This location is over crowded, rushed and herds you around. The security here is a bigger nuance than the actual homeless. This location reminded me why I no longer shopped at Frys. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Denise was extremely rude. Only one cashier with major lines. Why don't you guys think about the elderly? They hold up the self checkouts and it's not their fault. You guys are not providing a good service for the diverse customers. Get real people in check outs. Self checkout 8 and 9 are a joke.

The inside of this store is fine, no issues with the food, layout, etc. I would warn others about the bathrooms and the parking lot, though. The bathrooms always looks dirty and homeless & crazy people hang out there. Once a woman stared at me the entire time I was in the bathroom and yelled at me after I was finished washing my hands...weird. As for the parking lot, both my daughter's car and my car have been hit while we were inside the store shopping. The passenger side mirror was broken off her car and my back window was completely smashed. I only go here when I absolutely have to, then I try to shop as quickly as possible.

Buyer beware as the addage goes. But at this store not because of quality of product but rather by the very nature this store enables thievery from your vehicle. My story is this: on 02/10/24 at 9:40 pm I rode my bicycle to this store and locked it securely to the cart rack right in front. 15 minutes later I went back to my bike only to discover my brand new $100 Blackburn lightset installed that day was stolen. I immediately spoke with the manager Jose who stated yes it would be on video but that I needed to file a police report (in Tucson that type of crime must be reported on line). So I "happily" complied and 4 days later I was able to find Jose working while I too was available. When attempting to give Jose the police report he stated that the police report must be submitted by a police officer. You have got to be kidding me. So now we enable thievery by mandating a police report to be filed before action can be taken {and in many cases that has culminated in a time lapse whereby there is now a higher probability of that video not being available}. But now we increase those odds exponentially into the thiefs favor by first having to file online and then finding an officer willing to tackle that task. if I were a thief I would be thrilled with a 1-in-1000 odds of a security video even being reviewed.Hey Fry's, employ that security tactic in store to combat shoplifting. Instead, even on a scant of suspicion you run the video and pass any potentially negative info to all relevant associates. So happy to see you value a can of vegetables (what 34 cents cost to you) higher than hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars of customer property. Your moral compass is so screwed up I'm surprised you could find yourself in your parking lot. Oh have no fear, we'll get a police report filed and an officer involved so as to find you

Bought a sandwich from the deli on my lunch break. It had several bites that were hard as a rock, as if the lettuce wasn't washed or something. So I went to the customer service counter and encountered the rudest and most unpleasant woman I've ever dealt with before. She argued with me for several minutes about how I have to bring the plastic box that the sandwich came in. I told her that I spit food back out into it, so I threw it away because that would have been gross. She then sighed heavily and gave me the most horrendous look I've ever received. Like she wanted me to stop existing because she had to do the unimaginable task of walking 20 steps to the deli to get one of the barcodes. I will never return to this Fry's.

This is about what I expected from a grocery store in Tucson. I found everything I needed, although I had to put one item back because it was damaged to exchange it for a new one. The items also seemed picked over at some sections, such as yogurt and bread. Overall, I would come back but be aware of what day you choose to go.

A four pack of expo markers came with only three markers. It must be a manufacture error, but I had to still pay full price. No fun 10% off would’ve been nice.

I have shopped at this Fry's for many years.! Groceries went from when I was spending about 500-600 a month to 1200 as much as a much as the mortgage. Even better the staff at the self check out is rude . I have never stolen anything but it really bothers me when the disrespectful MANAGER at the self check out stands there staring at me because of their faulty equipment. We are forced to ring ourselves out bag and then be badgered. I am glad the grocery industry is doing so well. When the lady was rude after spend 250.00 she has audacity to tell me I don't care if you don't shop here any more. Way to go manager . If that was my store you would be FIRED . Losing a customer

I go here often I am normally a valued customer and normally spend probably around $800 per month in the store I went to get gas the other day on Saturday the 21st with my debit card I know I had a balance that would have covered the amount of gas I was trying to get I did not want to pay at the pump as it's sketchy with the skimmers so I paid at the window swipe my card she said it charged my card for a $1.70 not for the 19. 00 order that I had for gas and cigarettes so she had me swipe again another 1.70 charged the third time I swiped it was completely declined. So in order for me to pay for the gas I had to take the cigarettes off of the order and she had to cancel the entire order and re-ring it up. That day I paid $11 in cash for gas the other transaction was completely canceled. I immediately called my card to find out what had happened listen to the last 10 transactions. It said there was a hold on my card for a $1.70. It also said there was a hold on my card for 19.26. Immediately I could not understand why I couldn't just pay for my gas when I had the money on the card and then they held all the money on my card. I call customer service they gave me a 1-800 number. The customer service number for fuel they gave me said that should have never happened when I wasn't paying at the pumpThey gave me they gave me a case number and alleged special code to give to my card holder to have the money released immediately which my card holder does not have authority to do. Meanwhile the $11 in cash I took out of my pocket that day to pay for the gas wasn't my food money for myself and my child this week. I call customer service again this morning and was hung up on after being put on hold for 20 minutes to go find a supervisor. There is no sign at the gas station Windows saying if you have your money in your card and you use your PIN to pay for gas with debit they will hold money. So I'm being told two different stories this is my child support card it is not a bank card so the card place tells me it was Fry's fuel that put the hold on my card and Fry's fuel is telling me that my card company put a hold on my card so which is it and I have to wait 7 days to get the to get the money back that I had from the beginning if the transaction was canceled all together then why did they take then why did they take my money. This is a huge inconvenience and a customer service is very shity.. how do I explain to a 14 year old child with autism that we have to wait 7 days to get our dinner. I've never had this happen before when you have money on your debit and enter a PIN to pay for something the money is not supposed to be held and freeze your card in order to pay for it that doesn't work like that I would appreciate if somebody from the actual store would give me a call and comprehend what I am trying to say

It’s so annoying trying to purchase chicken or anything from the deli the employees act like your invisible, they act like they can’t see you …get some employees who actually want to work and not avoid customers, if it wasn’t for us customers buying from the store period they would not have a job there was 3 employees standing around and not helping customers this is ridiculous 😡😡😡

Having recently moved to a new area and the fact that I'm now calling this store my new home grocery store has had a very positive and highly educational effect on me. I'm quite familiar with the Kroger name since being raised in the midwest United States as a child. I find the selection here at Fry's to be a real joy at this store, and that and their employees all share a refreshing dedication to their collective success. There's a real commitment to an uncommonly high level of customer service that's simply hard to find.

For the worst shopping experience of your life, come here at around 5pm on a weekday. You will:1) Probably get hit by a cell-phone-using driver in the parking lot2) Quickly be lulled into making bad food choices by decision fatigue and the utter chaos of 127,000 shoppers crammed into a single building3) Be overcharged at self checkout (you went to self checkout because you hope robots will take over all human jobs)4) Wait for 10 minutes for customer service because Kroger intentionally short staffs their stores5) Discover, back at home, that every single item you bought contains just three ingredients: high fructose corn syrup, vegetable oil, diabetesI plan on visiting again soon so I can give more money to CEO Rodney McMullen, you greedy piece of Kroger produce.

They stopped carrying gluten free tortillas in every store!! It has forced me to shop elsewhere since tortillas are a weekly purchase for me. I'm a bus rider and it's not convenient for me to go to multiple stores. Good job Fry's. And unfortunately this status has not changed. I now do 99.9% of my shopping with their competitor since they have all my gluten free needs. However the service was great tonight. I do miss shopping at frys . Update, still no tortillas. I've been shopping at fry's for 30 plus years. Sad they would give up such a dedicated customer for so many years.

Worst frys in town, came for a 7.99 deal on snow crab legs asked this colored man who was in the meat department if they had any of the crab legs and all he told is there 48$ I was specifically asking about the crab legs on the weekly ad which this dude could not tell me a straight answer too. Even the manager got involved because the colored gentlemen just kept saying I'm just running my mouth while making motions with his hands, but yet the manager did nothing to help. Went to the frys up the street at 4036 N 1st Ave and they were able to get me the weekly sale price on a 4lbs box which wasent exactly what they had in the ad and which the other store had a bunch of and just had no intention of helping me with my purchase. Will never come back to this store where the associates nor the manager have any care to help there customers, what a shame these people even have a job serving the community.

Horrible store. Just got into town to drop my son off to College. I needed to stop at the store to pick up a few things before I headed back to Phoenix. I needed to use the restroom I ask the supervisor Linda where the restroom was and her response was we don't have one of those here anymore. ?? You don't have one of those here anymore? What kind of response is that. I asked her how do you and the other employees use the restroom here? She responds with all we don't. I'm sorry but I don't think the restroom just packed it stuff up and left. Shame on shame on Kroger.

So, I do not think I will ever be going back to this store. Apparently, they have a magnetic anti-theft device that stops your cart on the way out the door. I used a normal register with a cashier when I checked out and had my receipt in my hand while leaving the store. Instead of politely asking to see my receipt on my way out they triggered the device quickly ran up to my cart and started nosing around without saying a word to me. No explanation just a halfhearted "I'm sorry" as they walked away. Listening to the staff speaking to each other it is apparent they have a shoplifting problem at this store.Management if this is truly the case hire more staff and train them to provide above board customer service. It is hard for someone to steal from you if there is always someone nearby and available to assist them with their shopping experience. The reduction in theft and the increased numbers of patrons will more than offset the added staff's salaries.

I don't know how the night supervisor Raul was given this title he has horrible customer service. Sadly im not the only one who has experienced this his co workers have it worse i feel sad dealing with his behavior for hours. The times i have come to shop and he is there the employee's are rude they look upset some tired corporate please talk with this man no one should be treated and spoken badly too, you are losing good customer's and employees.

Some staff is okay. But I will never be coming back after the mind blowing demeaning treatment I got from a guy that looked like one of the managers named Mike. The guy is a disgrace and should never work anywhere requiring him to have contact with customers. Although I wouldn't trust him around any sharp objects either

They improved their card readers and the sushi guy does a great job, so I upgraded them from 1 to 3 stars. It's kind of a grubby and cluttered location. No excuses for that.

Fry's (Kroger) in general is a great store and I shop there often as they typically have great deals, are well-stocked, and have a variety of items to choose from that most other grocers lack in the area. However, this particular location seems to be the worst in Tucson. I've shopped here a few times and the store is usually a mess, their bakery and produce departments leave much to be desired, and the customer service is severely lacking. The other day an employee in produce apparently couldn't be bothered while he was having a casual convo with a co-worker and gave me an attitude when I kindly asked them where an item was located after searching the store on my own twice. I'll gladly drive an extra couple of miles down the road to a different Fry's and would not recommend this location whatsoever.

I stopped to grab water on sunday 7/30 at. 9:47 i arrive at the door and is cloaed already the couple who was already there and asking why they are closing early were told very rudely by Raul that the atore was closed because he had to then proceeded to slam the door on them. This is not the first time he cloaes early or is very rude to customers and his staff.please fix this paying customer's should not have to deal with this and most of the time is him Raul.
