Store has improved their look indoors. Limited hours of closing at 10pm are a limiting factor. Longer hours would improve my frequency of shopping here. With this location very close to the 24 hour hospital, the college and downtown Prescott Valley, it would benefit this location to expand hours to midnight or at least 11p. It is overcrowded most of the time currently.

I just moved to Prescott Valley and I wanted to shop at Safeway. The employees are very nice and helpful. The cashier Jan was very nice and went out of her way to help me. She is the best!

This was our first time at this Safeway. We were impressed with the produce selection and the meat department was much better than the store in Cottonwood. We'll be back.

Absolutely LOVE this store and the impeccable customer service they always provide to my family and me. They have fresh, delicious produce and bakery items, and the store has always been clean. Courtesy clerks actually know how to bag food properly, it’s amazing! Thank you, Safeway crew!Honestly dreading when it officially changes over to fry’s (Kroger) as that horrible company doesn’t focus on providing any form of good customer service at all. Most of the cashiers are beyond miserable as their attitudes towards their customers is the most raunchy - it shows. Their baggers literally throw the foods in a bag and slam them down in the cart. Absolutely ridiculous! Do better, Fry’s. Seriously!Safeway WINS!

Amazing customer service and staff!I accidentally forgot some refrigerated items at the self checkout during a horribly hectic day and didn’t realize until hours later. Sharon at the customer service desk and Janet at self checkout were so wonderful in helping me replace my groceries and sort out the situation, they were a complete blessing during a bad day and I am so thankful for their professionalism and kindness!

Good store. Nice customer Service.Has a Starbucks inside.They are remodeling the store so kinda hard to find what you need. No worries though. Go to the customer service desk and get a isle map. They are open while they remodel.Remolding finished. The lanes are named after local streets. Kinda cool.

Wow. Awful experience at Safeway today. The lady at checkout was talking about politics, which I told her she shouldn’t be doing. She proceeded to argue with me the entire two transactions that I had. I was shopping for another person and myself, and she insulted the fact that an ebt card was used for the transaction. “At least nobody ever had to buy food for me”. She then went on and on about the candidate and said they could fire her before she stopped talking about this guy. I spoke to the manager, but he didn’t seem to mind much since he was heading to break.I was a GM for many years, as well a regular customer to your store, and am absolutely stunned at the experience I had today. A checker arguing politics. The manager actually walked away without a care. He stated that he would talk to her later. (tall bald man heading for break) The problem was, the employee doubled down and continued talking. About her 401k tanking, her masters degree. Why would I have this information about this employee? Because she told me during my two transactions. All after I told her to refrain from talking politics. My grocery shopping experience should be absolutely free of politics once I walk in your door. I certainly should NOT be berated and insulted that I used an ebt card during one of the transactions.

Thought it was weird that there was nobody in the deli area. Found someone in the back, and he said nobody came in for their shift. Then he turned around and went to the back. Expected him to say, "Let me call someone to come and help you out."

This is a nice Safeway. We went looking for cut flowers for my granddaughter, and they had a wide selection to choose from. Same with their pre-made entrees. We got rib tips & chicken wings for $6.00 each, and there was more than enough for my son and I to share. Like a lot of Safeway's, they had a Starbucks in the store, and the bathrooms were clean.

Love shopping here...but not enough cashiers. The self check out has a lot of elderly that can't work the check stand so the machines get stalled waiting on help-- it takes a long time to get what you need and get out. I will say there is a good selection of food & items you may need so if you have more than enough time its ok. Otherwise plan on spending some time there.

This time of year the store is very busy but the employees are courteous and have great customer service. The deli has a great variety of meats and salads. The fried chicken is out of this world! Shopping here has been my pleasure.

Can find some decent deals. Employees can sometimes be mean but most of the time they are nice. Got food poisoning from frozen ghost pepper burritos and the pesto chicken Safeway brand pastries in the frozen food isle. Waste of money Sucks!!!!

We have had 3 roasted chickens in the past 4 or 5 weeks.You need to cook them longer, all 3 were not done, bloody near the bone, meat a dark pink.They were not brown on the outsideWe returned the first one.Threw out the next two.!Please attend to this problem.Otherwise we love your storeNever any other problems

The store is cool. The bakery is really good. Good produce section. Gloria is a Rockstar. Kathy in the bakery is a Rockstar, too! They have a senior day. The only thing about this place and this has NOTHING to do with the store, but the parking lot there is pure mayhem. Almost every time I go there, I'm in a near collision. To the east of the store is brutal. Oh yeah, they have Starbucks there, too! Which reminds me, Nevaeh is a Rockstar Starbucks girl.

I absolutely love this safeway, I pretty much go here for everything since I moved to prescott 5 months ago. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The shelves stay adequately stocked and they are open on most or all holidays. The only thing I don't like is there is not a butcher in-store at this location. 5 star experience every time.

I was pleasantly surprised when a young lady working in the meat dept said she would call me the next morning if the chicken came in and would have my order ready; and she did call me!! Customer service is excellent; most unexpected but greatly appreciated!!

The staff were excellent . I was in a hurry to get back to work. Had hard time looking for something the wife asked me to get. They not only help me find the sauce she wanted but the lady from Safeway who helped also opened a register to check me out . I was able to get to work without my boss noticing and make my wife happy.

You can't put food in the same bag as dryer sheets. I don't want Snuggle flavored Red Vines. Aside from that product is often tagged incorrectly, resulting in me having to stand in line to return it. I work retail and felt the manager would like to know about the issue but when I told him he didn't care. Then there was the big one, I was charged twice for a large grocery purchase and when I pointed it out the manager was extremely rude about it, like it was an inconvenience for him. They ended up trying to return it through a different register, assured me it would be returned within 10 days or so, it never happened. I had to call corporate and finally got ahold of someone who cared and she sent an email to the store and set it up so I could go in and get my money back. I go in and they claim they have no knowledge of the email, I don't know if they looked for it or not, I ended up having to call the girl at corporate, who then called the store and convinced/forced them to give me my money. Which they did plus a little extra attitude for my troubles. So head on in to Safeway if you like getting dirty looks and customer loathing service.

When scanner at employee check stand is broken and I wait to get it all rung up and they can't run QR code off cell phone...that NOT goodI knew,it wasn't her fault... I just had to keep my cool and told her to void it. And go another check and rewaitto get checked out.With Inflation high I'm not losing 21$_savings because your code reader is broken.

When I am in Prescott Valley I don't do a lot of shopping at Safeway but recently I stopped there for a few items and it's a very fine grocery store. It's clean and not cluttered. I enjoyed their lemon pepper rotisserie chicken that I bought there on my most recent trip to Safeway. The cashiers are always helpful and friendly. Their grocery prices are a little higher than some other stores, however if you shop their weekly bargains, that is a good thing.

We had an issue with some visa gift cards we purchased that turned out to be fraudulent. Purchased at this Safeway. We had the receipt, the cards were bad. Safeway Manager Mathew basically said sorry for your luck! Would not stand behind a product they sold. We will not shop in this store again. Other grocery stores still believe the customer is right, and in this instance they sold a product that was fraudulent without standing behind a product they sell. We will spend our money elsewhere.
