Our first time here and we truly enjoyed it. The pizza was delicious. We had the meat pie. The wings and warm potato chips were delicious too! The best part was our gracious and attentive server, Amanda. She took excellent care of us. I am lactose intolerant and she asked the chef if we could have a pizza half no cheese. She made it happen even though it’s not a normal thing to do. We had a great time and will be back!

We ended up eating here twice during our visit! Our first meal we tried 3 pizzas and loved them all. The clam pizza was awesome (although a bit spicy if you’re adverse). The second meal we ended up with wings, salads and a few other pizzas. Everything was delicious. We were bummed the mushrooms were out when we came by. The outdoor patio does have heaters, but can be a bit chilly. Violeta went above and beyond to take care of us, she was funny and very attentive even with it busy.Parking: Lots of parking on all sides, gravel lot, freeKid-friendliness: They have high chairs, lawn games and a changing table in the women’s room (not the men’s though, bummer).Wheelchair accessibility: There aren’t any steps to be worried about, but the parking lot is gravel and may be hard to navigate.

Best clam pizza!I love this place so much, it was one of my favorites when I visited Pine/Strawberry (and also one of the primary reasons I would head that way, in addition to the beautiful hikes/scenery, escape from the bustling Phoenix city life).It's usually pretty busy when I come here, regardless of the day time (I've been on Wednesday before happy hour, Sunday morning right at opening, and other random times). I love the taproom in the back, they have live musicians regularly and when the weather is nice, it's really enjoyable to sit outside, play a round of cornhole, and enjoy the view of the mountains.Service is always great and friendly. They have a standard drink menu with lots of solid options (I like their margaritas) and of course beer/wine.My favorite dish of all time is their clam pizza, but over the years I've tried several others that are also delicious. Their wings, salad, and other entrees never disappoint either.If you're in Pine/Strawberry AZ, this place is a must visit!

Super cute neighborhood bar and hang out spot.The wood fire grilled pizza, and wings are delicious. I have to say the wings may just be my absolute favorite. The marinade used came through in every bite. Sorry, I inhaled the wings.. they are not pictured here.The team is very welcoming and friendly to visitors.

I want to start off with this is one of the few five out of five stars that I have given to a pizzeria, keep up the good work! 😎🍕I ordered one cheese and one meat pizza and they were both flawlessly and properly cooked along with using really good quality ingredients. The crust is good enough to eat without any sauce for kids which is a difficult task for most pizzerias. We tried going earlier in the week and it was almost a 2 hour wait, knowing how good it was. I should have probably waited for dinner but we found a different place instead. The bottom of the pizza had a little bit of a crunch to it and the tomato sauce was not too sweet or mellow but just right. The crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside as it was properly cooked and proper hydration and cooking temperatures were all achieved on this visit. All of the toppings were properly caramelized from the correct amount of temperature and time it was being cooked.

Wow can we stop and talk about this place. Don't let the name fool ya. The best beer we have had for a long time. Yes they have a tap room! The wood fire pizza so yummy 🤤. The curst so light and fluffy in a thin kind of way. We have the spinach artichoke chicken pizza. With the Arizona green salad with the best balsamic vinaigrette. This place is a must. It smells so good outside too. They have a chicken coop next to the firewood it smells good.

Sat inside, it's a bit too loud for me and a small 2 table and bar area. The outside was nice, but it was just too hot for me. The pizza was great. But those chicken wings/legs were fantastic. It was 4 pieces of a full wing and leg attached, I'd go just for that. The bartender was our server, so she got busy easily, and we had to wait a bit longer than expected. Triple meat pizza was greasy and delicious. The artichoke pizza had too many leaves and not enough hearts, otherwise it was good.

Really enjoyed our first visit there. Friendly staff, MO, was our waitress she took excellent care of us. Her recommendation for the beer cheese with bread sticks was outstanding. The pizza (Hawaiian bbq)was superb, the crust is not too thick, yet it remains soft. There was a perfect balance of flavors. I had lemonade to drink refreshing without being overly sweet or overly tart. I can't wait to come back and try another pizza.

I have been in many places but this one is special. We had a late lunch after hiking Bob Bear trail. The lil tavern is just exquisite. The place is super homey and the music is super amazing. But foremost I have no words to thank them for going above and beyond. I left my sunglasses (not cheap) and when I called Mo, very nicely told me they will mail them to my house. Beyond the freaking delicious pizza, the service is incredible. Thank you guys.

I heard about Old County Inn on social media and stopped in over the weekend. the wait was 30-40 minutes and the place was super busy. The good was good and the service was good despite being packed. it's far enough from the street to not have too much road noise and had a fun atmosphere with Cornhole and live music. The pizza was authentic wood fired and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. If you're passing through it's worth a visit.

My fiance and I took our 4 teens up to Strawberry over the weekend for a change of scenery and fresh air. Saturday night we picked up 5 pizzas and 2 orders of wings. As soon as my son bit into his Hawaiian BBQ pizza his eyes rolled back in his head and he claimed it to be the best pizza he has ever had. We all enjoyed it! The wood fired pizza is phenomenal and we would recommend this place to everyone. My son asked if they had another location in the Phoenix area as well. Great food! We will visit again!

Great place for fire brick oven pizza, I had the meat pie and bear cheese bread sticks, both were great. The service was good, the place definitely was humming along. I can see how wait times could vary quite a bit but they get things done as fast it it can be. We got lucky and had no line to be seated but I've tried to stop in the past and it was 15 ppl deep waiting out front. Seems like minimal indoor seating with a larger patio area so keep that in mind. Very friendly folks and a nice atmosphere of a little home town kinda place. Worth the time and money if you're in the area.

Stopped in for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Grabbed a couple seats in the Tap Room with Moe as our bartender. She was great. Made a couple great menu suggestions and we lived them. Enjoyed the variety on tap too. Cant wait to go back. Loved the atomsphere, food and service.Dietary restrictions: Have GF options for those that need them and they are good!

"I had an incredible experience at Old County Inn in Pine Az ! The wood-fired pizzas are absolutely amazing and definitely worth a try. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings were delicious. The staff was also fantastic - they were so friendly and accommodating, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. The outdoor patio has a stunning view and is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. I highly recommend Old County Inn to anyone in the area or passing through. I was a little alarmed with the pizza special titled “Brandon’s Back,” because I thought it was a play on the lame ass “Let’s Go Brandon” meme. Turns out the manager’s name is Brandon, and he’s returned after a brief hiatus. The waitress’s “death to the patriarchy” tattoo made me feel at ease.This place is hip. Don’t let the old fashioned vanilla name fool you. This is an eatery for everyone from every background. They’ve got beer and wine and sodas, delicious wood-fired pizzas, and some interesting appetizers. The menu isn’t huge, which I appreciate, so check your expectations at the door.Service was quick, friendly, and thorough. Jamie was awesome. The patio is fantastic. The pizza was perfect. Honestly, I didn’t expect to find this quality of food in Pine, and I’m glad we stopped by.

Man - if this was place was located in Phoenix I’d be a regular and it would dangerous. Love this place!! Great amazing food and beer selection. Live music in the tap room was fun and entertaining. The staff is super friendly. Great craft beer options and good variety of cocktails. The food is delicious- beer cheese is sooooo good, pizzas are solid and the wings are on point. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Two times in a row it has not been the same. From the food to the atmosphere, not sure what's happening. Been eating here since day one and the consistency has been spot on for years. It's not my imagination. The chix pix rubbery chewy chicken. The pizza was very hard. It always folded nicely and yet still had a great chew not the last couple times though. My drink was was good but it was not the usual great. The music playing was even wrong.

This is the best place for wood fired pizzas. We went there for lunch on Sunday. The weather was cold and sat outside and they do have heaters outside as well which was very nice and felt warm and comfortable. Their bread sticks are yummy and delicious. Their wood fired soft crust pizzas are the best I have ever had.It was established in 2016 still it’s very popular place for visitors to go.The best part of seating outside was we saw deer 🦌 across the street there is a forest and we sighted few deers while we were there.Beautiful experience. They were busy and packed and we had to wait for 30 mins before we got a table. Service was good too. I had driven from Phoenix so was super hungry by the time we reached here. But the wait was worth it.Next time I visit I will definitely visit again and I will make sure I go alone so that I don’t have to share my meal with anyone 😂.Vegetarian options: They have large vegetarian options to choose from.Parking: Plenty open parking spaceWheelchair accessibility: It is located on the ground floor and it’s easily accessible by wheelchair ♿️

I finally made the trip up to Old County Inn after seeing it on many lists for having great pizza. Being from Chicago, I've had a hard time finding pizza that I'd consider to be on par with back home, but I finally found that here. The Burrata pizza and portobello mushrooms were delicious and I'd gladly make the hour drive to eat it again. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were great.
