TLDR: We stopped here by chance and we’re not disappointed. Beautiful views, good food, and nice drinks!We sat outside and ordered from the window. The staff was very nice and the drinks and food came out quickly.We split the fish tacos, which were delicious and huge with tasty slaw. We each ate one of the two tacos and were full. We also ordered the brown butter cake with caramel and chocolate sauce- it was lovely! The parents with us ordered the foot long hot dogs, which were absolutely huge and we were told that they were very delicious. If anything, one hot dog could easily be split by 2 people.I ordered a Big Wave and he ordered a margarita. Both drinks were very good. If I lived around here, I’d very likely return.Parking: There is a free parking lot with plenty of spaces.

I had their regular cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Just average quality. Nothing special. Decent view of the lake but there are better spot along the road too.The only issue I had was with the bill. Upon checking my credit card transactions online, I noticed that my tip was changed to reflect a higher number. My credit card company credited me the difference. So, pay cash or check your statement because this is not right.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but the hours on the website are wrong. They do not open at 8 am on a Saturday. My friends and I road 2 hours out there to have food and drinks and arrived at 9:30 am. We asked the ladies who were working the store connected to the restaurant what time they opened and we were told 11am. So we decided to just enjoy the view until then. 11am came, we saw workers but they didn’t open till 11:30 am. They did not have hours posted on the any part of the building. It was a big disappointment. The food and drinks were very good but the over all experience was disappointing.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was nothing special but does have nice views of Roosevelt. The restaurant itself seems outdated. It seems as overtime they have had several menu changes and can’t make up their mind on food to serve. The food was delicious though, I was looking forward to the club sandwich and maybe some clam chowder, but they were no longer on the menu. I got the chicken sandwich instead. I loved the way that the toppings were on the side for me to add if I wanted. The reason I like this is the lettuce was actually crispy versus soggy from the heat of the meat. The one thing that I did not like was I chose French fries and the fries I received were sweet potato, I was not informed or asked if I wanted another option. They were okay, but I am not a sweet potato fan, so I was looking forward to reg fries. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us often. Overall it was a good experience and I will be back in the future

WOWZER… we got very lucky in a very remote area. We came to visit the Native American ruins at Tonto. We were hungry and the rangers recommended Finch’s. We absolutely had the best service and food on this side of the Mississippi River… LoL. We were greeted and welcomed in with the best hospitality ever. Our server Brenda was absolutely “PHREAKING AMAZING.” This is a great place to eat and if you love prickly pear margarita’s you’re in the right place. Atmosphere was okay. Bartender was nice. Waitress was a little snooty.Bbq plate was great. The mixed fried plate was horrible. Tater tots, french fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings all tasted like fish. They said they would take it off the bill but didn't.

What a great place! While camping at Roosevelt lake we ate here a couple of times. Each time the food was great and our server Brenda was fantastic as well. It was nice to take a break from camping to have a nice meal. It was laid back I didn’t feel weird being fresh off a jet ski. It was also very clean. When we go back to the lake we’ll be back here!

Good food. They need to get the service up to par. They struggled to get food out in an even time. I will say the owner is a fantastic person and they are a new venue. He made sure to welcome our group and make sure we had an excellent visit.

Handmade Pizza from 4pm-6pm.Reservations needed for inside sitting (inside there's also an arcade and bar).This place is really cool because it's not too rural or anything, but IS super peaceful and serene (the views are breathtaking, trust me). The food is pretty good (french fries are amazing and crispy, but pizza crust is a little dry). Finally, the customer service is OFF the CHARTS (one employee even offered to take a family picture).

Blow these lamos off and go to The Dam Grill and Chill up the road. We went to Finches tonight, website said they are open to 7:30, but seems they closed at 6:00. Nice lady said that manager said it was slow so they should close up. This is a business that is more interested in their own profit than honoring their commitment to their customers. If your website says you're open... You're open. That is the deal you made with your customers. Business 101! Why would I give them my money when they don't care about me... Only my money. Let's close them down!

I went for an outing with my grandparents while I was visiting them in Tonto Basin. The food here is EXCELLENT. I ordered the pretzel bites and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Absolutely amazing food! The food was phenomenal and the service was wonderful. Brenda served us and was outstanding with her customer service. This is definitely a small business and they take care of customers like they're family. I was expecting the food to take awhile just because restaurants take awhile during Covid but the food came out so fast! The beer was ice cold and decent prices for quality and service of food! We got to see the view of the lake while we ate and relaxed. Great way to spend the afternoon with family in a nice restaurant. If you're a local, make a day of it and go enjoy the food and the view. If you're from out of town, this is one of the best spots to eat. If your afternoon outing is between this and Payson, go here. You won't regret it!

Dang it people... visit this Outstanding restaurant. The prime rib sandwich should be enough to make a statement. But when I caught myself drinking the Au-jus because it and the Prime Rib was finished off in a smoker----- shut your face GOOD!THE GANG loved it. The owners went out of their way to take care everyone. Beautiful, we...I will return. P.s. Cold beer and Tasty Old Fashion!

The fish tacos were delicious. The opening waitress Sunday 8/6 morning was friendly. I thanked her for the delicious meals. She was very busy but carried on with a smile. I ordered fried pickles to start. Fried well, a nice crunch, but they were very salty. For lunch I had fish & chips. 4 fillets and a handful of fries. Ended up taking all the fried pickles, fries, and 2 filets home. Reheated in the air fryer for lunch next day. Fried pickles did not reheat well.Very pricey restaurant $35 with tip for lunch!!!!!

My husband and I walked into a disaster. Every empty table had dirty dishes on them. We decided to sit at the bar, which was also full of dirty glasses. Come to find out, they only had 2 girls working. They were getting slammed and didn't have time to clean up! Our food was good, and the bartender was doing the best she could, making drinks, taking orders, and cleaning up. Hopefully, they will find extra help soon. Great location by the lake! Kinda reminds me of home in Wisconsin.

Hopefully the new owners of the Marina will be able to do something about the service here. Waited over 30 minutes for a couple burgers and COLD onion rings. When I voiced my frustration that the 3 people that order after me were nearly done with their food before i received mine, the rudest waitress I have ever metsaid "well maybe theirs was easier." What the hell is easier than 2 burgers and cold onion rings and charging $45 for it?As the owner of a BBQ place in the valley I can promise that the only reason this young lady still has a job is because they have about 15 "help wanted" signs in the restaurant and are still short staffed.

What a way to spoil the perfect spot with an awful dining experience. The two servers who attended my four year old son and me were nasty and grouchy, with faces to match. The food was your typical deep freezer to deep fryer affair with no garnishes or imagination, but I would have forgiven that and the expected upcharge for the location if we had been treated with any sort of service.I was barked at to order immediately upon entering because the kitchen was closing soon (an hour before their posted closing time), then to pay upfront and wait for the food outside. Denied water in my water bottle even when I offered to pay! They wouldn't even tell me if I could drink from the tap. When the food arrived, they had given my son a cheeseburger even though I had expressly asked them for a plain hamburger. I just removed the cheese to avoid further interaction with those nasties. They locked one of the doors to the patio and when we tried to get in to use the bathroom, I was barked at once more to use the doors on the other side of the patio... because I can read minds, obviously.I say, if you don't know what service is, why are you in food service. Take it from someone who ran my own successful restaurant and treated every customer with courtesy... They got the tip they deserved: $0, as well as this honest review.

Stopped in after visiting the Tonto National Monument, excellent food and drinks! The onion rings are really really good, I had the fish sandwich, it was crispy, golden, and delicious. My gf had a pizza and the toppings were large and plentiful.The drinks were stiff and the prices were decent as well.
