Visiting from out of town...I went to use the restroom- locked with a sign saying ask an employee for the key. A few minutes later I found an employee- "I don't have a key. Go to the cashier." I walk up to the cashier- people waiting, no cashiers. About a minute later one returns and starts helping a customer. I asked politely and rather urgently for the key ... Heavy sigh, hands me the key attached to a dirty stuffed toy with no eye contact or words. I thank him very nicely. When I return the key with a thank you, he points to the counter, again no eye contact or words.The large diameter poles attached to the carts prevented us from shopping in the fish area because one in our group used the cart for balance.The isles are blocked in most areas and we had to move displays to get around. If our person had brought in the walker or wheelchair, they would not have been able to get around.The store is full of moth type bugs.The female cashier and one makes on the floor were pleasant.Just not a great experience... Sad because we love our local Petco

Be careful, we have always bought natures recipe from target we ordered from petco same food they have been eating for over a decade not one, two but all three of my dogs got super sick. I noticed the kibble was a little different looking just be careful when buying. Not necessarily blaming the store but don’t know why they are so different. One from petco is the bad the good bag bought from target is the bag kibble.

Taylor was kind and gentle with my not-very-social Jack Russell mix. She must have felt his love for animals because she was relaxed and happy when I came to pick her up. Taylor said she was a "good dog" even during her nail trim, which is a first! So glad I found such a nice groomer who Trixie seems to trust. I will definitely be back.

I buy grain free kitten food in cans. Big selection of brands to choose from I bought 12 cans for 89 cents each. Good deal! Some of the brands are expensive. So far I'm being lazy about making food for my little one. So I'm pleased with what I'm finding here.

Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience! Needed cat food for our community cats and found it easily. Best part was visiting the aquatic department and seeing well cared for fresh and salt water aquariums. Staff person Ben is very knowledgeable and helpful with both aquatic environments.

Today I went in to buy a veiled chameleon and Casey (the manager) was more than happy to help. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable on the subject. He checked prices for me and went above and beyond to make sure the pet I brought home with me was going to be well taken care of. Even though they were close to closing he never once seemed bothered and was overall incredibly helpful. I deeply appreciate his help and think he should get a raise! There was also only two employees working at the time and they were very busy but he was able to multi task efficiently and come back to check that everything was in order with my purchase 👍🏼

I highly recommend Daisy M. in the grooming shop at the Petco at Broadway and Craycroft! She did an amazing job on my Black Pug, and I've only been this impressed with one other groomer, my own ex-fiance Jennifer! Daisy has a repeat client here!

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE SHOPPING FOR AMPHIBIANS/ REPTILES!!!! I am always disappointed walking into this specific Petco. I honestly don't even know where to start. It's so messy and cluttered in the reptile/ amphibian section. Looking at the animals in that area, their poop was shoved to a corner, and the leopard geckos looked malnourished. There were no fresh crickets, and in the prepackaged ones, 90% of them were dead! Being a leopard gecko owner, I wouldn't want to eat dead smelly crickets. Even the employees didn't know when they were going to get the next shipment of crickets. This Petco clearly prioritizes dogs and cats over reptiles and amphibians.

Awesome customer service from Brittany, I believe was her name. Very knowledgeable, even on the topic of breeding guppies. She was also able to help with any dog questions I had. First time owning a dog and found a stray pit. With Petcos help, she's doing great and is a happy healthy dog, with excellent temperament. Thanks Brittany!

My Milo has damaged paws. She went for grooming and nail trimming. The groomer reassured us that she would take her time because of Milo's paws. Milo was groomed and nails trimmed with no trauma. Great job Petco!

The item i went for was unavailable at that location but she called around for me 1 was out also and other was out of my boundaries due to bus. Will be ordering ordering online, through their website, but probably not until after new years day.

Waiting for a tow truck for MANY hours in the petco parking lot, we took the very well groomed dog into petco. Asking ANGEL (now hilarious-as they were NO angel) if they had water we could BUY to give the dog... ANGEL said,"no, we have no water for sale" 'ok, is there any water for my dog?" Angel again responded with "NO".. "do you have ANY water in the store?" ANGEL responded ,"there's a water fountain in the back, but your dog can't reach it" WHAT???? it's 100 degrees, PETCO has no water! WE were able to purchase water next door and waited for a taxi. The TAXI driver recalled 2 times spending over $350.00 in a Petco and upon asking to use the restroom was told "It's CLOSED!" This is the SAME story I've heard from OTHER actual customers!!! I fully understand that perceived 'unsavories' take advantage of restrooms..... but $350!?!?!?! and NO RESTROOMS..... Even then... Petco has no water for pets.... PetNO NOT PETCO!!!!! shame shame shame! I Buy fish here fairly often and have never lost a fish from this location. Unfortunately as a past pet industry insider, I feel sad im forced to shop at Petco or Petsmart after they have destroyed a once thriving retail industry.

When I walked into the store, I asked for help to find a certain product. The salesperson, Jesse immediately smiled and proceeded to lead me to the product, plus similar products so i would have a selection of items. He was witty, funny, and had such a radiant smile, I could see he truly wanted me to have a good experience in the store. He waited to see if these were the products I was looking for, before he left. I didn't feel rushed at any time...great customer service! store was aesthetically pleasing to the eye and smelled clean!

Had an appointment for my dog to get his shots at 5:50 and they were so backed up I couldn’t even get him shots, if you have an appointment I’d plan on it being about an hour or two after your actual scheduled time

The store recently made it so their carts are unable to leave the building. As someone who buys 40-50lb bags of dog food and cat litter I don’t want to have to make 2 or 3 trips from the store to my car just to load up. I also don’t want to have to ask employees to help me to my car every time I shop there. Unfortunately I’ll be taking my business elsewhere due to this change.

My two dogs come here all the time for grooming. The staff is always friendly and the haircuts are always carefully done. I love that you can book services online. This location often has adoption events with local animal rescue groups, too.

Been coming to this Petco for years and have never had a bad experience!Cannot report much on grooming services, but the staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable about products and animals.We have bought several family pet hamsters here and they have all lived their full life expectancy.They also partner with rescues and host adoption days, we got our family dog from this location and she is all we could have asked for and more!The location is open late which is very convenient and allows for the store to be fairly quite in the evening as there is no rush for last minute shoppers !
