We booked this room for 1 night as we were traveling through and just needed somewhere to crash for a few hours and this place had decent reviews as far as cleanliness and all we needed was a clean place to sleep. Our room was 324. We got there pretty late around 12:30 and checked in with no issue. As we got out of the elevator on the 3rd floor the hallway immediately smelled and just looked gross. Upon entering the room the carpet was covered in stains. Then when we got to the beds there was a big white stain that still had chunks in it in-between the beds. Looked like someone had barfed there and it wasn't even fully cleaned up. It was absolutely disgusting. The beds appeared clean and it was really late so we just slept anyways and wore our shoes around the room. Definitely would not stay again. There is a best western plus in Yuma a few minutes away. We stayed there 2 nights. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra few minutes and spend the extra $50 and stay there. Much much cleaner.

Great value for money when we booked last minute. Location is on the way to somewhere and not necessarily a destination itself. Hot tub was very nice, though the pool is not heated - sun power only and not enough during the early winter months.Will definitely return if we're passing through.

Bianca Guardado was very nice and kind.But the room was very small, and the bed was very noisy and loose. Couldn't sleep well.Rooms: Very smallFood & drinks: They have breakfasts early morning. 7-10am i think.

The Microtel is right off the freeway and easily accessible. For what I was charged for a 2 night start I was very disappointed. The room wasn't cleaned while we were there. The bathroom and shower were in need of work.The people at the front desk were nice and helpful but the support staff was not. I'm not sure that I would stay at a Wyndham hotel again. This is the second bad experience we have had with this chain.

This is my first time staying at a Microtel by Wyndham. It’s a decent place to rest for the night but not a place that I would look forward to staying at for more than one night. I checked in past 11pm and the person at the desk was pleasant and helpful. The room layout was different than most and looked to be setup for extended stays. Overall the room was good and appeared to be clean except for the sofa. The sofa was long past it’s “sell-by” date (see pics)! The breakfast was basic with one waffle maker and no other warm options. Surprisingly, the pool area looked very nice. It does share access with a gas station but the fuel price are much higher than Yuma.

The pillows suck. Flat and hard. The breakfast service they provide was very sad. Out of yogurt, coffee cups and fruit most days. We stayed 4 days.Rooms: The rooms were outdated and need a refresh. Carpet was old and weathered.

The hotel looks good on the outside. Staff are helpful and friendly. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast selection. The room I had had a stain on the window seating cushion. The carpeting in the room you could tell was old. I notice that most Microtel rooms are small and compact. For the most part the room was clean and bed ok. Place needs updating.

Discussing hotel. Walls are yellow whole place smells like feet. Rooms haven’t been redone in 20 years. There was nut shells under our bed and night stand. Front desk lady was out smoking half the time we were there. Pool was closed for maintenance. We were just there for work so if I had my family it would be different. But this place is beyond gross. Spend the extra money and book something in Yuma if you need to stay in this area. Dustys pizza across the street though is some of the best food Iv ever eaten in my life. Fantastic food.

Nice hotel. Located in an unexpected location 30 minutes before Yuma. Clean and nice rooms. Great Staff, front desk and big ups to Yesica. A bit on the high end on cost but they're busy. Simple breakfast and coffee readily available. Super quiet at night. A small strip mall down the street with restaurants and a bar. Chevron next door is open 24/7. They sell more than the average gas station. Recommended.

This girl is by far a gem . Very quiet and peaceful and attentive staff. The rooms are nice and cozy as well as a beautiful pool area. A+++Food & drinks: Plenty to eat near by and great location to be out of the mainstream but with good food access

I was at this hotel for 3 nights 12/15-12/18 visiting family and took my dog because they are a “pet friendly” hotel. The check in was smooth and we got a 2 queen bed suite which was okay. However, the room was missing a hair dryer. I called multiple times but they never resolved the problem until i went to the front desk and they were able to let me “borrow an empty room” to blow dry my hair which i found to be inconvenient. However, that wasn’t the main issue i was disappointed about the hotel. The main problem was that they claim they are pet friendly yet they kept calling me complaining about my dog barking. They kept on saying guests would complain about the noise (barking). It was really stressing because i have no way of controlling my dog’s barking. People kept passing by and every time my dog would bark. It wasn’t like non stop barking, it was just when he would hear someone pass by or hear any noise (which was frequent). I felt like they should have not bothered me about the situation instead they should have accommodated any other guest that felt disturbed by my dogs barking since they are “pet friendly” or at-least have a designated area of rooms for pets. I was not satisfied with their service due to this matter. It was stressful.

I had a great experience here. My car broke down and needed a place to stay to figure things out. I was able to book two rooms and check in within 20 minutes. The lady at the front desk was really nice and very accommodating. The rooms are a little small but has everything we needed from a refrigerator and a microwave to a very comfortable bed and a bay window to just look out to relax. They have a pool but didn't get to try it out. This hotel is within the perfect location. I was able to go to the gas station and get food and it is all within walking distance. The only thing bad was the hallways smelled like wet dog but the rooms were perfect. I think it was just because windows were open and it was coming in from outside. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

I would give a five star rating, but the old box TV in room 122 did not have good reception. We moved to one of the Suites on the last day due to the AC going out on us; glad they had the extra room at that time, which was really nice. They had an updated flat screen TV and AC was also updated. Overall the hotel was very clean and the outside jacuzzi was nice and hot during the evening hours, especially after riding ATV'S on the sand dunes. Pool was nice, but just too cold at night. Great hotel for the price.

The lady at the front desk was very pleasant upon check in. The room is. Cozy, clean, and comfortable. People complaining about the sizes obviously didn't realize it's a 'microtel'. Anyway, the pool is gorgeous with gas grills outside and the place is incredibly pet friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this location twice in one week. Staff is extremely friendly, rooms are clean and they do have breakfast amenities. Was having trouble with my truck and had to leave it over the weekend in their parking lot. Jason at the front desk was very understanding and a maintenance guy gave me a ride into Yuma so I could rent a car to get back to San Diego. Would definitely stay here again!!

Terrible stay at the most dirty place! Our room had pee on the toilet seat and the floor had not been vacummed. Each day the staff pulled up the sheets and did not remake the bed properly any day. The bathroom had grime in it and we cleaned it ourselves just to feel like we could use it. The room had no microwave or fridge, even though we booked one with those amenities. The breakfast was poor. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone! Very disappointed.
