FINALLY, a store in Salome that sells quality, fresh produce AND healthy food options. This wonderful town was literally a nutrition desert before MeL’s opened. The store has a good selection of organic and vegetarian options. The folks that run the place truly are among the best in the West. Deli style sandwiches are available during select hours, salads too. You can even sit outside and enjoy the incredible view of the desert while you eat. Some Saturday mornings there is a farmers market featuring local artisans. Don’t miss this spot to fill your belly and your camp cooler when passing through Salome.

Staying in Salome for the winter we were lucky to find Mel’s While its smallish market they have most everything you would need and if you ask for something they bring it to the store when they get supplies. You’ll find fresh vegetables, local meat, dairy, & general groceries. AND, they make fresh sandwiches & wrap for a quick & good meal. IDK if we’ll back in Salome next winter but if we are you can count on seeing us! Thank you for excellent customer service. your friends from Sequim on the OP. 😊 👍

You’ve got to try their Reuben sandwich! I love their great selection of groceries and fresh produce. They’re also my preferred propane refill spot. Not only do they have good prices, but I do t have to run in and ask for an attendant.

We had delicious sandwiches from the deli and enjoyed their dog-friendly outside seating. A small but nice selection of grocery staples including fresh produce and organic items.

Mel's Market Is a breath a fresh air for Salome.It all starts when you walk in and get greeted with a smile.This is an excellent grocery store with so many wonderful items to choose from.Mel's has very fair pricing considering Salome is well over an hour from the nearest big city.I was amazed at the wide verity of items in this store.If you like a Rubin sandwiches, then this is the place for you asthey also have a deli were they will make you a fresh sandwich.When you add in the propane filling service, it makesMel's Market my one stop shop in Salome.

Great place to stop. Real grocery’s in Salome. If you need it and they don’t have it Mel will go and get it. Great family friendly customer service. Best store in town. Highly recommend you stop in and look around.
