Home Depot is becoming my go to place for learning more about how to do things to take care of my house.I love that there is always someone there to answer my questions and they are truly helpful!!!I like to do my own work and do the best job possible.I have found out so much just wandering from the Garden section were I always go to inside the whole store.There are nice friendly Employees who walk me over to an area and take time to answer question in a sincere way.I had help from Dan in the Paint section. Dan showed me a product and told me it is used as a wood filler for the roof fascia for wood that has cracks. Good to know how to used the wood filler prior to sanding and painting with good Acrylic paint after it has fully cured.Dan treated me as a valued Customer and I will always go back to places that sincerely take time to help when needed.Thanks Dan and all of the wonderful Employees inside.I also want to mention Renee in the Garden section who always makes my experience fun. Renee knows her stuff and has worked for Home Depot 22 years!Thanks to all the friendly knowledge workers that are at the Broadway and Kolb location.

I would like to acknowledge Diego C who helped me with my Christmas tree purchase last night (Tucson at Broadway/Pantano). Despite being the only employee in the lot with at least a dozen customers, Diego kept a smile and positive attitude. He went above and beyond to trim the trunk so it fit perfectly in the stand. I’m sure he would have felt supported if his manager covered the shift change personally instead of leaving him alone out there. Still, he represented himself and the store beautifully. I hope management and corporate take notice. Integrity can’t be bought with a salary, you’ve either got it or you don’t. Well done Diego!

This store just knocked it out of the park!I contacted the store asking if I could bring in my son's Cub Scout den as they worked on an adventure about tools. They agreed and we set a date/time.I was only expecting them to reserve 3 kids workshop kits and let the boys build them onsite with store tools, but oh no....they went way beyond that!When we showed up, manager-on-duty Anna asked to look at the requirements for the adventure. She said they had something a little more challenging in mind for the boys. Now, I'm no tool or home improvement expert, so I deferred to her judgement.When all the boys were there, Anna personally led them on a tour through the tool section. They touched tools, shared what they recognized, and talked about tool safety.Anna then took us back to a corner of the store where they had set up a makeshift table and had a pile of beginner tools to donate to each Scout!!! WOW!Anna talked them through each of the tools and then another employee, James, came over with precut 2x4s. Both Anna and James spent the next 1.5 hours with the boys showing them how to build step stools with the tools the store had gifted them.Oh man, can you imagine the thrill these kids had? They were totally into the whole project! They made noise, made mistakes, asked questions, and even learned about torque.I loved that Anna and James made the evening special for the boys. My son, for one, cannot wait to build something else with his dad USING HIS OWN TOOLS. I went back to this Home Depot location to buy all the components for his next build.Home Depot earned my loyalty through this AMAZING experience. Just wow!

Very disappointed with the quality of customer service. I purchased blinds over a month ago, they were supposed to be delivered a week ago. I called to get an update and instead all they did was transfer me around, when I finally had a lady answer she hung up. I must say the customer service at Lowes is much better!!

The employees that work at this facility especially at the return department, go WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customers!! I do return things quite frequently. Hence how I have a better understanding of the return team and it's like this... very organized very well. They put the T.E.A.M in the word team by the way they orchestrate wonderfully together! They're very on it! They know what they're doing they do it excellently the gentleman that I'm assuming is manager or supervisor of the team, I have to applaud him. Because he did an excellent job with everything as far as training ect. The whole store in general, well I can't say enough about the employees at the El Con Mall home Depot except that you all need to be recognized with a nice raise for the great customer service great organization great knowledge way to go guys!!

Best service with Duncan! Came in to just to look at wood for a project. But he was able to cut it to size for me so I didn't have to and could fit it in my car and take with me that day. I overheard him that he was supposed to go on lunch but he didn't make us feel like a burden at all. He just stayed and helped. He even stopped and helped me pick a better piece of wood so I didn't have a warped one (I hadn't noticed) He was kind to my toddler while cutting so she wasn't startled. He was just a great representation of what you want for a company. In a time where customer service isn't a priority he really made us feel like we had someone helping and answering questions. Thanks Duncan!

This is a really good Home Depot location. I've found that the employees in this store seem to not only be a little more knowledgeable than the ones in some of the other Home Depot locations, but to also be friendlier than most. I've had them let me into isles that were closed off when I told them what I needed, and not once have I gotten that "I can't believe you're asking me that" attitude that you all too often get. I'm getting older now, and when I have asked if someone could help me load up heavier items for me, they have had me puke up to the door, someone hustles right out and practically had it loaded before I can get out of the car to help, and they are so nice about it too. A return has never been an issue of any kind, and they have even looked up what I bought and when on an occasion where I was going to return an item I had lost the receipt for, and were able to help me anyway. I think this location is just a bit of a cut above the norm.

Always find what we're looking for, but recently purchased some appliances (washer & dryer) & the employee who helped us was exceptional. Plus, we couldn't get the same washer/dryer until late October with another big box store... only a 3 week wait with Home Depot. Saved me from spending a lot of time in a laundry mat.

Mr. Bud Estel is a wonderful employee and person. He saw me in line with an expensive caulk gun (professional use) and helped me find the caulk gun for home work I needed, which saved me at least $15. He was so helpful, so kind and I want to commend him and this store for employing such a wonderful staff. Thank you Bud!

Horrible customer service. I just asked for help in a department to a worker and then he goes ill try and find somebody for you. I have been waiting for over 10 min. And the guy will walk by fast and ignore me. He still has not called anyone. There are more cashiers just standing around than workers. Horrible place to shop I rather go to lowes at least they will help you.

My wife and I, both Mexicans, have felt discriminated against in this store on two separate occasions. It happened when trying to get help from store employees. They seemed pretty friendly when helping white people, but when it was our turn, they became visibly annoyed. They should be grateful that we travel from another country to spend our money on theirs.

Seems to be getting worse. Went looking for a screen rebuild kit and had to dig through about two dozen open kits to find two that were unopened. The open kits were missing the parts packets, so they are basically useless. Same thing when I look for the Toggled direct wired ballast bypass kits. I won't buy an opened package or one that looks as if it has been opened and taped closed. I did that with a case of floor tile once and had three different colored floor tile in the taped box.

I've been shopping at HD off E Broadway for 8 months. I placed a contertop order equaling several hundred dollars. I mentioned doing the install myself it's not rocket science.Look You All deserve a "F" when it comes to customer service.When a customer goes out of her way to say U all have a nice day good bye. No Reply! U Don't Deserve My Business. HD u didnt get my new refer order due to the lackadaisical attitude.Lowes going forward I will take the rest of my remodeling order materials to Lowe's.

If you are in need of tools and building materials you’ll find it here. However asking an orange vested individual if they sell hammers and nails and if so where you could find them. Only to get a blank stare before saying “um I’m not sure” then getting on the intercom to summon another orange vest that has actually seen a hammer before and remembers which isle it was he saw them. This isn’t Home Depot’s fault. When the only tool the majority of the available entry level employees have ever used is a joystick. And when the first 18 years of your life was spent on the couch in front of the TV exposure to normal everyday items is almost nonexistent. Just think these are the people that will be the ones in charge in the near future. It’s too bad that God is just the most popular imaginary friend that has never existed so he won’t be able to save us all.

The good ol' boys who work here think it's great to point you down the wrong isle when you ask them for help. It happened to me often. I am reminded of when I waited to speak with a guy in electrical and he sent an elderly couple walking up and down the electric isle, several times, looking for something. They finally gave up and left.On a different visit I witnessed three employees gang up on a young guy and he finally got angry and left yelling loudly at them. He was yelling out they refused to help him with an online order. Not good.If anyone was to tell me this place gave them a bad experience I would totally believe them. We live in the SOUTHwest, and sadly many people these days are not kind. Dont want you to end up like me with a screw in your tire only to discover it after leaving their parking lot.

Update: canceled my flooring installation and getting my money back. In about one month of trying to work with these people, virtually nothing was accomplished. The "genius" manager of flooring shows up at the last minute listening on my phone call with the person who was supposed to save the project and failed. Yet was not anywhere to be found when these problems began and did nothing but blame: 1. Computers 2. Contractors 3. The Customer 4. Defends weak (being polite) employees. When he should have apologized and taken full responsibility as "manager". DON'T RECOMMEND!!!

Awesome Halloween decorations! Typically I prefer other stores for home improvement supplies but the Holiday decorations here do take preference over them all!Assistance from the staff was also greatly appreciated as our main monster was quite heavy 😬

Most useless Home Depot ever 50 employees standing around with blank stares while only 1 self checkout line is open. Stood in the power tools section for 20 minutes trying to get the attention of one of the zombies with the orange aprons which was an exercise in hopeless futility. Shop elsewhere.

I would like to give a great review to the two girls who work in the rental dept at home depot East Broadway and pantano location. Sara and the other girl I’m not sure of her name. But these girls are very helpful and knowledgeable. There always ready to help in a great mood and Sara literally made my afternoon. Great employees both of them! The deserve the best!

Little things would mean so much...But those small details were painfully lacking at the paint counter today, Sunday, October 22nd, around 3:15 pm. The paint counter was not busy at all. Yet, my experience was disappointing. I brought in the lids from 2 cans of paint which were from the same color of paint. That's because the paint "recipe" was difficult to read on both lids because of wear, paint splotches, etc. To her credit, the paint employee was able to read the paint recipe. This was Behr paint, previously purchased at Home Depot, and there was never any clear tape applied over the recipe label. I mentioned how nice it would be to put a piece of clear tape over that recipe label, so that if paint got on it, one could wipe the paint away to see the paint recipe.After mixing the paint, she put a drop of the paint on top of the can, which is customary. However, she didn't blow dry that. So I started "blowing" on it, while she stood by. I finally asked if there was a hair dryer which could dry the sample. She reluctantly pulled out the blow dryer and (partially) dried it. I also asked that she put that clear tape on the label to protect the recipe. I was disappointed that she seemed "put out" by both of my requests. I challenged her attitude toward customer service, explaining that paint stores I've been to always blow dry the paint on the can and put the clear tape over the label. She replied that Home Depot is not a paint store.To the manager of the Paint Department: Am I expecting too much? Does the attitude of this employee square with your standards? Because I was disappointed with her lack of customer attention and care. The minor things I requested, if delivered with a cheerful and willing attitude, would have meant so much. This costs Home Depot nothing. However, her attitude causes me to consider shopping for paint elsewhere. Because, as she said, Home Depot is not a paint store.

I am refurbishing chairs and recovering chair cushions with waxed cloth from Cameroon. This Home Depot has been my go-to for paint, nails, an electric sander, and masks! They have everything any person needs to get jobs done! Great staff, too!
