leaving him in their care. Christina sent me texts of him and updates of how he was doing. I also followed their Facebook page for updates. I came back to a happy pup. I highly recommend this place if you need to board for a couple hours, days, weeks or months! They really love and care for your furry family member and take pride in it!

They did a great job and every single person there was extremely friendly. I finally found the groomer I've been looking for in Yuma. I've been to a few others and was not thrilled. But I left there being thrilled with the work they did but also in a great mood because they were all so friendly.

Since the new owner has come on board, everything has gone down hill. The place used to be lively with so many people there loving on my pups. They knew my dogs by name when we would walk in and my dogs used to love going.Every single person has since left and now there is only one employee managing every task. One employee is not enough to handle animals who need attention. Leaving one person manage all tasks simultaneously led to my 12 lbs Maltipoo being fed 1 cup instead of 1/3 cup of food each feeding for days!Clearly, there is something wrong as the owner is unable to keep an adequate amount on staff.UPDATE: We were just fired as clients and were told the reason being primarily due to the negative review. I was also told of multiple incidents from my dog which are absolutely ridiculous. Apparently there are many documented incidences of aggressive behavior and attacks..If my dogs had multiple incidents of biting or injury to OTHER dogs, I’m sure I would have been notified at the time. We were notified once when he snapped at the blow dryer and got the groomers hand (there was documentation and we were made aware) but to say MULTIPLE against other dogs…unbelievable. Especially because the older staff would do nothing other than rave about how well behaved they are! I stand by my recommendation to NOT leave your pets here.

Garbage business. At some point, a new owner took over, and they completely ruined the business. The last time our dogs stayed, we were informed that a SINGLE EMPLOYEE had been responsible for all of the dogs there for an extended period of time. Absolutely outrageous to expect one person to be able to provide care to so many animals for days at a time. As a cherry on top, we just called out of the blue and were told that our pets were no longer welcome there after more than half a dozen stays. Never have we received any mention of an issue with our dogs until my wife left a negative review. The owner is vindictive, cheap, and completely uncaring for his or her employees. Avoid this business at all costs!

Holly at Uptown Pet Spatook charge of Stella Bean today and gave her a perfect cut. Holly always asks my particulars for Stella’s grooming and is always offers to snip extra here or there to make it right, as my groomer language needs help😂Being a labradoodle with unmanageable curls can be difficult. S.Bean is afraid of the blow dryer so Holly took her time and eased Stella’s anxiety. Always confident dropping Stella off at her Spa that she will come home happy and doodle-ful!

Uptown Pet Spa watched our snake for almost two weeks. Shortly after we dropped him off the heating pad was malfunctioning. They communicated promptly and worked with us to troubleshoot the issue and got it working quickly. They took great care of him, I wouldn't hesitate to return with any of our animals! Thank you!

It's always nerve breaking when you leave your pet at the groomers. I have no issues leaving Ruthie for her appointments here. She's not nervous when I pick her up, the staff are so nice and shelooks great.

Uptown Pet Spa did an excellent grooming on our terrier mix that was long overdue for a haircut due to COVID-19. I called around looking to make an appointment ASAP and every groomer I called had a 4 week wait time. Uptown was able to give me an appointment in 4 days of my call.Our dog looked wonderful upon pick up, the best grooming she has ever had. Our groomer was super sweet too. We will definitely be coming back, as I want to support a locally owned business.

I was shocked at how good my dog looked when she got out of this salon! After reading one of the reviews from a year ago I was hesitant to try this place but I am so glad I took a chance. Whoever wrote that review was wrong. Over the last 19 years of owning Lhasa apsos And visiting different groomers as I have moved around not ever has my dog ever come out looking so wonderful. This is an excellent place to have your dog groomed and I would not hesitate boarding my dog here either. The minute my dog saw the front desk lady she walked right up to her like she had known the lady for years!!! I really could not have been happier and I do highly recommend this please - don’t hesitate to take your dog to this groomer - your pet is safe here 💜 if there were anything wrong I would have written it down ✌️

We were in Yuma for a couple of days in in march in order to get some dental work done across the border. We hadn't planned in advance to board our dogs and weren't sure we would find a place at such short notice.We found Uptown Pet Spa in Google Maps and called the night before boarding them (I think we even called after hours, but someone still picked up) We couldn't believe the great price for boarding both our dogs for the day! Our day in Mexico went longer than expected, but it was no problem to place a quick call and asked to have them boarded for the night.When we arrived the next morning to pick them up, we found both our dogs in high spirits. It was clear that they had been very well taken care of :)I also just found the Uptown Pet Spa Facebook page, check it out! It's clear that everyone there really loves what they do and takes a genuine interest in each dog's well-being.We are headed back to Mexico for more dental work soon and will most likely board our dogs here again!!!

The one star is because they did their job (kinda) the hair and nails where cut the dog was washed and obviously sprayed to heck with perfume. They are very impatient with shy and scared animals. The head of the shop screams at dogs all the time. They use a high powered blow dryer ment for horses on both large and small dogs. The prices are bull. The only difference between all the packages is what they do to your dogs nails. The "special dye jobs" is manic panic hair dye. They will put your dog in a kennel until about 5 minutes before you are supposed to arrive do it looks like your dog is socializing and got to play with the other dogs they like. the workers are pretty nice it's really just the boss I have personally seen being mean to animals and gossiping about customers to other customers. I could go on. If you like over paying for products you can get on amazon and don't care how they treat your animal it's a good place to go.

I absolutely love Uptown Pet Spa!! I board our Dog and Cat there occasionally!!! They are terrific !!
