Went there to get something for dinner around 7:30pm, the deli salads looked dried out, sandwich station was closed and when I asked when they stop making sandwiches they didn’t know. The premade/packed items looked sad, so I decided to go somewhere else. Usually Safeways are awesome,.. so I was surprised. We did get some ice cream, checkout clerk was nice.

Nice little grocery store for a small town. App works great for savings and points! They do an outstanding job keeping shelves stocked during holiday madness! Clean, friendly, and helpful. Checkout kept moving despite last minute shopping!

Have been a Walmart grocery shopper for years, but this past year, I have especially I've been very disappointed in their rising prices. I decided to give Safeway a shot.Holy Cow! They had Walmart prices beat hands down. The key to shopping at Safeway is learning how to use the Safeway app. Once you do that you can easily take advantage of their member prices and their digital coupons. Today was my first time using the digital coupons, and the Safeway staff was extremely helpful in helping me and showing me how to use the app. They put Walmart to shame. Plus, the store is cleaner, the staff friendlier, and just an all around more pleasant atmosphere.Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Was an okay trip today, but it's always a clean store very well stocked. My cashier was nice and greeted me, she just didn't put my items where I could grab them right. She kept them behind the register and didn't offer to hand them over to me, or at least put it on the belt and have me grab it at the end of the register. And she started with the next customer while my items where clearly still in the way. But I normally always have a great experience.

Unfriendly. Employees are unhelpful. Low inventory and expired items are left on the shelf. Healthy options are limited. Bountiful bakery section but the produce area is small.Updated me my review to five stars. Employees are more engaging and willing to help find items you’re looking for. Produce section is better stocked and the meat section has a wider variety of cuts. The store feels cleaner and shelves are fuller. An impressive turnaround from my first experience. Bravo Safeway!!

First time visiting this store and I'll definitely return. The prices were reasonable. I purchased a half of apple pie and it was delicious. I'm definitely purchasing a whole pie next visit.

The customer service representative was the most disrespectful person I have ever met. I come here for small change for my business everyday and this was the first day I received the comment “ we are not a bank” alone with a eye roll. Obviously my services when shopping or just getting change is highly unwelcome here and the lady running the customer service counter on Monday June 27th at 9:40am showed that. Thank you for showing my I do not need to continue going to this grocery store!

This place has been one of the filthiest stores ive ever been in and the ataff was completely nonchalant and passive about it. I went to use the ladies restroom and not only was there dried blood on the toilet seat, the toilet paper rolls were just left on the floor there was nasty grey grime all over the sink, and they had no soap to wash my hands. I had to go into the mens restroom to get soap. We let someone who worked rhere know of the state of theor bathroom and that its it was out of soap, she seemedore bothered that we brought it up to her.After that we went to check out, and as we were checking out, the bagger starts violently sneezing and coughing in his hands, then uses his hand to wipe his nose and then immediately goes to handle our groceries. Its saying a lot when the Safeway in Holbrook is 10x cleaner than you. Disgusting.

We were taking a family emergency road trip yesterday morning. We stopped in Winslow, looked at our options for picking up several items. Decided on the Safeway. When we went in, we noticed this store is beyond clean, well-stocked and tidy. Well actually immaculate! It shows me that the entire staff is dedicated to the store! This reflects proud, working folks, not lazy ones. Ya'll rock in my book!

I like this safeway.Trucks park across the street or at the end.They have everything but trout.And crickets in the restroom. Jerks.You will like this place too.. better than Walmart.

SO Clean!!!! Whenever I'm in town I come to this Safeway for all my needs. Everyone is always really nice and helpful. The lines usually move rather quickly BUT if you're going to shop here make sure you have a rewards account. There is no reason to purchase anything from this store unless you have a rewards card cause the prices would be outrageous.

Oh my! Can the baskets that we place our food and vegetables in be any dirtier???!!!! Every basket was filthy - I don't mean just the handles, the insides were extremely dirty! Appearance and cleanliness of every aspect of a business is a huge issue for customers. Of late, grocery stores, restaurants and fast food chains overlook this key element to a customer returning. When door handles, windows, countertops, carts and warming glass are full of fingerprints and dirt you have just turned off your customers. AND 98% of customers won't comment, but I guarantee they won't return. Please keep your business clean!First time in this Safeway, will not return.

We stopped in at Safeway bought some salmon on sale and a few other items.the meat dept.employee was nice,polite to my needs. The store was clean & orderly. The cashier was nice,polite . Check it out.

This safeway is one of the better ones I've been too. It's never to busy and all the employees are very friendly. There is somehow always a lane open in this safeway, which is something I am not used too. Produce is good they got a nice selection and good meat.

This store is clean and deli offers a nice variety of food items, staff are friendly and helpful usually not too crowded. Produce is well kept 💯 Western Union and a Pharmacy located here.

They have a good supply of items that were once scarce because of Covid-19. It's clean and well organized. My pharmacy is there so it's very handy. I would have given 4 stars except that ever since Safeway was bought by Albertsons, their prices have gone up. Now I'm shopping for most of my groceries at Walmart except for fresh produce.

Sad what has become of this business. The mistakes on prices never end. Contempt for their customers can not be hidden.Went in for water today. 2 for 7.00 or 4.50 each. Rang up at $5.50 for one. What kind of company does this to their customers?

Before Safeway was bought out, they received supply trucks every night. Now, it's every other day. That makes s difference. Plus in people in the bakery were very helpful. Now even they have to look for things. They quote rules instead of being helpful. In the meat department, which seems to knock-off early. I can never find meat cutters in the evenings to help. The machine they use to tenderize meat has been broken for I don't know how long.

Illegally harassed me to the point of quitting. Paid into MY union, ignored it. Someone at Google (Gmail) deleted my email from their records UFCW99 it was to Margaret Lester I believe. Nothing happened. Now I'm out of a job officially terminated me for being unreliable, BUT I had called in to telephonically quit before my scheduled shift. Now I have my evidence missing from my home about them writing me up. Never refunded my money from the Union after the promise to fight for my job!!!

Employees were very rude, nothing was priced right, and they were out of literally everything. Very dirty too. I grabbed a cart from outside because they had none inside and the handle was gross. The cart hold smelled like someone had crapped there and the floor was disgusting. Worse Safeway visit ever.
