This is definitely my favorite Petco location. It is easy to get to and easy to get in and out of. The store is open and laid out really well. I always know exactly what I need when I go so, I rarely spend more than five minutes in the store. It is usually not very busy so there typically isn't a line for the register. The employees have been very friendly and helpful as well. If you are in East Tucson, this is a good pet store to shop at.

6:30 PM April 6th. Manager told me it would be awhile before he could bother to open the restroom door for me, even though he was about ten feet from the restroom. Nobody available to sell tropical fish. Myself and another customer left without buying any fish.

I received no resolution to my issue. "Mike" said no supervisor was avaialble, but one would call me back. 25 hours later I'm still waiting. It was the most frustrating, non-resolved conversation I have ever had with a company and I am super disappointed that he was not interested in getting to the root of the problem, but thought offering me a $5.00 coupon would make everything better. No sir, no thank you. If I could give sub-zero stars I definitely wood. Get it together, Petco.

I just bought mealworms to attract Vermillion Flycatchers to our yard— we don’t have any pets now but seemed like a well stocked store with helpful clerks- I’m afraid of snakes & was nervous I’d see one so didn’t spend much time in there.

This review is solely for the manager of this Petco. Everyone else there is wonderful including the groomers. The manager, who did not have a name tag visible, is a woman with brown hair shoulder length and a horrible stuck up attitude. Do not dare ask for help or she will mumble things under her breathe and make comments to her other minion with short hair who both like to stand around and just chat. We have gone here twice now to ask for help finding something and she looks at you like you destroyed her day. She won’t ask you anything for example” is this what you were wanting or is there anything else I can help with? “ She will walk you over to the aisle , point out the area it’s in and walk away with a complete attitude. She even has been heard talking about the other employees there which I find disgusting. Get a new manager. This one is horrible! She works the Sunday morning shift it seems. She needs an attitude check bad as she talks bad about not only the customers but the employees. This has been on 2 different occasions. If you don’t like your job, which she seems to hate since she complains the entire time, her and her short haired larger friend, then get a new job. This chick needs to go!

Has about everything you will need for your fur babies, but prices are on the high side. I shop here just for my dogs dry food. I do have to say, you can get the same toys at the foid stores cheaper as I found out.

Went in today to buy 30 lb bags of crystal litter. 2 on the shelf. Current offer buy one second bag 30 percent off, significant as $67 each. At checkout found one bag taped. Mgr admitted bag damaged-finally offered 5 percent off. I said good-30 plus 5, ok!He says no! U can have the 5 or the 30 but not both!I left the store and went to petsmart for my 3 bags.Either he dropped out in 8th Or slept thru high school! Hey petco, more indoctrination in merchandizing or basic math for ur mgrs.Ps. I always come here for my dogs' food. I am somewhat biased as I worked here when I was a lot younger. I can say that the staff is always friendly, they don't try to always upsell me things I don't need or want, and it's extremely rare that I have to wait in line, and if so, it is never more than a couple of minutes. I have no worries about choosing this place over their competitors.

mike the fish guy was so helpful and seemed to know everything about fish keeping in general cichlids in particular the checkout lady was delightful and so helpful she showed us a picture of her bristlenose pleco

My dog was not eating. Went on a hunt for anything he would eat. I walked into the store. One of the very nice and informative employees asked if I needed any help. I explained my situation. I was led to the section of the store I needed. Was given two options. She explained to me if it didn't work just safe Packaging bring back to the store and I would receive a full refund. Long story short my dog is now eating. We did not need a refund but it was nice knowing that we could take advantage of a great program like that. Thank you Petco.

Good cheap place for rabies vaccination. My dog wouldn't sit still, but they managed alright. In and out in a jiffy. Odd that it's like the middle of the store though. Didn't exactly feel clean.

I like this store. It's never really crowded and the people are nice. I'm able to find what I need and get out. Always the rewards points are nice.Update...I've started using order online and pickup in store. Still works great and order is always ready and never a wait.

I really appreciate the staff and they have a great selection but give me a break already on the ridiculous pricing. Why is dog food 60.00 to 80.00 dollars?? And even cat litter almost $30.00 for your cat to poop it's not gold. Stop over charging consumers we have had enough already.

Do not go this to location I felt they are racist and don't acknowledge customer, the manager seem don't want to entertain customers I have kids with me wanting to buy a turtle buy the tone of the manager I can feel he don't want us there. Also you have to play along hide and seek to find employees to help you. I asked the cashier and seems lethargic about customer looking several times asking for help. If not for my kids I will not go here. But never again.

Took my baby Axel there to get his nails done and anal glands cleaned. After paying went back in to hearing her using nail clippers on him, took him back to do his glands and wasnt even 15 seconds he was brought back out to me. I get into the truck and his nails are splint and jagged. So disappointing. To fast

I attempted to use a PETCO 20 percent off coupon and a manufacturer's coupon for $3 off on the Wellness Dog food. I was told I could only use one. A PETCO coupon is separate from a manufacturer's coupon and I have used both before. Prices are WAY too high.
