A great place to stop for a bite to eat. We visited for lunch after driving historic Route 66 and were met by the friendly staff. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! For what it's worth, the bathrooms were very clean too, which was much appreciated after the long drive. A few in our party ordered different desserts and each of them were great. And on top of all that, the gift shop had some great souvenirs to consider too. Definitely worth the stop!Kid-friendliness: Great environment for kids and your standard variety of kid meals to choose from.

We are heading to grand canyon South Rim and then had a quick stop for lunch. We are lucky that we made the right choice to dine in this place where they serve the best carrot cake I've ever had.I highly recommend this restaurant. Wow!! What an amazing restaurant! We loved the warm German kitschy vibe. We had very friendly & helpful wait staff! Bridgette was amazing!! The food was delicious comfort food. The Friday Night Fish dinner & the German Meat Loaf were fantastic! We also had the Carrot Cake & the Tuxedo Cake. Both spectacular. The portions are very generous. My husband & I ended up splitting meals. We highly recommend!!

I will drive a long way out of the way for this place. Oh man, the Choriza Burrito vacationed with me all day. My friend had country friend steak and it was still crisp under a perfect gravy. Both versions of breakfast potatoes were tasty - hashbrowns big & crisp while those potatoes (seasoned diced with green peppers and onions)They gave us a sampler of the carrot cake after we were dissapointed the fruit pie wasnt in season. Best carrot cake ever.In the area, just go there. You wint be sorry

Ann was amazing !!!! Even being as busy as she was, she was always kind, happy, and checked in on us with a smile. She was taking care of so many people it was impressive and she did it with such grace, and enthusiasm. The food was fantastic I had a bacon cheese burger and it was cooked and assembled to perfection. Despite a large party in front of us the food came out very fast and everyone seemed to be working as a team. What a wonderful experience!!!! Great food great service 10 out of 5 stars. Such a friendly atmosphere

The service was great as was the food. Plenty of parking and seating. You seat yourself when u come in. I recommend their route 66 special. Great coffee and you get a lot of food for your money. Good prices on the food and everything was clean. Nice bathrooms and a bar to sit at. Outside seating and a gift shop inside. We will definitely be back. Huge pancakes and delicious bacon.

Westside Lilo’s isn’t perfect — service on the patio was friendly but slow, and some of the dishes were pretty basic (e.g., the grilled-chicken entrée is served with no sauce, spice, etc.) — but ordering dessert here changes everything. The signboard out front mentions the renowned carrot cake, but it doesn’t do justice to the fact that the portion size equates to about a quarter of a Bundt cake. Not only that, but it’s the moistest non-layer cake you’ll come across and tastes completely homemade. It’s hard to bake a thick cake to perfection, but they manage just that. The cherry pie is fantastic too, served at just the right “mild warm” temperature, with a flaky crust and the perfect amount of filling. Worth a visit, especially if you enjoy dessert!

We came here for dessert after eating across the street and we immediately were greeted with smiling faces. An older lady came up to us and asked us how she could help, and we said we just dropped in to grab some dessert to go. And she gave us a description of all the desserts and was so friendly and quick to get us served. I got the coconut cream pie and my fiance got the carrot cake muffin. SO GOOD! That carrot cake was phenomenal and the coconut cream pie was just incredible. We loved every bite. Don't sleep on this sweet little diner.

Pretty good food. I had the southwest burger cooked no pink and the hand cut fries. My friend had the local favorite which he said was a bit below average. Typical processed cold cut meats with a little bit of lettuce, one slice of tomato and some good bacon. I think the bacon is what saved the sandwich for him. We did get dessert, I had their homemade carrot cake which is freaking massive! It is enough to feed two people easily. My friend had the white chocolate raspberry cake which he liked. The place was probably the average busy Saturday lunch hour for this town and the service was good. I would probably stop in again when passing through even if only to get fresh cut fries and carrot cake!

This place was great! We went around 8:30am and it was nice and quiet. It is dog friendly you will just need to sit in the patio area, so it might be chilly in the AM. Our server was prompt and friendly. The pancake was so nice and fluffy! Yum! The portions are huge so you might have leftovers. My husband enjoyed his omlette as well. Overall we were very satisfied with this little cafe.

I am learning to enjoy Lilos's more and more. Their menu is simple, but there is certainly something for everyone. Today, I felt like I needed something sweet, so I ordered a cinnamon roll. Big mistake for someone who does not eat much bread. This thing is HUGE!! The server only served me half and put the other half in a box. And I still was not able to finish the half I was served.. their staff is very friendly and welcoming. Highly, highly recommend it..
