One of the few places that carry the dog food for my older dog with diabetes They will order it for you if they don't have it. They always call and let you know when the order is received. The store is clean.The people are kind & knowledgeable. I've dealt with this store for many years with all different kind of supplies. Usually it's the same people. I drive a little further but I would rather go there and know what i'm getting is good quality and I can get help & information on products and supplies from the people if I need it.

OK Feed carries items that you won't find in the chain pet stores at reasonable prices. I am able to stay on top of vaccinations for my dogs by purchasing them at OK and administering them myself. My dogs love this place and the treats we get for them here.

Amazing staff and customer service. Today I realized I was almost out of dog food, and live pretty far from the store; therefore, I wouldn’t be able to make it there after work before they closed. I called and the woman I spoke to, (so sorry can’t remember her name) was very polite, helpful and worked with her staff to make sure I could have my dog’s food delivered today. Will definitely continue to buy my dog’s food, and other supplies from OK Feed! And my two boys thank you as well! Photos of the little boogers below.

I like shopping here for Guinea pig and dog needs. They have nice Guinea pig pellets, alfalfa hay cubes, and other emergency kit items like bene-bac probiotics, critical care, Ivermectin and Terramycin. For my dogs, I like how they sell “Natural Dog Company” products. I like the Alaskan salmon oil as well as skin/paw soothers. Great products, great prices! They also have all sorts of other stuff for other farm animals. The staff has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am a happy customer every time I shop here.

I don't even know how long I've been going here. As long as I've had dogs in Tucson. Even though the business changed ownership a few years ago, it didn't miss a beat. It still feels like a family-owned business and the staff, as always, are great.

My dog has B cell lymphoma and I’m having the worst time getting him to eat anything, that I’ve essentially given up on dog food. Thank you so much for your help on Friday. I got him to eat almost 2 cans of dog food today after coaxing him with some of the wisdom kibble yesterday. He thinks the primal pork nuggets are treats now. This is huge because he’s been almost exclusively eating rotisserie chicken for the past week but decided he didn’t like that anymore. You have such a huge selection of different foods, textures, and flavors to choose from. I haven’t been able to get him to try the tripe yet, but he ate the hunk of beef and the drummet dinner by Evanger’s.

After sally the owner at valley feed store got upset and told me not to come to her store anymore because I didn’t give her some chickens I was giving free for a family, I went to OK feed store because I work on this side of town. I was impressed with the variety of feed they carry and not only that! They have great prices! Highly recommend this feed store. Will be back for more feed. Thank you guys!

My dog contacted Parvo after two vaccines. I had taken her to the vet and done the treatment prescribed which did not help. She was near death. I had read about a parvo treatment product called Paxxin which had good reviews and called all the pet stores and natural food stores in town and could not find it. Desperately, on a whim I called OK Feed Store and they carried it. I began treating her and combined with much prayer, she has made an astonishing recovery. I am so grateful.

UPDATE:To the stores wild response:My girlfriend was not 'urged' to see a vet. We had an appointment scheduled. We told you that. How does that make us negligent? We requested a couple of recommendations on what we could use until that appointment. We also did not feel that the staff member was belligerent at all. Just didn't care and wanted to get off the phone. I was there for the call. The employee was passive, and not willing to get someone else on the phone. She asked like 3x.The feedback we received from the store when sharing our experience was pretty dismissive.. and kind of overreactive. We are both frustrated with the results of that interaction, because: We continuously stated that 1- we were not seeking medical advice, 2- our interest was made clearly, like 4 times, we said were calling to see what kind of products ok has for skin irritation.. maybe someone could have told us what is most popular for these kind of complaints. We wanted something for the skin.. not medicine. Our dog isn't dying or anything. Just itchy. Seems like ok probably has stuff for that. 3- we asked like 3 times to talk to someone knowledgeable about the products.. That would have been very helpful, because nothing we tried online and from big pet stores was working and the vet appointment was over a week out. We didn't want to keep driving all over town if it was all the same stuff. Just wanted to know what kind of skin stuff they had.We got a wild over-reaction to our feedback. Instead of anything helpful, which is weird. That really sealed it in for us. That's why I'm writing this review. We recommended OK to lots of people over the years.. like, a lot of people. And that is for 2 reasons: 1, have different products & 2, know a lot about those products. That has completely changed. This was a resource to lose.. but stores change. I would have wanted to know. I read reviews. We are very active in providing feedback to the community. There is absolutely nothing wrong with writing a bad review. Maybe if OK would have reached a hand out, the results would be different. I wanted to call the next day, see if someone else was helpful. But the reply online was like they don't even care anymore. I mean, who gets in fight mode over a bad review?As far as someone else, we have no idea. It's just me and my girlfriend. Maybe you're getting negative responses because someone had a negative experience. Maybe whoever was answering the phone that day was having a bad day. Maybe they were very busy and needed a coffee. Either way, we can only speak for ourselves. And our experience was bad. That's just us. And that's okay. A review isn't a personal attack. UPDATE: OK keeps responding in a very unhappy way. (See Photo) This aggressive-worded response to my review is bizarre. I looked up their negative reviews, and it seems to be the way they deal with bad reviews, just make stuff up. I digress: I called, I told the person on the phone, whos voice sounded like a young male of which I was mistaken, that I wanted something I could use before my dogs vet appointment. My vet couldn't get him in immediately. My partner was there for the call, and also reviewed. That is not slander.. this was our experience. Simple. I wasn't even rude, I just decided to get off the phone because it was unhelpful. And that is okay. Our experience is not going to bring you down. It is not "Slander". They're just reviews. I'm not on social media. No fliers.. just a review. If you think Im wrong, ok. That's fine. Either take it and see what went wrong, or let it go. It's not a huge deal. Maybe you're having a bad day. This is just a negative experience I had. No one came into your store and caused damage, I did not make any threats.. it's going to be okay. I had a bad experience, doesn't mean I can, or want to, bring you down at all. You'll be alright, OK. I wouldn't even give another thought to it without your response.UPDATE: I was asking about products. Not for medical advice. I made that abundantly clear. Fell on deaf ears. I don't know if you have antifungal/ antibacterial/ antu itch/ lidocaine ointments, or what kind of probiotucs you offer and if they offer anything different from the food that he is on. These are most certainly answers that could have been provided. I don't know who I spoke with- they did not offer a name.They use to give fantastic information over the phone. But today, I talked to a young gentleman who kept saying "we don't diagnose," which I *repeatedly* assured him I wasn't expecting, and didn't even want. I just wanted to know what products they had, learn a little bit about them, so I could make an informed decision on what I thought was best to start with. His only advice was come look at products and see what you want. Yea, that's how stores work.I kept asking to speak with someone knowledgeable, as I'm all the way out in Vail, but all I got was this unhelpful and unknowledgable boy. I'm not driving all that way for someone so unhelpful. They sell products everywhere; I go to Ok Feed, which is a 45 minute drive one way, for the knowledge. The employees use to have an abundance of knowledge and knew the differences in their products. They had spared my dog many discomforts because they were so knowledgeable. They had always guided me correctly in the past, when the vet had failed me. I'm not going to be able to get into the vet for weeks, so I needed a temporary solution. He did not care at all. Wasn't knowledgeable about what kind of products they have, either. Was trying to get me off the phone, and I desperately need urgent help for my dog.Clearly, something has changed. Would no longer recommend. The only thing that had set them apart was their knowledge, which is no longer the case. I kept trying to talk to someone else, but he refused. Will now buy from Taylor Tack and Feed, which is not only substantially closer to me, but more affordable. Taylor Tack and Feed doesn't have knowledgeable staff either. But it looks like I'm not going to get that at OK anymore, so I may as well pay less and save an hour's worth of drive time round-trip.Extremely disappointed to lose this gem of a resource.

The people here have always been kind and informative. I've always appreciated the welcoming environment they create. We have a cat that needs a specific kind of Urinary tract food or else he will get very ill, the one the vets suggest is so high in calories he became a very chubby boy. Talking to OK feed and getting better informed it turns out it's just the food Vets push because they get a payout for it! There's better food out there for this! Anyway now we get the N&D brand and it's great, though he is still a chubby boy.We recently got covid and were not able to come in to the store but needed more of this special food for our cat so they worked with us that we can pay over the phone and they'd drop it off in our trunk.Thank you for everything OK Feed

Great selection of quality (not just commercial low quality food) dog and caf food. Carries the Italian brand Farmina, and I prefer to get local vs delivered. Also carry a large selection of dehydrated and frozen raw pet foods. I make a long drive to get over to the location but glad they have so many varieties in stock at fair prices.

Poor customer service and lack of communicationRating: 1 starI had bad experiences at Ok Feeds and tried reaching the owner to report my concerns, but Michelle, the manager, didn't handle the situation properly, threatened to get a restraining order (bc I called several times to talk to owner) and showed poor customer service skills. The staff needs training and better people skills, or a new team altogether. Although they sell good hay, the lack of response and assistance, especially for disabled customers, isn't worth it. I believe that as an owner of a business, it's essential to listen to customers' feedback and concerns, but that wasn't the case with Ok Feeds. The counter employees are unfriendly and rude, especially when customer want to voice concerns and the service has a lot to be improved upon. I used to be a loyal customer, recommended others, and spent an average of $100 to $400 weekly, but things are just getting worse and I feel uncomfortable the last few times after attempting to speak to owner and being denied the opportunity. Although service and communication are significant factors, it's easy to trust a product, but it's hard to keep unsatisfied customers coming back. Therefore, I won't return to Ok Feeds, even if I have to pay higher prices, because being valued and appreciated as a customer means more to me than the paying less for the product. Lastly, I hope that Michelle and the team can learn from their mistakes and understand the importance of mediation and customer service skills.

We have been going here for years despite it being a bit of a drive to get here. They always have everything we need and are very friendly. I get Timothy hay for my rabbit here because he likes this one the best. They also carry the food that I have been feeding my parrot for 17 years as well as seed for my rescue pigeon. I've tried other places but OK Feed is the only one that never disappoints.

I was a loyal customer until they refused to exchange expensive pet food that my cats did not like. I bought a dozen and was told that I could return/exchange is my pets did not like. Apparently, the women did not disclose that they have a 30 day return policy. I attempted to return at 40 days and was refused a refund or exchange for the pet food. I was wanting to keep my business local and where I was spending $100/mo in quality cat food..but since OK Feed did not give me quality customer service, I will no longer buy from OK Feed and will spread the word. I think a one time exception should had been granted for a loyal customer! Especially, in todays economy for small businesses. Shame on OK feed!

Purchased Essence dog food from them and the bags are almost expired went to chewy and purchased same brand with experation for 2023. Besides that the shop is clean, they have a nice selection of dog treats, toys, supplies and raw organic products for your companion. Will visit again hopefully they will have fresh batches of this food.

I love this store for everything critter related. The staff are all experienced and are super helpful. Several times I've gone in with pet food related issues IBS in dog, cat after oral surgery) and they've always been helpful. This morning one of the staff saved the day and maybe my cat by recommending the perfect fix. Happy cat= happy me. Plus it's fun to wander around the store checking out all the cool merch. Hats, hummingbird supplies, baby chicks, and dried duck heads. Best eva!

Dropped in for my first time ever looking for dog food for my senior guy. I decided to give this small, local place a try instead of the Big Box pet stores. Right away I was greeted by "Hi, can I help you find anything?" Well, Michelle walked me thru the complicated dog food world and helped me get the best thing for my dog. Love this place so much. I hate when I bring my pup to PetSmart and they ask if my dog can have one of those wheat filled, really unhealthy biscuits. My dog is only raw fed and he has a really sensitive stomach when it comes to processed treats and food so I always have to tell them no.When they offered at the feed store, I got nervous and said no thank you but decided to ask what was in it. The cashier told me that it was only turkey liver so I said “oh of course he can have one of those!!!” She was very sweet when she gave it to my pup and when I got home and unpacked the stuff I bought, the cashier had put the entire bag of treats in there for him 😍 he absolutely loves them.It was such a sweet gesture and just made me love this place more than I already do ❤️ It’s tough finding already prepared raw food options but they have many! My pup LOVES there little raw treat bar and has tried just about everything they have. Everyone there is beyond sweet, always. They’ve always been super helpful when I ask questions or need help finding something. I bring my pup to a lot of different stores, patio restaurants, parks, hiking spots.. but this is by far his favorite place ☺️

As a newcomer to the wonderful world of chicken ownership, I had plenty of questions to make sure I was on the right track. The employees at OK Feed were incredibly helpful when answering my questions! The poultry expert, whose name I believe is Patrick, was so helpful on multiple occasions and really helped me to become a better chicken owner. Great selection of quality products and staff who always greet you with a smile! My dog also loves visiting OK Feeds, since he often gets offered a cookie by our new friends there. I highly recommend OK Feeds for all your critter needs!
