I had been here before many years ago but didn’t remember it until I was sat in the same booth and I swear had the same server! We both had the chicken fried steak breakfast. She had no eggs, deep fried home fries and a pancake. I had eggs over medium, hash browns and toast. The chicken fried steak was so yummy and my eggs were done to perfection. Both my hash browns and her deep fried home fries were very good and the pancake may have been the best I’ve ever tired. We don’t get up to Pine often but we will be back.

First time at this breakfast spot, one of the few places open for breakfast early in Pine! We shared The Big Bird Breakfast with full Biscuit and gravy with bacon, hash browns and eggs over medium! So much food and glad we shared. The b&g were on point the biscuits were fluffy and cooked to perfection they are second best to mine! Go early to avoid a long wait, but definitely worth the wait. Food comes out hot and quick!

The fam had breakfast here today! Large portions that me and my 3 kids could not finish. Fresh fruit on each plate🍉. All of the staff were friendly and busy keeping the morning crowd happy. The pancakes were wonderful, and the whipped butter was fabulous. The biscuits were huge and the bacon nice and crunchy!

We ate here twice while on vacation. My family really liked the food, particularly the pancakes. I thought the breakfast burrito was awesome. Gravy was blah for biscuits and gravy but not bad. Overall a good place for breakfast. My only drawback is the service, folks are nice but you can tell they have had enough of us out of towner's. We were sat next to the kitchen both times and it was annoying to listen to the dishes crash constantly and hear the people jibber jabbering but it was pretty busy.

No trip to Pine is complete without stopping by the Early Bird Cafe. Food is delicious, hot, large portions and served with a smile. They are usually busy, only open til 2, so you may need to wait. Today 6 of us dined in. Our servers Vicky & Sherry were quick, friendly and fast with refills and extra items. The chefs Michael & Greg did a fantastic job keeping up with orders and everything was cooked perfectly. I only took a few pictures, forgot the outside and menu. I had chicken fried steak, eggs over easy, hashbrowns & pancake. My husband had pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. One son had egg, mushroom, chorizo & green chili burrito. Other son had large waffle with bacon and my parents had biscuits & gravy with eggs. We almost ate it all, only one to go box. Nice, cozy cafe with really good food & prices. Try it next time you are in Pine, right on Beeline Hwy.

We love this place. It’s our third time dining in here. We always want their breakfast when in Pine. Overall the food here is good.So far we’ve had: Veggie and cheese omelette which was ok. The Big Bird Breakfast with biscuits and gravy was good; the sausage was good, the best gravy we had but the biscuits were dry. Our favorite is the Country Fried Steak; so far the best we’ve had. We loved everything about this dish. Tasty home fries, perfectly cooked eggs and the best tasting country fried steak and gravy. The service was great! The food came out fast and hot. Thank you to all the staff. We’ll be back if we are in the area.

Really good food and a big portion that I didn't expect had me throwing in the towel half way, I felt bad because the biscuits and gravy were really good. The place was really busy, we waited outside for about 20 minutes. (No other options in this tiny village at 9am)After we wiped our seats down from all the food leftovers it took about 20 minutes to get our order in, maybe longer to get our checks. My mother being in a walker after knee surgery, struggled here as surfaces were uneven and had to walk around to the front entrance from handicap parking. Maybe they need better signage? Good place to eat it was really busy when we went.Wheelchair accessibility: Maybe better signage, handicap spots seem far from front main entrance.

Honestly wasn’t sure to expect. Walking in Michelle served us and was so nice and sweet. She recommended food that was amazing. Leslie was walking past our table and her engagement with us was very comforting. She also recommended a biscuit that was to die for. Definitely comfort food everything was amazing!!! Cooked perfect and seasoned very well. We WILL definitely recommend this to any visitors and we WILL be back!!!

Old school diner type restaurant with a well used bar area on the south end of Pine. Not much to look at, but the burger was excellent. The fries were hot and crispy. The servers were also nice.My ding in rating was that no one or the servers or cooking staff were wearing masks (Dec 2020). Masks may not be required in that county though it creeped us out, especially for the servers to not be wearing them.

Timeless American greasy spoon diner that’s open for breakfast all day. Enjoyed the omelettes and hash browns. Very small town vibes, but pretty tasty food that came out quickly.

This is a Very Lovely restaurant. First sight when I walked into the places, wow, vivid young ladies were already working hard in the early morning. The store name is truly true! With the delicious food they presented to me, I'd say giggles of those pretty girls endowed much more energy to every single person who sat in there! I guess the myth of astonishing popularity of this place has been just revealed its veil. Her smile, unreal, Angel.

Open early at 6:30am and not crowded until 8am....my breakfast dream place. This is a nice cafe nestled in Pine and right on the highway with a large selection of breakfast and lunch items. Big portions, yo.No excuses, come get some.

We just moved to Payson and drove up to check out the area. We shared the big bird breakfast with two biscuits with sausage gravy, three eggs, sausage, home potatoes, and one giant, fluffy pancake. So much food 🤗 Everything was delicious!! Michelle was an awesome server. We will be back for sure!We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures, haha, but trust me, as a former restaurant owner, this place is legit amazing🙌

A fair little restaurant. It doesn’t have any food that really stands out.The only downside is that you can’t a burger for breakfast. I’m not an egg/pancake guy and would like non-breakfast options. Also beware of up-charges on the menu. They’ll get you if you decide to split food with the table.

Food was very good , the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly not greasy at all , didn't even have to season or add anything to them. Didn't have to wait long for service nice and prompt. Highly recommend this place.Vegetarian options: They also have great vegetarian and gluten free options.

The two of us ordered the big breakfast and were amazed at how much food came with it and how delicious it was. The pancakes were perfect. Flawless hash hashbrowns (I'm from Idaho and picky about potatoes) and the sausage and eggs were excellent. They even had some fresh fruit on the side. The biscuits and gravy were also huge and delicious. All the food in the photo is just the 2 meals we ordered.

I had the waffle combo with scrabled eggs (added cheddar cheese) and bacon. The waffle itself was flavorful and came with lots of whipped butter. The bacon must be applewood smoked because it was some of the best bacon I have had, and they added SO much cheddar to the eggs, which were also seasoned perfectly. It even came with a side of fruit, and they somehow some of the most flavorful honeydew I have ever had. I will gladly drive from Flagstaff to have breakfast here again!
