We have enjoyed the food here before, but it was our first time trying the Monday meatloaf special. It was really delicious. We served a tremendous amount of meatloaf garnished with bacon and onion rings along with mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh green beans. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I think next time my hubby and I will share a meal. We have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow right now. The server was friendly and checked in on us periodically, keeping our drinks filled and offering to go boxes.

Man am I bummed to leave this review. I researched our trip to Pine weeks in advance, knowing that we’d be visiting over Easter weekend. I called ahead to see if they’d be open. And I checked again the day before Easter. All was good! I was told twice that it was open. I drove past in the morning and saw that it was open! When we pulled in for dinner, with two young kids in tow, we were turned away at the door. They decided to close, and we had to find elsewhere to eat last minute on a holiday. I totally understand closing on a slow holiday, but that’s something you need to decide in advance. I was looking forward to trying this place out, and I can’t say that I’ll be making a stop here in the future now. Unfortunate.

Went in tonight with a party of 7, were told right away of a 30-35 minute wait and had no problem waiting. Watched another large party who came in after be seated right away. When we asked about it they brushed us off and then a manager came by and asked us not to talk to the staff. We asked her for her name if we had any questions, she didn't answer and turned and walked away. Ended up leaving (almost an hour of waiting) and going to another local restaurant that treated us kindly and had amazing food (just down the road).

My husband and kids went without me when they were playing in Pine, and I was home and they raved and loved the food. They ordered more fries because the kids wanted more, and they thought the server was so nice. Well a couple weeks later I was with them this time and the service was not so good or the food. This time there was a lot of food left and, the service was not good. The meat of my burger seemed like it was pieced out of chunks of meat smashed together rather than ground. The fish was not light and flaky, and was hard. Bummer I was so excited, even my husband who raved about it said it was bad. The kids did not eat well like the previous time. This apparently does not reflect the usual, because this is not how my my family's first visit turned out.

Pretty cool spot! We got the loaded nachos based on a recommendation from the server. Big portion but the chips definetly needed more time to drain. Friendly service and good pricing.I would recommend

My friend and I went to Pinewood Tavern after work. I had wine he had beer. Turns out Pinewood has a good variety if beer. He explained that Ipa stands for (Indian Pale Ale) I didn't know that. The wine I ordered was very good. We also had an order of onion rings that were delicious. We saw a lot of food being that looked very tantalizing. Oh our bartender was very knowledgeable about the different types of ale and beer.All in All a 5 star experience.Blessings, JohnUpdate 2-21-21My friend and I went to get a burger today. Our server was Stephanie she was very friendly our food was delicious she mentioned Meatloaf Monday to us we will definitely be back.Update 3-1-21We came back for Meatloaf Monday since it has BACON in it, I passed and had the chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes it was delicious.The peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream is made to order and takes about 15 minutes you get it in an individual crock it was awesome 👌 worth every penny of its $8.00 price.Blessings, John

Very good, high quality food. Their burgers are huge and juicy and their fries are crispy and delicious. Definitely reccomend the pastrami burger!! Great place to eat when visiting Pine!

Talk about your neighborhood restaurants. We were staying in Strawberry and a 3 min drive from here and the food and atmosphere were awesome. Just passing through town really.Now I'll be honest it was a slight wait for a table and food (But come on it's a small town and they're short staffed like everyone else) the drinks were amazing our server was friendly and the food was DELICIOUS. If you feel like sharing something we recommend the nachos. Hands down one of my favorite spots. We will be coming back.The live band was a super fun addition too.

We came on Day 2 of opening. So drinks were served right away but as you could expect wait time for food was a little long-40 mins. We were a party of four. Two of us had a loaded tater and both weren't baked or loaded enough. We think it would even be better if they did loaded skins like TGIF. Another friend ordered Pulled Pork ($10) and the portion and taste was good. I had the Ole Blue ($12) and I actually really liked it. The fries are good, not salty, remind you of In-n-Out fries because they're house made. So my experience I'd say was 4. But my friends agreed more like a 3 because of the quality of the loaded taters. The atmosphere and decor is nice. Staff is friendly. Restroom was clean and nice.

UPDATE AS OF 09/2022!! Unfortunately this place has become a bit ran down and understaffed. The last three times I have given it a shot I have been there for over two hours waiting for my food. And even then it always comes out cold or with something wrong. Additionally the place is always like 85° inside so it's impossible to be comfortable while you're waiting for your food. Super disappointing as it was one of our favorite places to go in Pine.I want to start off by saying this is a more top dollar place, with that being said you absolutely get what you pay for. Servings sizes are great. Atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. We had live music while we were there. Wait time for table was almost nothing and it was busy. Wait time for food was a bit longer than I'd like but for the quality one cannot argue at all. Pictured is the cowboy burger with sweet potatoes fries and onion rings. I loved it all. I don't drink but they seem to have a large variety of drinks. Service was exceptional and delightful. Will deffinatly be coming back here more often.

Terribly slow service, obviously frustrated management and staff. Mediocre cooking at best. The soggiest mess of fries I’ve ever made the mistake of ordering. I asked for a side of the dirty fries was told that was a thing and got an entree with a $2 discount.

Great service. I got to enjoy a live band there this weekend. Service was great even though it was crowded. Large portions of food I would suggest splitting one if you're not that hungry.Prices are expensive for my personal budget but I can see why they are it's because of the large portions of food and delicious food

Went here on a Monday when they were very busy, and still managed to pull put one of the best burgers I've ever had. This was the cowboy burger, and best part is, it was very reasonably priced. Go here!

Don't pass this place up if u are passing through or staying a few days.. Dirty Fries are even better than they sound on the menu.. Tarven salad is super fresh and tasty.. DONT PASS ON THE RANCH..staff is super friendly and great service to go with that...

SOOOO GOOD!!Super friendly prompt service from Tessa!!Had the blue burger and fries .. super tastey!!Had great conversation with Tessa .and just an awesome time!!Will be back soon .. !!Update!Came back 7/9/19 and had Taydem as our bartender/server..he was great at handling the bar patrons as well as tables in the dining room. Drinks were delivered and refilled without any delay. He even memorized our food order which is super impressive!My cowboy burger was fantastic!My daughter order the chicken ceaser salad and the chicken was tender and the romaine was crisp!I highly recommend stopping by this gem if your in Pine , ask for Taydem .. you wont be disappointed!!

Finally fine dining has come to the Northland you can taste the handmaid experience on each and every dish, it has a phenomenal selection of beer, wine and drinks if you are visiting the Northland and what the best food around this is definitely a must stop.

We stumbled across Pinewood Tavern on a day drive to the Mogollon Rim. We were quite pleased... The Pine Thyme cocktail was a nice take on bourbon. Wife ordered the veggie burger w/ potato salad as a side. Our fantastic waitress Kaylee, and kitchen staff were attentive enough to ask if she still wanted potato salad as it had bacon. She's good with bacon but awesome they asked. The elote was delicious, as was my ahi salad. We will return during our next trip to Pine.

I drove up from Phoenix just to eat here after hearing that it was related to Old County Inn (which I also highly recommend). The food and drink was fantastic and the service was some of the best I have seen with each server working to aid each other for the benefit of the customers.I will definitely be returning and next time I will be bringing more people with me so I can sample more of their food.
