I am so grateful I found Camino Verde Pet Resort! I've been coming here for almost two years now and I will keep coming back. My dog is always taken care of and she always comes home her happy and normal self. Andreas is the best! He is friendly and welcoming and really knowledge with animals. Their prices are reasonable and fair and they have always helped accommodate me when needed. Their individual indoor/outdoor kennels is just what I was looking for my shy girl. I love knowing that my girl will be safe while I'm away. I will always recommend this place! Thank you Andreas and team for all the work you do.

I had to travel OCONUS. They took for wonderful care of our working dogs and pet dogs. All dogs were in good health and in good shape. My team and my family were very happy.

This is an update of a previous 4 star rating.We are so pleased! As my wife said, "We have our dog back!" Her point was that this was the most satisfactory grooming we've had since Bingo came home from the SPCA some two or three years ago. I cannot imagine better grooming!

Did not answer my calls several times in the span of two days, with their voicemail message stating they were with a pet or client and would return missed calls if provided with a name and contact number.Unfortunately, they did not fulfill their promise.Now that I know what to expect from their services, I will definitely not be doing business with this place.

We've been boarding our dog here for 15 years. She is shy and picky and actually likes coming here. Andreas, the owner, is very knowledgeable (he's a Schutzhund trainer), helpful and friendly. Prices are the best I've seen in Tucson (or anywhere I've lived).

I normally don’t write reviews but the experience we encountered was worth posting. My dog was added on to the schedule for grooming appointment at this location. I called the number on website and was looking to know a rough estimate on the services my dog was getting due to my mother being the responsible person picking up and dropping my dog off since I was unable to take her to this appointment. I spoke to Andres who was not the most helpful and seemed annoyed and short with me on the phone got a rough estimate and ended call. After 2 hours of my dog being at this place we receive a voicemail from a lady stating that my dogs behavior was aggressive and no work was going to be able to be done. I immediately think to myself that this scenario is strange because she is not known to be aggressive at all. I then call back the number on website to further discuss voicemail and I get Andres on the phone again and I asked to be transferred to grooming and explain the voicemail I received, he then says he would return my call which he does promptly. He then states that my pet was being very aggressive again and no work could be done on her due that and that if groomers at this location couldn’t get her to cooperate then no place would be able to do it and more than likely would have to see a veterinarian. I was so overwhelmed and taken back because my pet has been to 3 different groomers prior to this place and has had many grooming appointments before this one so that really didn’t make any sense to me. Andres tone of voice and customer service over the phone was very poor when relaying what he was told which didn’t help the situation I was in. I then decided to call our normal groomer location and told her what had just happened, she took a look at my pets records and informed that they had no records of my pet ever being aggressive nor similar behaviors.It was at that point I finally realized if my dog was in fact behaving the way they stated then that was her way of letting me know that this is not a good place for her.Just wanted to share my experience in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else here and in hopes that customer service gets better at this location and you sympathize with your customers when there’s a conflict and help find solutions for them.Thank you.

I had to have major surgery out of state and needed care for 5 cats... with only a week's notice. Camino Verde not only accommodated my last minute reservation, but took excellent care of my kitties. They were all scared and unhappy to be away from home, but Andreas made sure that they were all as comfortable as possible and was able to administer medication to our feral boys. He was also really easy to work with and an all around friendly person. When we texted to check on the cats, he responded quickly and was very helpful.We were also very happy with the condition of our cats when we picked them up. They were clean and free of any kind of parasites, their litterboxes were scooped and they had a full bowl of food and water. We treated them with Frontline prior to boarding, but the kennels were reasonably clean and I didn't see any signs of infestation. The rates were also extremely reasonable for 5 cats, with two needing daily medication.We won't board our pets anywhere else!

I recently boarded my cat here and the service was great. I was nervous about leaving my cat somewhere unfamiliar for so long, but the workers helped assure me that he would be well taken care of. They gave updates on how he was doing and sent pictures of him when we asked for them. Overall very happy with my cats stay and definitely recommend them!

I really like the owner, Andreas. He's good with the animals and very friendly. I boarded my cat there and had her groomed. The prices were very reasonable compared to other places in town.

I bought my female GSD from here and she is the smartest dog I've ever met. I have been boarding her with Camino Verde Pet Resort since she sad 12 weeks old. She loves it when we pull in the driveway. She loves all the workers, but especially Mr. Mueller. I swear if he would let her she world jump into his arms!!!! I have never had a bad experience in the many times I've had to board her. Amazing facility and amazing people!!

I have had positive experiences boarding my dogs here. They have been very accommodating of my less than social dog (and his overly social companion). Both come have come home happy and healthy after their stays. I appreciate their honesty and the effort they put in for my pets.

I have two great Danes. Generally even dog professionals will balk at three hundred pounds of dog. Not this place. My dogs love coming here and are well cared for every time.

Excellent pet resort I have been bringing my pet to this facility for over 7 years. It’s very comforting knowing my dog is in good hands when I have to go out of town. In the past I have tried other pet resorts and this is the best by far, always very clean and my dog can go in and out as he chooses in his private area plus very reasonable rates. Andreas (the owner) is also an excellent trainer. I recently purchased a puppy and he has had about 5 lessons so far, when people visit my home they can’t believe how well behaved he is. I highly recommend this facility.

Experienced owner ALWAYS returns calls. He is extremely educated in the care and training of dogs. He was genuinely concerned when one of our dogs was having skin allergies, and made recommendations for supplements that the Vet approved of. The grooming is beautiful, they do it all. We even took two filthy strays that we found, covered in everything imaginable to them, and they looked like different dogs. I also remember they gave first set of shots. I highly recommend them. They won’t disappoint!

This was the best pet grooming place! They are very kind and "Baby" a 4 year old cat had never been out since she had her shots & was fixed! It took an hour to get her in the cage at home but Chris was awesome and was able to cut her hair which was terribly matted and cut her nails & bathe her! When she came out Baby was so happy, relaxed & calm!!! A brand new beautiful cat now!!! Thank you so much Camino Verde Pet Resort! I highly recommend them!!! We will be going there from now on!!!

Camino Verde Pet Resort took great care of our dog Tui for a week. We had a trip booked and at the last minute our at home sitter backed out. I has used this Kennel years ago when they were called "Coys". Would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Very happy with my boarding experience here. They even stayed open late for me, so that I could drop off my fur babies after work! My 2 cats were very well Aiken care of. Even took pictures for me to see them while I was away. Would definitely recommend Camino Verde Pet Resort.

We have used this kennel for the past few years with no problems. The staff is friendly and everything is reasonably priced. However, our last experience was bad. When we dropped the dog off I asked them to trim his nails. They acknowledged my request but on the day of pick up they hadn't cut his nails. The lady working that day said they didn't have the time. Then after coming home I noticed that there were ticks on my dog. I called and spoke to the owner, who said they are aware of the ticks and have their grounds treated bimonthly. Their customer service isn't worth the ticks on the dog, on my kids, or in my wife's car. After an additional $75 in pesticides I'm convinced that the drive to a farther kennel without ticks is well worth it.

I‘ve taken my kitten twice to Camino verde pet resort on very short notices and they always receive us with a warm welcome! The price for my kitten is beyond reasonable when they charge me 60% less than other groomers. The facility has a home-y feel, unlike other places that seem cold and lonely for your pet. The staff always goes beyond my expectations :) Thank you so much!

We stayed in Tucson over the Thanksgiving holiday and boarded our dog at Camino Verde. The staff was friendly and responsive, which made sending vaccine records and booking a breeze. The kennel was clean and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our dog.

I have boarded the cats in my life at Camino Verde Pet resort numerous times since 2012. Andreas and his staff -- Tamara, Vera, and Daniel -- have given me and my kitties helpful, excellent service each time I have needed cat boarding service, and have always greeted me and my cat warmly. The cat room is the best I've ever seen, having large runs with plenty of room to set up with items from home to make kitties feel comfortable. Once a trip away required I leave a newly weaned orphan kitten for a week -- I was nervous, and the staff took extra care that the kitten continued to eat well during my absence. They are patient with my questions, if I ever need to check in to see how my cat is doing. I really appreciate the location, and think the new pet transportation option is a valuable service. I am really glad I found Camino Verde Pet Resort shortly after moving to Tucson.

I am happy for the service provided by this pet resort. The boarding cost is cheaper than PetSmart and the cat owns separate studio with bench, cat litter box, and outdoor window. It's a lot better than accommodating pet in the small iron cottage as the famous chain competitor, and I also like to support local family business.Another good thing is that Andreas is willing to let me drop off and pick up my cat at his house in north area. His favor saves me a lot of driving time.

Our cat stayed here several times. They have nice rooms for cats, not just small shoebox containers like other places. Lots of room for the cat to move around and play. The staff spend time with the animals and give them attention, and take care of special diet needs. Every time I picked our cat up they let me know how well she did. You can tell they really care for the animals here. I was coming from the far east side of Tucson, so it was quite a drive but worth it. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Love this place! They always respond to calls, always. The professional and friendly staff do a beautiful job on grooming our Shepard mix dogs. They helped us with an urgent rescue situation and really saved the day. They give all shots but rabies. The owner is a dog trainer and really has a heart. I highly recommend this business.
